Mission: Mission 102: Sic Transit Tienn
Location: Various Locations - Bajor
Timeline: 1600Hrs - August 5th, 2393

Tienn Nerra was the last off of the shuttle, Tienn Prinu was first off and Kenris was off of the shuttle a moment later. Tienn Jaina was standing in the garage as they arrived. Kenris regarded his first wife who had gone missing thirty years ago and it was her, she looked almost the same as she did then, she was worn down but she looked just as beautiful as ever. Tienn Kenris regarded his lost spouse as he drank in the sight of her.

Nerra gently relieved her father of his bags before she moved into the house, closing the door behind her as she knew that her parents needed to have this moment alone and while Nerra would not have had this moment in the garage, she knew that it was coming and it was best handled out of the way of everyone else.

Iteela smiled as she approached her twin. "Mom and Dad, having their reunion.?"

"Oh yeah. We should leave them be." Nerra commented, a twinkle in her eyes.

Jaina regarded her husband in silence. He looked like he had aged and his hair had receded and gone white but he was still her first husband. "I thought you were dead... you and all of our children..." she said quietly.

"I thought the same of you Jaina," Kenris answered quietly. "You dropped off of the face of Bajor, no word, no..." he then sighed softly. "No corpse... no nothing," he added quietly.

"I know... There was a fight between several of the Cardassians, I was their prize, nothing more. One of the Cardassians got into a fight with his superior and killed the two men who were having their fun with me." she sighed as the story sounded dead and hollow to her ears. "The Cardassian in question had to go on the run and I went with him, I had already been told you were all dead and so I went with him."

Kenris nodded his head. "That explains a great many things... Whatever became of this Cardassian guard?"

"He and I went into the Federation as refugees, we settled onto the Tuanko Colony and now, we live on Utgarde Four." she paused. "He was unsure of what to do with me and I was sure he would rape me. Imagine my surprise when I found out that he was a perfect gentleman." Jaina explained evenly. "We had many frank discussions on which I told him exactly how I felt. About him, his species, his government. What was even more surprising in that he didn't rape me, was that he hated his own government more then I did... Which was telling." Jaina explained. "He also agreed with me about his own world, he hated his service more then what he was forced to do to save me." Jaina paused. "He gave up everything for me, his family, his world, his home... To him, all are memories."

Kenris smiled. "I'll believe it." he paused. "So how did you run into our children?" he had heard this tale already from Nerra and from Ezas, both separately but now he wished to hear it from his spouse.

"Well, it's more they ran into me." as she turned and went over to several chairs, she then sat down as she indicated the chair across from her. "there was a plague outbreak. It was something in the water but we didn't know what it was... It was a mutated version of the Cardooine chills." she smiled. "Almar was immune so he spent time in the hospital assisting the issues. He was a major presence in the local town and he visited homestead, after homestead, bringing food and water to those who needed it." Jaina explained. "A Cardassian man who wanted and still wants nothing more than to help others."

"Wait, Almar was the Cardassian who went on the run with you?" Kenris inquired.

"He was. It took our relationship years to develop as he was in no rush and I wanted to adjust." she sighed. "Word came after the Dominion War that his entire family was all dead in the great burning. Corat came almost eight months after that time." she paused. "Our eldest child. Almar and I had been together by thirteen years by this point and I knew his mind well enough. Ulani came about two years later and before long, I had a new family to look after and our time together was a peaceful one."

Kenris knew he shouldn't judge as he had almost moved off after his wife's loss but he found that he had not been able to do so. "So where do I fit into this gigantic family we have together?"

"Wherever you wish. You are still my first husband." Jaina commented. "I had no idea that you or our children were alive.." Jaina added a moment later.

"He lied to you?" Kenris inquired of her.

"No," Jaina answered simply. "It was all a matter of public record. All of the Tienn's were slain at the hands of the Cardassian sixteenth infantry battalion. Those casualties were posted for all to see and read." she added. "Something about resisting arrest." Jaina smiled in a sardonic manner. "Oh, I already heard Ezas's side of that particular tale. What that Cardassian guard did to her and Kerris."

"How Nerra had to kill the guards in question," Kenris added. "How we had to go into hiding and the forty-two Bajoran farmers who were slain afterward." he nodded slowly. "I went into the resistance, all of the kids came with me." he sighed softly. "It was... A dark time for us all."

Jaina sighed softly. "Well. How the kids found me... Corat was down with the chills for the second time, he was the last of my children with Almar to come down with it and I knew I wasn't well myself. I had gotten word that Starfleet was involved, they had sent the USS Alaska and the USS Argonne to assist with the efforts to deal with the plague..." she explained. "Iteela was part of the first team. Kerris was helping the Sherrif and Nerra was working with the engineers... and it was chance and chance alone that permitted Iteela to find me..." she explained quietly.

Kenris smiled. "I heard about that tale. Your son didn't believe her, so Iteela had to prove who she was. I thought that part was downright hilarious."

"No. Corat thought she had come to steal me away," Jaina explained. "Corat was not happy about it. He calmed when Iteela explained herself."

Kenris chuckled ever so softly. "I heard that part too. I think Iteela took a little while to get over that." he paused. "I am sure the others are wondering where we'd gotten off to. what do you say we get back to the crowd and pay our respects..." he then grinned at her, "Besides, we can have time for ourselves later."

Jaina smiled. Yes, she had indeed missed her first husband. "I'd like that." and with that, she went back into the house proper with Kenris following in silence.
