Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - USS Incheon
Timeline: 0800Hrs - May 29th, 2393

Commander Ralph Kerr smiled as he regarded the female form of Fleet Admiral Heather Duval and her husband who had come with her. "Welcome aboard Admiral," he spoke formally after she had been beamed aboard along with her husband.

"Thank you, Captain, its good to be here."

"Is it just the two of you?" Kerr inquired.

Enrique Duval nodded. "Yeah Captain, just the two of us, our children all left home and I, at least, am looking for my newest writing ideas," he explained with a smile. "Heather here, oh, she's just along for the ride."

Kerr chuckled softly while he waited for the outburst from Heather Duval who simply said nothing, as she picked up her duffel bag. "I'm just hanging out with my husband, serving him as chef, bottle washer, and general lackey."

"Right. Ummm." Kerr paused. "Would you like a quick tour of the ship Admiral?"

"No thank you, Captain, I do not wish to be a distraction to you, your crew or to your mission. I know of Admirals who love to poke and prod and be overly demanding, I am not one of them, if I need anything then I'll ask the designated officer for the deck that my quarters are on."

Kerr regarded Duval as she spoke. "Permission to speak freely Admiral?"

"Make it a practice Captain. You will not offend me and it'll save us all time." the older female answered with a gentle smile on her lips.

"I had heard that you were a little different than most Admirals but I confess, I didn't believe what I had heard," Kerr answered quietly.

Duval chuckled softly as a smile appeared on her lips. "Don't always believe everything you hear Captain. I will not be offended. I can forgive ignorance but I cannot forgive stupidity." she explained.

Enrique Duval nodded. "I recall our first meeting. "

"Oh yes. It was illuminating." Duval grinned across at her husband.

"Yes, I was assigned to Starbase 133 as a tactical weapons specialist. I was working my second job as a bartender when this young Lieutenant Commander comes strolling in, she was not the happiest woman ever to cross my path, her boyfriend was being an ass to her. I had to err..." he paused. "Err persuade him to clean up his act."

Kerr nodded with a smile. "I assume your efforts did not go well?"

"No. He decided to be unreasonable." Duval answered the other man's statement with one of his own. "Since then, I decided to let my enlistment expire after Heather here and I got serious. Since then. I've been following her ever since."

Kerr regarded the other man, he had originally assumed that the Admirals husband was a mere civilian, he did not know the man was former Starfleet. "I had no idea you were former Starfleet."

"It's not something I talk about often Captain," Duval answered with a smile. "I found it easier to jack it in and raise our family as a civilian, less stress that way," he added with a wide smile. "I've since taken up writing as a career and I must say my experiences and following my wife around the universe has greatly helped me broaden my horizons."

"You released that best-seller last year. 'The Scream of the Icequeen' was a heck of a read. You doing any followups?" Kerr inquired, a wide grin on his face.

"I had no idea, anyone, ever read it," Duval answered he was pleasantly surprised with the feedback. "I'm actually planning three sequels," Duval added.
"How those stories go, well. You'll need to find out when I release the stories," he added.

Heather Duval chuckled softly. "Well guys, should I leave you two here?"

Kerr paused. "Err No. I have your quarters assignment here." as he handed her a PADD.

"Excellent. My thanks." Heather Duval accepted the PADD, she glanced at it as Duval memorized the location, the deck, and section. "Sounds good, if we need anything then we'll contact the officer of the deck we're staying on and keep out of your way."

"Thank you, Admiral," Kerr answered he sounded somewhat uncertain.

Heather Duval lifted her pack and went out the door. Enrique smiled. "What can I say?. My wife is a slavedriver." and with that, he followed her out the door to find her facing away from him, standing there as she waiting for him. "Ready honey?" she inquired of him.

"Coming dear," Enrique responded as he smiled at her, she started off again as he took a moment to admire his wife's ass.

"Stop staring at my ass." Heather Duval commented softly.

"You like it." Enrque responded with a smile. With that, the two moved off down the hallway, towards the turbolift.
