Mission: Mission 13: The Space Between
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 0900Hrs - February 19th, 2390

Lt Commander Telios Wintersnow smiled as she walked over to one of the two guards looking after
a checkpoint at the edge of Marine country. "Lieutenant."

"Commander." he greeted her. "Can I ask you your business?"

The Draenei blinked as she raised an eyebrow. "I am here to see about various certifications I need
if I am to stay in peak form Lieutenant, the Major is the one I must see about arranging it."

"Major Ruhr is in the armory, I'll get you an escort."

Telios sighed dramatically. "Really... must you?"

"Yes. I must." he answered her bluntly.

"Lieutenant... I decided to stop as I'm being nice to you... I don't have to stop and talk to anyone,
my rank gives me the clearance I need to go anywhere aboard ship and neither you or anyone else
can do anything about it."

The Marine seemed to almost relish the challenge standing before him. "and If... I still refuse?" he
inquired. "What about if I start pulling on your pretty tail.?"

Telios shifted her weight and position so she was leaning against the bulkhead in almost a languid
position, except she leaned forward slightly so the Marine would be staring at her ample chest. "Well
then, Lieutenant, I should let you know a couple of things..." and with that she growled as her fingers
elongated, her skin tone changed from medium blue to black as her eyes shifted from cyan to a deep
red. She hissed angrily at him. "Now kindly stop wasting my time before I proceed to feast on you."
she then snarled at him.

The Marine jumped. "Woah shit!" he backed off away from the Draenei who seemed to have gone insane
"Let her pass..."

Telios smiled as she quickly reverted to normal. "Why thank you... and here I was thinking I would need
to remove a limb.." before she proceeded onwards, moments later she was in the armory. "Is Major Ruhr
around?"

A loud string of profanities emit from a nearby office. "This red tape is beating me down. All I ask for is a
little quiet while I struggle through. Why do you marines insist on this horse play?" Daisy yelled as she
came out of the office. She had a frown on her face and had three PADDs in her arms. Daisy saw the exotic
looking officer and her face changed to one of surprise.

"Oh, hello there. I'm Major Daisy Ruhr. Can I help you?" She asked in a friendly tone.

"Lt Commander Telios Wintersnow, I'm your new Operations Officer and I'm told you're the one I need to
see about certification, stuff like explosives and sniping." she then smiled. "I like making the bad guys go
away in clouds of red mist."

"Yes, killing bad guys. That's what it is about. Not filling out endless forms." Daisy said with a little frustration
in her voice. "I apologize to you Commander Wintersnow but I'm not ready to certify you right now. We're in
the middle of changing command positions right now. I just don't have the time right now." Daisy said
apologetically. " I promise we'll get on it in a couple of days. I'd like to use the training holodeck on the
Starbase. I don't want to use to much power on the Shadow while she gets fixed up." Daisy explained.

"Glad to have you as part of our team though. We could always use the help." Daisy told Telios.

"Fair enough." the Draenei responded. "Got anything heavy you need relocating?"

Daisy tried to control a giggle. "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with your species. How strong are you?" she asked.

Wintersnow raised an eyebrow. "Ahh... I see a demonstration is in order." she turned her attention to the large
rack of assault rifles, she then reached out with one arm as the entire rank seemed to lift off of the ground, it
was only a few inches but it seemed to serve her point. "I'm psionic, strength doesn't factor into it."

"Oh!" Daisy replied, a little surprised at the demonstration. "That could be useful." she added.

"Um, no" Daisy refocused and answered the original question. "The Armory stayed intact. If you want to
help out in damage control you should talk to Commander Maxwell, the chief engineer. I'm sure he will put
ya to work." she told the new officer.

"The man also has a reputation for being insane." the Draenei responded bluntly. "But alright." she added.

"I think eccentric would be a better fit." Daisy told Telios with a smile. "Don't let his odd behavior mislead
you. One reason the Shadow isn't space debris is because of his actions."

Telios raised an eyebrow in a dubious fashion, clearly she was skeptical. "Perhaps..."

Some of the PADDs slipped in Daisy's arms. "I need to get back to my own little purgatory." Daisy stated
as she fumbled the PADDs. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" she asked.

"Nope. I thought I'd do a quick meet and greet." Telios responded.

"Alright then. I'll let you know when we'll be at the holodeck. Your an interesting person." Daisy said. With that, the PADDs finally fell out of her arms and hit the deck. Daisy silently growled as she knelt down to pick them up.
