| General Overview | T'Nae is rather unusual because she had her control stripped from her thanks to a Terran named Amar Singh. she's something of an outcast as a result because she was forced to embrace her emotions for balance rather then repress them the way the average Vulcan does. She is curvy and has a willowy frame. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | T'Nae is emotional which is odd for a Vulcan, but she is also rather analytically and practical, because her emotional control was stripped from her, she no longer has the Vulcan's reserve so this is both a strength and a weakness. T'Nae is also very easy to get along with and reason with, she doesn't have the usual Vulcan arrogance, which many would see as a strength all her own. |

| Personal History | T'Nae was born the only child of Sorak and T'Kessra, both of them were Civilian Scientists and never once did they ever consider entering Starfleet as T'Nae's childhood was steeped in Vulcan traditions and beliefs. She considered the Vulcan science academy or Starfleet Academy for her two career choices and rather then follow in her parent's footsteps, she decided to give Starfleet a try, a few of her friends had already gone before it, they had argued the logic of trying new things and leaving Vulcan to do so. T'Nae joined Starfleet at age seventeen, with the blessing and approval of her parents she departed Vulcan, it would be many years before she would return. She left in 2345 and wouldn't return until 2366, just after the first Borg attack in the Wolf System. T'Nae went through the academy, not really having any serious problems as she tended to get along with few and she kept to herself, she graduated with honors and was given the assignment of her choice. She requested the USS Allegiance, one of the older Ambassador class ships, she relished the assignment and she was stationed here for about four years or so, she then went through a succession of assignments which saw her gain a great deal of experience. USS Alexander the Great, USS Collingwood and USS Colossus were three of the various ships she was assigned to but her real true test of courage came when she was assigned to the USS Cheyenne while she was out patrolling the Bassen Rift when she was separated from her away team and kidnapped. A Human augment wanted to see what a Vulcan woman could endure so he decided to experiment on her, to this day she refuses to speak of what she had endured but it was known that she was abused and raped, trying to get her to talk about it is generally not a wise idea. She was recovered a week or so later from a damaged Freighter, her case was not unique as this augment named Amir Singh was being a general Pain in Starfleet's ass. The Crew of the Cheyenne spent the next year hunting down and eventually capturing Amir Singh, he served thirty years before escaping in an escape attempt in mid 2392 and has not been seen since. Her next posting would be her most dangerous and hazardous, but also the most rewarding, she would have her home shot out from under her and it was here at Wolf Three Five Nine where she would meet her future husband. She decided to get to know him and his two eleven-year-old boys as she followed him over to the Enterprise and in 2368, their eldest was born, twin girls named T'Lee and T'Kera, followed two years later by their eldest son, Suvek. T'Nae simply claimed Duval's twin boys as her own should they wish it, the twins were fascinated with this Vulcan woman their father was dating, and soon married. When the Enterprise was destroyed in 2371, T'Nae regarded it as the end of an era for the Federation and a time when warfare would define many of the new officers coming up the ranks, she was prophetic in her choice of words as she was assigned to Fort Alexander as their Chief Science Officer. All of the children went with her as they would be safer with mom rather then dad. It was here at New Leningrad on Alpha Centauri that both of the two boys she had taken in became adults and they departed to join Starfleet but not taking the time to make sure she knew exactly how moth men thought of her, their farewell was simple but poignant. Both men told her that she took two lost children and made men out of them. T'Nae was touched by this and she wished both men well on their travels. Due to the rising tide of blood and iron against the Federations various enemies, T'Nae found herself being requested for one of a half-dozen assignments including a Sovereign and two Galaxy Class ships which wanted her for various billets. Before she could decide, there was a terrorist attack on Fort Alexander, it was this incident that made up her mind for her, she switched from Science to Command and it was here where she developed a taste for responsibility, as she was busy raising three very intelligent children and the war with the Dominion was looking ever more possible. Then came the second attack by the Borg of which she could do nothing to help the outcome of the battle or the survival of her husband and then later that year, the inevitable war with the Dominion broke out. She served here all through the war as she commanded the base well, she remained here long after too while the Federation rebuilt, she was eventually offered a posting as Chief Science Officer aboard the brand new USS Shield of Vega, a Galaxy Class starship refitted with the lessons of the Dominion War in mind. However, she had to take a demotion to Commander for the posting. in 2384, Commander James McTaggart was promoted to command a new ship and T'Nae was offered a promotion to Executive Officer, something she accepted and she has remained here. In early 2390, the Captain of the USS Shield of Vega was promoted and T'Nae was asked to consider the command of the USS Shield of Vega, for her the choice was a simple one and she accepted, being promoted to Captain and command of her ship. She retains her command even after having given birth to the twins and now she raises them alongside her own command. She wants her husband to look after them for a time, so she can have a break and take some time to herself. Now that she has managed to get her husband to look after the kids, she somehow inherited four Serval cats which she named for four of Earth's more interesting military leaders. |
