| Personal History | Jordal Hunt was born the eldest of two siblings in Caeldross City in 2346 on the Trill Homeworld, to Marlon and Silzia Hunt, as he was the eldest he was somewhat protective of his sister while the two were growing up, anyone who tangled with them both or her, usually met his massive fist which sometimes met with ruthless force. Jordal grew up as a happy child but he quickly became someone who saw his main role in life as a protector, he went into Starfleet with the same mindset in mind. He enlisted rather then go full officer as in his mind he 'wanted to work for a living' rather then sit on his ass ans push buttons while shining a chair with his ass all day long. His 'Can do' attitude helped him along the path he had chosen and through his time in ROTC where he earned a great deal of respect as he soaked up all he was taught quickly. The hopes for his military career rose quickly with his skillset aptitude and the like. Jordal went off to his first assignment with this philosophy in mind, he quickly ended up in security and others had him in mind for other far more dangerous assignments so he found himself being asked to handle some rather dangerous special forces assignments. Everything in his life changed in mid 2381 when he was given a commission and the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, he decided to diversify his skillsets and talents, he went across the floor into Operations rather then remain in Security. Jordal Hunt would remain on the USS Blue Springs for three years before he was offered a promotion to the alpha watch on his next assignment on the USS Kingsville. Jordal found himself assisting a small group of Dranaei refugees and he ended up impregnating one of them, a young female named Silza, she gave birth to a son she named Straton and after reestablishing contact with Jordal on his assignments, she handed their son to him to raise as she was going from place to place so Jordal is free to raise his son how he pleases. While Jordal was assigned to the USS Kingsville, he was promoted to Lieutenant and the posting of Chief Operations Officer, his first time stepping into the spotlight and it was also while he was here, he started gaining command experience in addition to his experience of Chief Operations Officer. Jordal served across two more assignments but it was the second of these that would serve as his crucible. When confronted with a situation in where he was forced to fire on a civilian transport when the transport was fleeing with a stolen antimatter warhead, he was forced to destroy the transport and while he was relieved of duty while Starfleet Security carried out their investigation. He was exonerated of culpability in the event, also he had the support of the Captain and the crew of the ship in question. Three months later, Jordal requested reassignment and he decided to take a step back away from Chief of a department, his request was approved but his request to reduce his rank, however, was not approved so he maintained his rank of commander. Jordal Hunt was reassigned to serve as the Commanding officer of the USS Heart of the Tiger, at the same time, Hunt was also promoted to Captain. |
