Suvak Duval regarded the black screen as Tienn Halaar slipped off of the man's lap. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten involved," she admitted quietly. She looked more confused than anything else but she wanted to be sure.

"Don't be," Suvak answered with a gentle smile. "I didn't expect Anthony to listen to reason. He didn't expect to hear from me." he paused. "You were in the room and I didn't feel so... Outnumbered. But he's right though. This issue needs to die... It dies today." he commented with a smile.

Tienn sat down in the chair next to Suvak where she had been sitting earlier. He gently tapped his combadge as he decided that he needed to speak with Captain T'Nae Duval first. He called the com centre and then stuck in the request. His mother was Vulcan so he did not expect her to understand or share the emotional context of the issues but he had not spoken with her in quite some time.

The display lit up as a Vulcan woman appeared on the screen. A smile appeared on her face. "Suvak." she addressed the man before her. "It's good to see you son. Did Anthony talk to you?. What can I do for you?" she then turned to the Bajoran woman sitting next to her son. "Who are you?" she inquired in a gentle, curious tone of voice.

Tienn smiled as she was expecting it this time. "I am Tienn Halaar. Suvak and I are friends," she commented.

"Nice," T'Nae answered. "I am T'Nae Duval. Suvak's mother," she commented. "What can I do for you two?" This might be polite but then again. It might not be and she wished to separate fact from fiction.

"I wanted to apologize, mother," Suvak answered. "For my disturbing lack of emotional control and my behaviour since then," he explained why he was calling her now. Since he wasn't sure of how to word it with an explanation. He decided to come out and apologize first for the matter and then explain himself if it should be required.

"I accept your apology, my son," T'Nae answered quietly. "I had not expected you to contact me to offer it so easily. Did you and Anthony speak?" the Vulcan woman inquired in her usual gentle, dulcet tones.

"No," Suvak answered. "Halaar and I spoke." he indicated to the Bajoran woman next to him. "She explained the futility of rash emotions in decision making." The young Vulcan male answered. "Halaar and I agreed that I needed to resolve this issue before things got further out of hand.

"Indeed?" T'Nae regarded the Bajoran. "I thank you, Ms Tienn, for your services to my family." as the Vulcan woman gently bowed her head to the younger woman.

"Of course ma'am," Tienn answered softly. "If I can help your family avoid the issue that destroyed mine then I will do it," she explained. "My father threw my elder sister out of the house. She had a child out of wedlock with a Klingon. I supported my sibling. For these efforts, I am banished too." Tienn then shrugged. "It makes no difference to me on the matter."

"I am sorry for your struggles Halaar," T'Nae answered gently. "If I can help, please do not hesitate to call upon me."

"I will consider it ma'am," Tienn answered, a gentle smile on her lips.

T'Nae nodded her head in silence. "Suvak. What will you do now.?"

"I will call dad and see if he is willing to listen to me. I owe him an apology as well." Suvak answered. "Then I will go and enjoy my time off. Maybe I'll find some female companionship for tonight. I don't know yet. I'll make that decision later." he commented. "What of you?"

"I will carry on as best as I can." as the Vulcan woman then smiled. "You're youngest siblings are demanding of me. Which is how I prefer it," she added.

"Fair enough mother. I will leave you so you can tend to matters of state." Suvak answered. "Farewell." and with that. The two ended the chat.

Tienn regarded the man before her. "I can spend the night. If you are interested."

"Oh." Duval paused. "Yes... I am," he answered quietly. "Don't worry. I don't snore," he added with a gentle smile.

"Oh." Tienn suddenly grinned at him. "I'm not interested in sleep. I want to know how you are in bed." she decided to be blunt on the matter.

"Very well. It has been quite some time so we will find out together." Suvak answered with a gentle smile on his lips. "Don't worry. I will be gentle."

"Good," Tienn answered. "It's not that I don't want some rough sex. But we're only just moving into the polite stage and I want to know you first."
she explained.

"Thats fine with me," Duval answered with a nod of his head. "Now I need to contact dad. He is on the planet below." as he began to mentally prepare for the battle to come.
