Talon's whole perspective changed as did her form, she then began to take the fight back to Siaxx instead of letting the Bolian exhaust herself, she quickly disarmed her and then she quickly ended the fight.
Talon sighed softly, she was only breathing heavy as she extended her hand to the downed Bolian woman. "You fight well..." she then helped the Bolian up. "but you must govern your passions... I can see the turmoil in your eyes.... Torilla was right to call me for help."
"She called you ... for me?" Siaxx asked.
"Yes... she didn't think she could train you.... so she asked me for help." the smaller human woman who was about the same height as Siaxx grinned at her. "I couldn't refuse my student's request so I took my ship, the USS Brooklyn and came here." she smiled as she regarded the other two women chatting, Rachael came over and gave her aunt a big hug. "Nice fight." she commented.
"Siaxx... you have excellent stamina but your form needs work." Talon commented. "However.. I can bet you've never faced a threat like me before... have you?"
"No.. it was.. intimidating.."
"I figured you'd go at me until you dropped from exhaustion."
"Yeah..." she breathed in and then out. "Torilla wasn't kidding about you."
"She is my finest student and she has learned well..." she paused as she observed Torilla. "She will need you in the days to come... both of you." Talon commented softly.
Rachael didn't ask questions, she just nodded as Siaxx also nodded as well as Torilla who was standing next to Phoenix inquired. "How long is your family on the base for?"
"Mom is here for the treatments. Which like chemo, is only good for prolonging her sufferin' ," Phoenix explained as she balled up her metal first. "She wants ta spend tha time she's got left with me an' Aryssa."
"Is there nothing that can be done..." Torilla asked softly as she just realized what it was that was pissing Siaxx off... "Of course... its the situation with your mom that's pissing Siaxx off.... she's not angry... she's frustrated and I'm blind..."
"If Warden Yeager gave a shit about the prison population, he'd of requisitioned the medicine needed. But it's a place prisoners die in, after ten ta fifteen years or so of hard labor," Phoenix explained rather angrily.
"Explains why she wants revenge.... and its long past time you got it." Torilla commented. "Would you like to arrange an accident?" she then smiled darkly.
"I'd like to commit his murder," Phoenix spoke rather severely, her left hand clenching so tightly that her hand started to bleed a bit. "Folks 'spect that of me though. An' rightfully so... I try ta be tame for Siaxx an' Brislan's benifit. But I aint. I live by an Eye For An Eye."
Torilla nodded. "A fair point... just point him out tome and I'll do worse then kill him.... I'll destroy his mind..." and with that she gave Phoenix a grin.
"Any moron watchin' this, or familiar with martial arts should know that each one depends on students of said art learnin' sequences and repetitiveness so they don' have ta think in a real fight. Any mixed martial arts person can disrupt the best of any single martial art master as a result," Phoenix said, shaking her head. "Improv is what confuses folks most."
"I have my own style.... considering I can throw things at people." Torilla smiled. "or I can pick my opponent up and throw him against a wall."
"I can crush any opponent's bones with my prosthetic grip and I have been known to stop a Jem'Hadar blade or two with its alloy strength," Phoenix spoke lowly, for not many knew about her hand and it being the main reason she came up on top of the many brawls she got herself into. "Which is sorta why I don' spar folks... It's too easy to seriously damage 'em."
Torilla smiled at that. "I can respect that." she responded as she regarded Phoenix, quickly realizing that there was a lot more to this woman then she seemed.
"I came to this place, tryin' ta keep my temper in check," Phoenix explained. "I hurt lots of folks, gettin' in ta brawls in my last posting. To tha point most fear me... An' I think I like that fear sometimes. Cuz I have somethin' not many humans have - an unstoppable fist, however piece-of-shit it sometimes gets ta be, electronically."
"Sometimes people need to learn." Torilla responded with a smile. "Fearing you isn;'t a bad thing... you are... who you are and you should be true to yourself... who gives a fat rat's hairy ass what others think of you...." she paused. "I know Siaxx cares a great deal about you otherwise she wouldn't be in this state..."
"An' 'ats supposed ta make me feel better?" Phoenix spoke as she turned to look darkly at Torilla. "I can' be who I really am 'round her or I'd hurt her an' scare her if I let my rage out. An' knowin' she's pissed from me makin' her feel helpless only makes me want ta hit somethin' even more."
"Then you and Siaxx need to go off somewhere and have a long heart to heart...." Torilla responded. "She might be a medic but... she's a lot stronger then she looks.... she'd need to be in order to deal with me and my family... because we're generally regarded as a little odd."
"I can' hit her cuz it's not Her fault," Phoenix spoke, this time becoming visibly agitated. "It's mine... I confessed too much of my heart to her, too soon. An' she can' help me with a lot of my daemons, cuz I didn' want her fixin' all my problems."
"Ahh..." Torilla nodded as she sighed softly before looking down at the deck as it was very clear that she understood what Phoenix was saying. "and you're concerned it'll destroy your relationship with her.?" she paused. "Siaxx has always been there whenever I needed someone... if you show her you want her... then she'll be there." she paused. "don't rely upon her then... let her help but don't let her do everything."
"You 'member what I said 'bout folks learin' ta stand on their own?" Phoenix said with clenched fists. "Well... She wants ta fix 'em herself. She don' want me doin' things my way. An' 'at don' do nothin' but make me feel helpless too."
"Then take her aside.... and tell her bluntly, she might not be happy but... she will respect you for it..." Torilla commented. "I've known Siaxx for years... she will appreciate directness..."
"I need to go hit something," Phoenix finally spoke as she began to walk out of the gym. "This... whatever the hell this is you folks are doin' - aint workin' fer me."
Torilla nodded. "Alright... I'm sorry I couldn't help."
