Mission: Mission 120: All Along the Watchtowers - Part Two
Location: Various Locations - Utgarde IV
Timeline: 1140Hrs - January 31st, 2394

Paris regarded him as he moved over to sit beside her. "You aren't good with men around, are you??" he asked of her.

"My luck with men has been pathetic," Paris admitted.

"Don't worry, I am not most," Solusar answered with a nod of his head. "Kam did tell me a few things. One of which was to not nag you about sex." he paused. "Which isn't going to be an issue. I want to enjoy your company, not your body."

Paris slowly smiled. "I don't like charging in headfirst. I want to spend time developing our relationship. My last boyfriend was concerned only with my looks. He made me big lunches and expected me to bed him. I like to take my time and walk onto the field, rather than charge in like a Dummkophff." she commented with a smile.

Solusar recognized the Bolian term for a dumb person with little brains. It was considered a mild insult as he chuckled softly. "I got no issues with that. I try not to bed my lady on a first date. I want to know her first... Even we did make an exception for each other over Christmas." he admitted. "A one-time violation of my standards. I will do penance later," he added, he made it sound like a joke but he was also serious at the same time.

Paris smiled. "Since you mention Christmas. I was expecting you to hold me down and have your way with me," she admitted. But you were gentle. I will admit. I wasn't expecting it." Paris regarded him as she sighed. "When I look at you, I see Kam."

"I know," Solusar answered quietly. "It doesn't help that we also think alike. He likes telepaths and... So do I." he regarded her as he thought about the scent of her hair.

"I heard that," Paris said in a soft tone. "You did that on purpose?" she asked.

"What if I did.?" Solusar asked the woman sitting next to him. "It doesn't matter to me that you can hear my thoughts. If anything, it can help cut down our misunderstandings and issues," he commented. "Don't worry though, we won't be having any serious chats in the middle of the night. I'll wait until breakfast, then we can discuss it then..." he commented with a smile.

"I remember that event." Paris shivered, despite the fact it was quite warm in the room. "Kam and Beth got into a rather nasty argument before Kam kicked his pregnant wife out of her bed and her quarters. I was sure their relationship was finished. Thats when Commander Tom Lasky intervened after a day or so. Man, was he fucking pissed." she slowly smiled.

"I've heard of Admiral Lasky, from others. I know Beth really likes him. But she's never really said why. The last time I asked, she got really uneasy about it. So I didn't press further." Solusar explained. "I... I will admit to a certain curiosity."

"I'll tell you what she couldn't." Paris paused. "I am one of a few people who are privy to the details. It's only because I am a family friend and because of some rather funky genetics involved, was I told of the details? I was then sworn to silence."

Solusar was nobody's fool, he knew fully what he was being asked to consider. "This conversation never happened, and we were never here," he answered. "You have my oath," Solusar added softly.

Paris regarded him, as she gently touched his mind with her own. She found that Solusar had a formidable intellect. She then withdrew from his mind. "Alright. Torilla Yamaguchi, thats Elizabeth's mother, for the record. She got a little frisky and she had sex with Tom Lasky, despite the fact that she's Halanan, and mated to someone else."

Solusar frowned but opted to say nothing, the time for questions could wait. He nodded for her to press on.

"Lasky impregnated her, but Torilla had some issues at the time so she couldn't bring the child to term. So Elizabeth took the child to term instead. She sacrificed a year so her younger brother would know life. Otherwise, Torilla would have been forced to abort or lose the child. All of this was because of a medical epidemic that had taken place around the same time." Paris paused. "Anyway, Elizabeth brought Kurt to term and then she handed him off to his father, rather than keep the child herself." Paris paused. "I know that Admiral Lasky has a rather unusual relationship with Elizabeth as a result of all of this drama. She can get away with liberties with the Admiral that most others can only dream about." she then smiled. "Remember what I said. Not a word."

"We were never here." Solusar smiled at Paris. "It's been a long flight and... I should probably get some sleep. Do you want to join me?" he inquired of her.

"No sex?" Paris asked.

"No." Solusar smiled. "I'm a little too tired for it. Sorry, Kadian."

"No worries." With that, she began stripping down to her underwear. She then climbed into bed with him.

Solusar smiled. "Computer, turn off the lights please and close the bedroom door." he then closed his eyes, as he allowed his mind to go blank. The woman next to him did the same.
