Rabb shook his head as he sighed. "Alright, call this one done and I'll call the Heart of the Tiger back and let them know the issue has been dealt with and resolved," he explained evenly.
"We had no case to stand on Harm. Rachael was never going to press for charges, you saw how she acted and what was said." Gyce explained. "I knew Rachael's mind and her heart, she was never going to press..."
"I did," Rabb answered with a smile. "If only all my cases were resolved so easily," he added. "I have a feeling that mister Harrison will want to see Ms. Yamaguchi-Cullen and try and resolve their issues between them both."
"Rachael will want to do so, yes. She is not the type to shy away from anything." Gyce responded with a gentle smile on her lips.
Meanwhile, Commander Fardreamer regarded Paul Harrison with a smile. "So what happened Ensign..?" he inquired.
Harrison regarded Fardreamer in silence for a moment. "I was wanted for stat-rape. Except my apparent victim didn't even know that she had been stat-raped, considering she enjoyed the sex more then I did," he explained before he huffed a sigh.
"Sounds like really stupid happened. Shael called me to tell me you'd been hauled away in chains. Maybe I should the story from the start?" Fardreamer inquired in a gentle tone of voice. "Don't worry, you're not in trouble with me or anyone else... I ask only because someone else might start shit and I want to be able to keep you out of it if it comes down to it." Fardreamer explained with a smile.
"Well Saki, that's my daughter's name by the way..." Harrison paused a moment. "It feels weird though. Claiming her as my own but according to Captain Rabb. I have a ten-year-old daughter that I had with Rachael Yamaguchi-Cullen. Had I know that she was pregnant with my child, I would have made arrangements for her. But I had no idea... But she considers Saki a gift and I threw it away." Harrison sighed softly. "Oh, it gets worse Commander... As Saki actually tried contacting me about fourteen months ago while I was at the academy and... I told her to not contact me ever again, thinking the entire thing was a prank... I mean this nine-year-old child calls me up out of the blue and claims to be my daughter... What was I supposed to think?" Harrison sighed. "I fucked up hard."
Fardreamer nodded. "I can see your point of view," he commented. "Don't you think that maybe you overreacted?" he regarded the younger man with a somber look in his eye as he did so.
"No. Not at the time anyway... But looking back, I was being an arrogant fool" he answered with a sigh. "Rachael tore me a new one for it, though. I was hoping to be reunited with her someday, not today and not like this." Harrison paused. "I think I'd ruined my relationship with her," Harrison explained in a quiet tone of voice.
"When was the last time you saw her?" Fardreamer inquired.
"When we were together on Starbase Four Hundred. About two weeks after she and I had..." he paused. "When she became pregnant with Saki." Harrison paused a moment. "Its been about three years or so now." he regarded Fardreamer as he spoke. "It feels like such a lifetime ago now."
"I'll believe it," Fardreamer answered with a nod as a young woman came around the corner, she turned as she noticed the two men before her. "Commander." she addressed Fardreamer with a nod. "Can Paul Harrison be spared?" Yamaguchi-Cullen inquired.
Fardreamer regarded the smaller female before him. "He can be," he responded in a light tone of voice. "Paul, why don't you take today off and reflect on these events, maybe you will learn something from them," he added. "Lieutenant." he addressed Yamaguchi-Cullen before he turned and departed in silence.
Harrison turned to regard Yamaguchi-Cullen with a cool look in his eyes. "We should talk." he knew that running from the matter would not help either of them.
"Yes, we should," Yamaguchi-Cullen answered quietly. "Let's go for a walk," she added.
Harrison turned and began moving down the hallway towards nowhere as Yamaguchi-Cullen quickly fell into step beside him. "This was not how I wished to be reunited with you." Harrison started in a quiet tone of voice. "Had I known you were pregnant, I would have made arrangements for you."
"I didn't know where you were. I had assumed you had moved on, as I had." Yamaguchi-Cullen answered in a quiet tone of voice. "Saki is presently off on the USS Heart of the Tiger, along with her siblings and my husband," she added by way of explanation.
"Husband... I'm sorry, I had no idea you were married." Harrison responded evenly.
"It is fine. We've been together married for about a year now and we have two children of our own. Named Olivia and Anthony." Yamaguchi-Cullen explained. "A lots happened to me since you and I were together that one night," she added. "I never expected to see you again, especially not after that temporal anomaly and raising Saki."
"Tell me about her," Harrison commented in a quiet tone of voice. "What's she like?"
"Saki is unique. She spent most of her life in a feral environment so she and I became extremely close, she knows how I think as she's entering her time of bloom, she tends to take on what I say before anyone else does so she's spending time with the man she calls dad so she can learn how to be independent of me." Yamaguchi-Cullen explained evenly. "She doesn't have the best social graces but she is an expert with various weapons, enough to give her martial arts instructors a run for their money, she's quick and agile and she loves the martial sciences."
"Good. She has you for her mother." Harrison sighed. "I'm Sorry for all this Rachael."
"It's not your fault, I didn't know how things would have gone and I doubt you did either," Yamaguchi-Cullen answered quietly. "I do need to have a word with my husband and find out why all this happened. "
"I understand," Harrison answered with a nod. "I hope... we ummm can be friends."
"You have committed no offense to me or mine, I'd like that Paul. We were lovers once, we can still be friends." Yamaguchi-Cullen smiled warmly at him before they gently shared a hug and then they separated, going their separate ways.
