Kassie Paris paused, this was a surprise that she had not been expecting. She narrowed her eyes but she opted not to push her luck with the man before her or risk the wrath of her eldest daughter. "Alright. I will have them at about twenty-two hundred at the local spaceport. Will that be satisfactory?" Kassie inquired.

"Completly. Captain." Solusar answered with a nod of his head. "Give us a shout in case anything changes," he added.

"Okay," Kassie answered before the conversation ended. Kadian waited until the screen had gone back before she turned to Solusar. "You know those two will get in our faces and drive us both insane," she commented.

Solusar regarded Paris. "How can you be so sure?"

"I know my siblings. They are a handful." Paris answered, a trifle hotly.

Solusar frowned softly. "Kadian. Everyone who has siblings does say that," he commented. "Or something along those lines." he then shrugged. "I have several siblings and yes. They all drive me nuts at times. It's perfectly normal."

"You've not met my two. They don't respect rules." Paris answered. "They are always breaking other people's stuff. They..." she ran out of steam. "They infuriate me." she paused. "Just thinking about it pisses me off," she added.

"I'm noticing that," Solusar answered in a dry tone of voice. "Kadian. When was the last time you spoke with your siblings?" he asked her before he suddenly grinned at her. "I'm gonna bet that it's been quite a while for you," he added.

Kadian's silence was telling as she struggled to form a response to his question. "What do you mean by that?"

"Your siblings don't know you anymore," Solusar commented. "That is the source of all of your familial issues. You have three siblings off at the academy and I'd betting that you don't talk to any of them either?... Does anyone in your family even talk to each other?" Solusar paused as it became clear that he had suddenly gone too far with this question. He shouldn't have pressed his case, and now he knew he needed to placate his angry girlfriend and do it now. "Kadian... I'm sorry if I went too far..."

"No. You're right." Kadian commented. "I have a few calls I need to make. I need to contact all my siblings... and dad too." she paused. "I suspect that my efforts come too late. I think James and Julian are already long past the point of any sort of reconciliation. Heather may not be much better off... and dad. I think he's given up at this point." she paused. "However, I will try," Kadian added.

"Alright. I'll make sure that two of the bedrooms upstairs are prepared for our two guests." Solusar commented. "Considering that I know nothing about them, and your information is horribly out of date." he paused. "So I will assume nothing and proceed accordingly," he added.

Kadian nodded her head slowly. "I'd best get started with these calls. Because if I don't do it now, then odds are that I never will," she admitted. "Also, could you throw me in a pair of pants of any kind." she paused. "It's not easy sitting here wearing one of your shirts and a pair of panties," she added.

"Okay," Solusar answered before he left the room. She turned and went to work as he did so. Solusar came back in a few minutes later and he handed her a pair of shorts. "These are from your clothing. My size is a little too big for you." he paused. "Sorry Kadian," he added.

"It's fine." she gently slipped on the shorts over her legs. "Thanks," she answered. "Ahh. It's connecting." A moment later, a face appeared. This young woman was a younger version of Kadian Paris with blonde hair rather than the brunette hair that Kadian herself, wore. Cadet Second Class Heather Paris suddenly grinned as she found herself looking into the warm blue eyes of her elder sister. "Holy shit... Kadian!" she commented. "It's been a minute, huh?" she commented, her smile losing none of its shine.

"Thats one way to word it, Heather. How've you been?" Kadian paused. "My boyfriend was... Rather direct that I needed to stop avoiding my issues and start dealing with them. Before the little issues became stupid and massive issues."

The younger Paris stopped, as Kadian knew she would. "Wait. Kadian Paris has a boyfriend"?. Since when does Kadian Paris have a boyfriend?. What sort of black magic voodoo insanity is this?" she inquired. "Okay, okay. This man I simply must meet. I don't believe you."

Solusar heard all of this exchange. He came over as he peered down at the communication display over Kadian's shoulder. "I am Marcus Solusar. Yes, Kadian is my girlfriend." he commented. "No Black Magic or Voodoo was required," he added with a wide smile of his own. "And I do exist... Because if I don't... Then someone owes me an explination." he added, a wide grin on his face.

Heather Paris smiled, the man had a sense of humor too. A major plus as far as she was concerned. "That's fucking amazing. Kadian!. I'm so fucking happy for you both." Heather Paris grinned. "You need to stay in touch more often, girl. I miss my big sister."

"I'm going to work on it... None of us are talking." Kadian answered. "It's high time we did," she added with a smile.

"Good. So start with recent events. I demand details girl. Out with it..." Heather Paris grinned at her sibling. "How did you two meet and have you bedded him yet?" she commented. "Details already... out with it girl."

Kadian Paris smiled back before she launched into her explanation. Solusar knew he'd be here awhile, but he did not mind in the least.
