Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar watched as Jessica Solusar gently carried her son off down the hallway. She was babysitting for Kameron and Elizabeth. This was something that she did often these days, it was also something that allowed Kameron and Beth to sort out their problems.

Beth turned her head as she regarded her husband. He was wearing a pair of track pants and a simple shirt. He was also barefoot as he often did not wear footwear in the house. He regarded his spouse. "Hey, Beth. Mom take Robbie already?" he asked of her with a gentle smile.

"Yeah. You just missed her." Yamaguchi-Solusar answered her spouse. "She knew you were showering and changing." Yamaguchi-Solusar commented. "She left dinner right over there and she says she will be back in a few hours to say goodnight," she explained. She knew her husband wasn't avoiding his mother.

"Okay. I'll make sure I'm present so she doesn't think I'm avoiding her." Solusar-Yamaguchi answered with a smile.

"Thank you, Kam." Yamaguchi-Solusar commented. She gently sat down on the sofa, she groaned as she did so. "Just a little longer," she commented almost under her breath. She closed her eyes and took a moment to relax while she did so.

"Pregnancy issues getting you down?" Solusar-Yamaguchi inquired of his spouse. "Do you need some therapy?" he inquired. He thought it was only polite as she might not be in the mood. He found it best to never assume that his spouse wanted his attention at present. So he asked her first.

"I'm okay," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered before she slowly turned her head. "She's here," she added suddenly right before the doorbell beeped at the two of them.

Solusar-Yamaguchi regarded his spouse for two seconds before he went to answer the door. Standing there was Galiaan Fordring, she was wearing a pair of stuffed fur boots, a pair of jeans, a simple camisole top and a jogging top that completed the mix. "Hey," Fordring commented softly.

"Come on in Galiaan. I see you came prepared." he nodded to the medkit in her hand.

"I worry about your spouse." Fordring followed him into their home. "Lo Beth. You okay honey?" the older woman asked, concern colouring her tone of voice.

"I'm tired," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered softly. "It's been a long day," she added after a moment. "You don't think so?" she asked Fordring who came over to sit next to her in silence. "No. I don't Beth. I'm convinced that you've got more going on than the obvious." she paused. "You weren't this tired earlier."

"It's been a long pregnancy Galiaan. I've been watching it like a hawk since that stupid mass insanity event, back in July." Yamaguchi-Solusar answered, a trifle hotly.

"Galiaan. I can almost hear you thinking it." Solusar-Yamaguchi regarded the large woman as she picked up her medkit before she put it back down again.

"Kam. I'm convinced something is wrong with Elizabeth here." She paused. "Beth. I'd like to be the one to handle your prenatal exam in a few days. I'd like to give you a full physical as well as some tests at the same time."

Yamaguchi-Solusar sat back up as her eyes opened. "You think there is more going on than just this pregnancy?" she paused. "It'll also make it clear to everyone that you and I have resolved our issues. So no rumours will be able to make the rounds."

"I do," Fordring answered softly. "Beth. You are way too tired to be the end result of a romantic afternoon out with your husband on one of the holosuites. I was far more active than you were and I'm fine." Fordring paused. "But you were almost not active and you're exhausted," Fordring explained.

Solusar-Yamaguchi regarded the massive woman before him. She did have a point. He then said as much.

Yamaguchi-Solusar regarded Fordring in silence for a moment. "Okay, go ahead then. If you find something. We can discuss the matter at the prenatal exam rather than discuss it now." she paused. "I'll assume something is wrong and take the time to prepare myself for the bad news."

"Why wait?" Solusar-Yamaguchi asked of his spouse

Yamaguchi-Solusar regarded the larger female nearby. "Because it'll give Galiaan here, and Kadian, time to figure it out and come up with solutions. That's if Kadian is still on talking terms with me," she admitted. "My conduct-" was as far as she got before Fordring interrupted her. "Is understandable. She does understand, even if she dislikes it."

Yamaguchi-Solusar paused before she nodded. "Okay," she answered. "Run your scans Galiaan."

Fordring opened her tricorder before she went to work. She knew what she was looking for. Fordring knew what she had been told to do. "We will discuss the Christmas plans at another time, alright?" she smiled down at the other woman before her. She closed her tricorder. "I have all I need."
Fordring explained.

"Alright," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered, with a nod. "We won't discuss your findings now."

"Are you sure this is wise?" Fordring asked Yamaguchi-Solusar in a soft voice.

"No. But I do want you to go over it with Kadian, maybe the two of you can come up with something between you. The way I see it. I got the two sharpest minds in the sector, working on my issues. I can't lose."

"Alright. Then I'll take these to Kadian in the morning. Let's go over these plans now." Fordring then sat down next to the heavily pregnant woman as she began to outline her plans for the Christmas party.
