The Captain and the Doctor

Mission: Mission 12: Hitchhikers are Escaped Convicts
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 0930Hrs - February 13th, 2390

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi was busy conferring with two of her medical officers,
one was wearing her regular uniform with the blue smock that medical personnel
sometimes wore and the other one simply wore the regular uniform, Celeste for
herself was wearing her own overcoat.

She heard the door open and then close as someone entered as she nodded. Okay
sounds good, finish the inventory as soon as you can because it might be awhile
before we can resupply, use the replicators to make whatever you need." and with
that the three parted company as the two medics turned and walked off, clearly
the conversation was over as Celeste turned to face the newcomer, it was the
Captain. "Captain Baldwin-Webb, what brings you to my dungeon?" Celeste grinned
at the other woman. "Have you come to be tortured by me?, but since this is your
first time. I will be
gentle."

She chuckled, "It is time for my post-natal checkup anyways, plus it will show
the others there is nothing to worry about if I go first." Yoshi stated as she
sat on the biobed.

Celeste nodded as she tapped the display on her tricorder as she went to work.
"Mmm... your blood pressure is slightly elevated." she commented as she proceeded
with the physical. "breathing is normal and so its your body temperature." she
commented. "I'm so happy they did away with the need to make a patient remove
their clothing for medical work." she added as she proceeded to the second medical
checkup. "Lets see.... how long have you been post partum?" the taller then average
human woman inquired, she could have looked it up quite easily but she preferred
the human touch whenever possible.

"About two weeks, got an early release." Yoshi said with a smile. "Also my file
should indicate that is my normal blood pressure for me." Yoshi added as its always
been little past normal for others but since she was not fully human.

"Two weeks and your back on active duty already?" Celeste inquired as she raised
an eyebrow, clearly this was a surprise for her as the look on her face said as
much. "Alright... Who signed off on this paperwork letting you back on active
duty?" she inquired. "Because ten days is a little much"

She kinda chucked a bit, you might want to talk yo your....well the EMH." Yoshi
stated then looked at her. "And don't act surprised Doctor not like you never
seen this happen before and dont go giving me a leture about it. I can assure
you I am taking an easy." Yoshi stated as she could sense her feelings.

"Captain, this is no act.... I've not come across this in my experience." Celeste
responded as she raised an eyebrow. "I sincerely hope you are taking it easy,
it'll make my life infinitely less complicated." she sighed. "Alright then, I
want you in for a follow up in two weeks... then if you are fully healed then
I will stop worrying."

"Thank you Commander, if you want you can put one of those things on me to keep
track of my vitals etc if it will make you feel better." Yoshi said looking at
her.

"No... you say you're taking it easy so until I see otherwise, I have no cause
to dispute that." Celeste commented. "You are however healing very nicely." the
dark skinned woman commented as she cocked her head ever so slightly. "So... I
want you back in two weeks and we will leave it at that...."

She nodded, "Thank you and will do," Yoshi stated looking at her and smiled.

Celeste closed her tricorder as she quickly saved he medical data she had
received. "I'll update your files and I'm much easier to deal with then the
E.M.H." she commented. "I'm also a lot more unreasonable."

Yoshi nodded, "Understand Commander." Yoshi said as she stood up and looked
at her. "Is this all? I better get back to the bridge were scheduled to leave
Starbase 400 here shortly." Yoshi said.

Celeste fought down the urge to snap at the other woman. "Yes that's all." she
responded. "Do keep in mind that I will be watching you carefully... please
don't add to my already considerable workload if you please."

She nodded as she could sense her frustration not to snap at her. "I will be
good Commander," she said as she started walking towards the door. "If I have
any issues I will let you know Commander." Yoshi added as she walked out the
door and paused for a moment then walked towards the turbo lift.

Celeste merely crossed her arms over her chest as she raised an eyebrow but
said nothing until the Captain was out of sickbay. "For is these men do not
die well... it'll be a black matter for the King who lead them to it."
