McKnight smiled as the two blocks of chocolate arrived. "Lets see how this tastes." he then sliced off a piece of chocolate and then took a sip of the port. "Mmm..." he smiled. "good."

Daisy took a bit of the chocolate and sipped the port. She closed her eyes as she enjoyed the indulgence. She looked at McKnight "I'm going to be honest, I didn't think you'd be the type of guy that would enjoy chocolate. I'm so very glad that I'm wrong." she told him.

McKnight chuckled softly. "Well.. I do have a few simple pleasures... Chocolate is one of them, My wife introduced me to it but that was a long time ago." he paused as he sipped his wine. "a very long time ago."

Daisy stayed silent for awhile as she wasn't sure how to react. She wanted to keep an upbeat mood. "What other 'simple pleasures' do you have?" Daisy finally asked.

"Sometimes there is nothing like a hot shower after the end of a days work." he responded. "Or I'll climb into the tub and soak away my days issues with a long good book." he noted the almost disappointed look on her face but he knew it wasn't because of the fact he mentioned showers or bathing, it was because he didn't tell her that he had been married. "What about you?" he inquired. "What do you do to unwind after a day with the Marines?" he didn't call them 'jarheads' as such things were beneath his notice.

"Oh, most of the time I listen to music." Daisy replied then looked around and lowered her voice " I listen to classical music. There are a few Andorian's I enjoy but my favorite is Bach."

McKnight smiled. "Indeed... Sometimes there is nothing better then sitting at home with a thick heavy book, listening to music." he responded quietly. "I can listen to just about anything... from Romulan Classical to Klingon to Human... as well as several others..."

"Oh, I remember when I was on a Joint Command with some Romulan's, one of them played this atrocious Romulan Classical. I never really tried it because of that. Does all their music sound the same or is there some diversity?" Daisy asked.

Orthos raised an eyebrow as he flagged down a waiter. "Hey, we're ready to order dinner now." he commented with a smile.

"Certainly sir.. what will you two have?" the waiter inquired.

Orthos lookd at Ruhr as he indicated that she should order first.

"Oh thank you." Daisy replies before turning to the waiter. "Pork ribs glazed in warnog. More red wine please."

"I'll have a shepards pie, a side of fries with no gravy and a glass of soda, please... coka cola." he added. "for the vitamins."

"Of course...I'll go get you your drinks." and with that, the younger guy departed.

Orthos turned his attention to her. "Oh there are many different versions of music, Klingon is harsher on the ears but Romulan is just out there... its like comparing Russian Opera to Chinese Classical." he explained to her.

"Really?" Daisy replied. "I don't know much about Romulan music but if you say it's good I'm genuinely interested in learning."

Orthos regarded her with a gentle smile. "I never said it was good... I said it was different." he explained. "One must develop a serious interest in Romulan culture to fully appreciate their music." he paused. "Now Klingon music.... very heavy and rustic.." he added. "Which do you prefer?.... because you are more then just the average Klingon..."

Daisy let out an unexpected giggle. "No, I'm not. I don't even speak Klingon. To answer your question, I really don't like Klingon music. It's a bit too harsh for my ears."

"I sometimes enjoy watching old cartoons." McKnight commented with a smile. "I find a few of them to be worth watching.... some of them might be set as kids shows from several centuries ago.... but they can still teach us important lessons about various things, even today in this decadent age." he smiled at her. "Iason loved the Transformers while he was growing up."
