Fordring gently held onto his wife as he led the way down the hallway. Chen Vaxx assisting as he held Galiaan's other arm as she was simple deadweight. She was unconscious due to passing out due to alcohol intake but getting her home was proving to be an exhausting affair. "You okay Chen?" Fordring asked the male Bolian who had been assisting Fordring carry his wife between them both.
"I'm alright. I forgot how dense Galiaan was..." Vaxx commented. "Her body. I mean," he added as if to address the error in his response. One could argue his statement was an insult to the female between the two men.
Fordring understood what the Bolian was saying. Most people could not carry a Vrykul without some sort of heavy-lift gear, this was due to their size and mass. They were often dismissed as being oversized humans, as they were much larger than humans but it was due to their density that they generally tended to stand out. They had a skeletal density that was several times what humans had and what muscles they had were just as powerful to withstand such weight. All of this was due to the sheer abundance of the titanium on Vrykul Prime in various forms. The natives had simply evolved to utilize in their skeletal and musculature structures. This made them massively dense and exceptionally physically strong. The natives were also mentally formidable to counter these physical traits. All of this meant that Galiaan Fordring and all of the other Vrykul's in Starfleet service were made exceptionally tough and resilient. However, they were also surprisingly gentle at times as they could create children with other species like humans.
Fordring smiled as they reached his home. "We're here guys," he commented as if he was reading the news rather than trying to help with carrying his spouse who weighed in at a third of a metric ton.
Dvald-Vaxx opened the door and led the way into Fordrings home, it was a home that was furnished with ultra-dense and tough furniture. Everything looked large, bulky and heavy. The small Bolian knew it had to be, it had to withstand the mass and force of the Vrykul family living here. She wanted to make sure the kids were out of the way as she did not want them seeing their mother like this. Also, she wanted them out from underfoot.
"I'll take her from here guys." Fordring gently plucked his wife from Vaxx as if she weighed nothing and he carried his drunken spouse into the bedroom in silence.
Vaxx sighed as he wished that he had that level of physical strength. To be able to lift almost a thousand pounds of weight was an amazing feat but Fordring could pick up his spouse and carry her as if she weighed nothing was a level of physical prowess that impressed the two Bolians.
Chen was the first to speak. "Wow, that was quite the workout," he commented as Fordring emerged from the bedroom a moment later. "How is she?" Dvald-Vaxx asked softly.
"She's still asleep... So I'll let her sleep off the booze." Fordring commented quietly as if trying not to bother someone else. "Do either of you know what happened to bring on my spouse getting blitzed with Thungwine?." he asked. His tone indicated that this was something very strange for his spouse to be doing, especally doing it alone.
Both of the Bolians answered with a no. Chen Vaxx was more mystified than either his spouse or Fordring as he had no idea that Galiaan even drank at all. Dvald-Vaxx knew that it was something serious. Whatever it was had seriously pissed her off to cause this. "If you don't mind... I'd like to drop by in the morning." the small Bolian paused. "I'll bring my medkit too... I wanna talk to her. See if I can find out what's bothering her."
"Sure. But make sure it's after oh eight hundred though... So I can get the kids off to daycare." Fordring answered.
Dvald-Vaxx smiled. "Sounds good to me. I will also inform medical that due to an unforeseen issue. She will be taking tomorrow off from her assignment." as she small-framed Female Boilian suddenly grinned. "I doubt my sibling will complain overly."
"Thank you," Fordring answered with a smile. "Also. Thanks for your help in bringing her home." he looked between the two Bolians before him. "What do I owe you for this?"
"Your usual," Dvald-Vaxx answered with a smile. "Your tolerance for my insanity. My strange requests when I have them and the like."
"That's easily done." Fordring smiled. "But you two should get back to your evening... I'll watch her and again. Thanks for bringing her home."
Dvald-Vaxx nodded before she led her husband out the door and down the hallway. Both walked in silence. "Did any of that seem odd to you?" Vaxx asked his spouse.
"What part didn't seem odd?" Dvald-Vaxx answered back in a quiet tone of voice. "Chen... I'm worried... This is not like Galiaan Fordring at all..." she sighed softly.
"Kross... I didn't even know she ever drank." Chen answered as he regarded his spouse. "Shall we head out to dinner or... head home for dinner?"
"No. We're still going to have our evening." Dvald-Vaxx grinned up at her husband. "Let's head on home... That way I can have you to myself." as her grin widened. "What?"
"I wasn't expecting you to say it like that..." Chen answered, a smile on his face. "Besides... I'm concerned for my spouse. I know she's been overworked and underappreciated recently... Fortunately. I have a cure for that issue..."
"Is this a wise plan?" Dvald-Vaxx inquired, while she walked beside her husband down the hallway.
"No... So I will need to be gentle with my spouse. I do not need to cause her further issues while I have my way with her."
"Mmmm..." Dvald-Vaxx smiled. "I promise not to squirm too much."
"Good... I'll wine you and then dine you and then bed you..." Chen grinned as he looked down at his spouse. "Besides. We're both up in the morning and it's gonna be a very busy day." Chen gently took his wife's hand as the two resumed their walk towards their home.
