Coming Aboard

Mission: Mission 13: The Space Between
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 0800Hrs - February 19th, 2390

The doors to the turbolift opened and out stepped a very unusual looking being, she was clearly
female if her figure was any indication, also her face and lips were also another indication.
"Greetings... is the Keptin around?" she inquired of the first officer she saw.

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi was sitting in the Captain's chair and she was one of four officers
presently on the bridge, she heard a female voice address everyone and she rose to her feet.
"The Captain is in the ready room Lieutenant.... you're new aboard... aren't you?"

"Aye Commander. I am." Wintersnow said evenly.

"Good... Head down to Sickbay and tell them that Commander Yamaguchi sent you to get poked
and prodded."

"Yessir." Wintersnow responded.

"Good.." Yamaguchi responded evenly. "Give the Captain my regards." and with that she turned
away, heading back to the Captain's chair, Wintersnow turned, before tapping the door chime.

She looked up, "Enter," Yoshi stated a little annoyed as she was hoping to be leaving the ship
soon to go on a date with her Husband. She seen her new Chief Operations Officer enter. "Ah
welcome aboard Commander," Yoshi stated as she stood up to welcome her.

Wintersnow raised an eyebrow, this was news to her. "Its uhh good to meet you sir." she commented
evenly but being addressed as 'Commander' was a surprise. "I would have been here sooner but
I only got my assignment yesterday." she explained.

"Your fine we just docked, and sorry it seems you got confused with why I said Commander your
Lieutenant Commander but I have a habit of shorting them to Commander...." Yoshi stated hopefully
putting her at ease and less confusion.

Telios looked surprised, she nodded as she quickly pulled herself together. "Yessir. I was confused
about that." the Draenei responded by way of an explanation. "Is there anything special I should know
about the ship?, her crew and the way you do things sir?" she inquired.

"Just do your job and everything will be ok," Yoshi stated looking at her. "She is damaged from the
last mission and is being repaired at the moment. Just enjoy some R&R or you can even if you want
help with the repairs if you so choose. Just watch out for our Chief Engineering Officer he can be...
well off the wall at times." Yoshi added with a grin.

"I'll help with repairs... I've spent the last three weeks sitting around doing little.... it'll be nice to make
myself useful for a change." the Draenei responded. "Is there anything further you require of me sir?"
Telios inquired.

"Not at this time Commander, again welcome to the USS Shadow. Your free to go." Yoshi stated as
she stood up and looked at her.

The Draenei nodded her head. "Its good to meet you sir.". Having been dismissed, the conversation was
over as the exotic looking woman turned and departed.
