Mission: Mission 118: The Christmas from Hell
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1600Hrs - December 21st, 2393

Lt Commander Kameron Solusar-Yamaguchi stood near the customs section while he waited for his brother. He knew that Marcus was on the ferryboat liner that had arived almost an hour ago but h also knew that Marcus was in no rush to get onto the Starbase. So he had gotten himself something to drink from a nearby replicator. Solusar-Yamaguchi smiled as he drank a mouthful of his milkshake.

Meanwhile. In customs. Marcus Solusar nodded as he proceeded towards the exit. He had been in no rush. Letting all of those who were in a rush go ahead of him so he could make his way onto the Starbase. He knew that Kameron would be waiting for him. He slung his bag over his shoulders before he went out of customs and into the main arrival area of the Starbase. Marcus smiled as he spotted his brother who was nearby.

Solusar approached before he gave his younger brother a hug. "Hey Kam."

"Lo Marcus. It's good to see you." Solusar-Yamaguchi grinned as he greeted his brother.

"Likewise. Where's Beth?" Solusar asked of his younger brother. He had wondered if Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar would also be present to greet him. "Is Beth alright?" he inquired further.

"She went into the office. She had some paperwork to deal with." Solusar-Yamaguchi answered with a smile. "Come on. let's get outta here."

Marcus followed his brother in silence. The two entered a turbolift. "Wow. noisy around here."

"The Starbase's starport is always a busy place." Solusar-Yamaguchi commented. "Vanguard has an engineering detail planetside building a full starport there. We're only getting it because the facilities planetside are not yet finished." Yamaguchi-Solusar commented. "I'm told it'll be finished within a couple of months." He commented with a smile. "Then it'll settle down around here."

Solusar paused. "That's something to know," he commented. "Where am I staying?"

"Well. I can get you a set of visiting quarters or you can stay with me. Be warned as you might run into mom and dad if you stay with me." Solusar-Yamaguchi explained as he regarded his brother.

The doors opened as both men emerged. "So. Who's this girl you got for me?" Solusar asked his younger brother.

Solusar-Yamaguchi smiled. "Her name is Kadian Paris. She has a great sense of humour. She's also hot as fuck. You can't go wrong with her." he commented.

"Really.?" Solusar answered. "Go on?" he inquired.

"She's also a genius. She's Vanguard's best research scientist. Beth has a good friendship with her. The two get along quite well." he explained. "But wait until you meet Galiaan Fordring." Solusar-Yamaguchi explained. "She's another one. Even if she's in her seventies with great-grandchildren." he slowly smiled. "She doesn't look it so don't let that fool you."

Solusar raised an eyebrow. "I had heard of her before. You've mentioned her before."

"Oh yeah," Solusar-Yamaguchi answered with a smile. "Well." he chuckled softly as he spoke. "Well. You'll finaly get to meet her. Try not to hit on her as she will want to bed you. She's a Vrykul so for her. Sex is just an activity that's meant to be enjoyed and not for love or making children." Solusar-Yamaguchi commented as an explination.

"Okay," Solusar answered. "Do you have any special rules I ought to know about?"

"No. Just use your head. No yelling at Robbie and be civil to everyone you meet." Solusar-Yamaguchi answered. "As I said. Mom and dad are present so expect them to show up at random times. Robbie has spent a lot of time with his grandparents. This is also both sides of the family recently." Solusar-Yamaguchi sighed softly as he decided to simply say it rather than fuck with the matter at hand. "A good number of Elizabeth's family are present too. So you'll be meeting her brother and sisters, as well as her parents. Be nice to them all."

"I am always nice to other people," Solusar answered. He smiled to show that he was joking.

"Unless you have cause not to," Solusar-Yamaguchi answered with a nod of his head. "Seriously though. They are good people and they have been a great help to Beth and I." he commented.

"Nice. It's always good when other family members are present so they can assist with matters of state." Solusar answered. "What about our family.?" he inquired further.

"Mom and dad only. Jason and the Undauntable have also been deployed into this region so he will also be present for the Christmas party which is happening in a few days. Arrangements are finished. Now we just need the proper people to arrive." Solusar-Yamaguchi slowly smiled. "Then I will point you towards Kadian and see how things go."

Solusar raised an eyebrow but he decided he needed an explanation. "Okay. What's so special about this Kadian person, you keep mentioning."

The two men had arived at the Solusar-Yamaguchi's quarters. He opened the door before he entered. "Come in. Make yourself at home."
