Captain Jordal Hunt was very happy with the state of his crew, he didn't have a full senior staff roster yet but those that he did have, were coming along very nicely, he regarded the Master System Display at the back of his bridge. "Hsirr." Hunt addressed the Caitian female next to him, she had a midnight black fur pattern and bright yellow eyes with pointed ears, this gave her a kittenish appearance when he knew better. "Will the issues with the starboard computer core be a detriment to us on this assignment.?"

"Negative skipper." purred the Caitian in a flat, even tone. "If anything, having a none-optimal ship will be a test, more then anything else but we can't resolve the issue until we're back in the yard, we need yard support to handle it."

"Lovely, how long will that take?" Hunt inquired.

"About four weeks, give or take assuming the base has the parts we need," she explained evenly.

Hunt did not seem overly bothered about the issue in the least. "Can we fix it ourselves?" he inquired, in a curious tone of voice.

"Of course sir," Hsirr answered. "It'll be a lot of work for the crew but it could be done and it'll take us about nine weeks. That's assuming we don't have any issues with the replicator system or the main power systems while we go and do our thing." the Caitian explained.

"It'll be good for the crew to have a challenge they can face together," Hunt commented. "Alright, we'll handle it ourselves and take on an extra load of provisions on top of what we already have," he added. "Thanks, Hsirr."

"Of course skipper." and with that, she turned and moved off, back towards her post.

Hunt turned and went back towards his post when he was suddenly interrupted by his new Chief Security Officer. Hunt didn't know much of him but what he had seen of Lieutenant Ivan Chung, he liked. "Whats going on Ivan?" he inquired.

"Security is ready to go Captain. I look forward to working with you." Chung told Hunt.

"Outstanding," Hunt answered with a smile. "I know we don't have our full crew yet, hows security coping?" he inquired of Chung.

"We are operational," Chung told Hunt.

"Excellent," Hunt answered. "Any word from the other ships in the search effort?, we have no need to sweep some area that Dreamcrusher, Coral Sea or Incheon did."

The Intelligence officer turned to face Hunt. "Well, skipper. the Dreamcrusher is sending us information that says who the marine commander is.. and where he is staying present." she then smiled. "His name is McElroy Sternwald the Third and he's apparently staying at the Circe De Lyon in New Reims planetside sir."

Hunt smiled at the news. "Fantastic, tell them thank you, he's ours." he then turned to look at Chung. "Go get him, feel free to use whatever methods you wish but I want him on this ship RFN Ivan."

"I understand Captain. He'll be on board before you know it." With that Chung made his way to the transporter room.

Chung walked into the restaurant flanked by two security guards. It didn't take him long to spot Sternwald dining at a table. Chung made a beeline to Sternwald, ignoring the threats by the head waiter that he would call the police if he didn't stop.

"Sternwald, get your sorry ass up. Your coming with us." Chung ordered.

"I beg your pardon?" Sternwald snorted, not turning his head to address Chung and continuing to eat a steak. "I'm busy here. Now learn your manners and address me properly."

Chung picked up Sternwald and slid him across the table. Sternwald slid and fell off the other side, bringing his food and glass of beer with him and onto the floor.

"You bastard!" Sternwald shouted as he tried to stand up. Chung picked up Sternwald and pinned him to the table with a loud thud. He then put manacles on the errant marines wrists. Without grace and a lot of brute force, Chung forced Sternwald up onto his feet. He then frog-marched him out the front door.

"How dare you!" The head waiter protested as Chung forced his way past the thin civilian, almost pushing him over.

"Send your complaints to Star Fleet," Chung told him as he pushed Sternwald out.

The foursome arrived on the transporter pad a short time later where Captain Jordal Hunt. Commander Bishop and two more security guards were waiting for them. Hunt stood with a rather unsavory grin on his face. "Mister Sternwald. I see they found you, good good."

"Your career is so over!" Sternwald shouted at Hunt. "This is kidnapping and I'm going to have the JAG officers rape your sorry ass! This is kidnapping!"

"Shut up and get moving!" Chung ordered Sternwald before giving him a swift push off the transporter pad. Sternwald fell flat on his face.

"You fucking thug!" Sternwald shouted. "I'm going to make sure your some big fucking Klingon's wife on a penal colony."

As Sternwald struggled to get up Chung gave him another swift push. "We'll see about that. Now get your sorry ass up. You got a nice hard bed in the brig."

Hunt regarded Sternwald with a look. "El Tee, a moment please," he commented. "Mister Sternwald, if you ever so much as look at me funny ever again. I will make you curse your mother for giving you birth. Do I make myself clear." there was a dark menace in Hunt's tone. "Thank you El Tee, take him please?" Hunt added after a moment, so as not to give Sternwald time to respond.

"Get moving." Chung roughly pushed Sternwald forwards.

"Whoa!" Bishop shouted as Chung yanked Sternwald to stop. Bishop walked over to the errant marine. "You forgot to tell us where the rest of the marines you lost are, Haus. Now would be a good time to start talking."

"Shove it up your ass, cowboy." Sterwald shot back.

Hunt smiled in amusement but he said nothing, as he tended to permit his officers and crew whatever they needed to do their jobs, how they deemed fit and it was an approach that had always served him well, it also tended to produce better results, such as now.

Chung forced Sternwald against the wall of the transporter room. "Wrong answer scrotum pimple. Now, start talking and maybe you can walk down to the brig without me breaking your legs."

"Are you threatening me?" Sternwald asked in a condescending voice.

Chung put the weight of his body on Sternwald's lower leg. Sternwald screamed in pain. "Yes, I sure am. Now talk." Chung coolly ordered.

"I dropped them off about one hundred kilometers from Mesquite Station." He whimpered. Chung let him fall to the deck before yanking him up again and walking him out.

Hunt smiled as he regarded Bishop. "Isn't Mesquite Station somewhere on Utgarde Four?" he inquired in a gentle tone.

"I ain't sure but we need to tell the rest of the search crews," Bishop replied. "That fool probably put them out there without food or water."

Hunt tapped his combadge. "Bridge, this is the Captain, inform the other ships to check the area around Mesquite Station, out to a range of two hundred miles in all directions from the base."

Hsirr's voice answered with a soft purring sound. "Yessir, the Coral Sea is closest, they will be informed." came the response.

"The information from Dreamcrusher panned out, send their skipper a note that we have the package in hand and it was a great help," Hunt added.

Mmmmrrrr. Yessir. Dreamcrusher will be informed as well." Hisrr responded.

Hunt turned back to Bishop. "I think this crew will work well together. Providing nobody pisses off Lieutenant Chung," he commented with a cheery grin on his face.

Bishop laughed. "Ain't that the truth."

Hunt smiled. "Let's head on up to the bridge."
