Mission: Mission 114: Be All My Sins Remember'd
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1340Hrs - October 29th, 2393

Division Admiral Thomas Lasky regarded Commander Victoria 'Enyo' Yamaguchi who was sitting across from him. "How are your children settling in?" he knew that her children were, in fact, full adults who required no attention or care from their mother but then these two were not the average. They had both endured a substantial amount of physical and mental abuse recently. Lasky knew that Benjamin or Ethelyn was not in any shape to accompany their mother on this assignment and that they would be parted. This would slow their mental and physical recovery from recent events and while he didn't wish to do it, he knew this needed to be taken care of by his best. That was the woman sitting before him now. Lasky, Victoria and Celeste had all made special arrangements for Ben and Ethelyn. Celeste Yamaguchi-Hobbs would take in Victoria's children to help with their recovery. Hopefully, she could connect with the two.

"Ben and Ethelyn are settling in well. They find it confusing... The differences between the two universes... and to top things off... They have a concern with you... Except Ben doesn't think your really you and Ethelyn thinks its all one big sick joke." Yamaguchi explained. "Other than that. Ben is hitting the gym and trying to recover what he lost were as Ethelyn is happy to have a full nights sleep without some guard wanting her affections."

Lasky regarded the other woman in silence for a moment. "I am not sure I could be so casual about it... If it were my daughter..." Lasky said quietly, thinking of his infant daughter who he had named for the woman who should have been his apprentice. Rachael Yamaguchi-Cullen. She had been moved and honoured with his request. Lasky paused. "Hmm... anyway... I apologize for separating you from them..."

"Its fine Admiral. I understand my duty. So will they... Once I explain this matter to them, of course... Except for the black parts of course." Yamaguchi added.

"Very well. If they need help with things, let them know that I will be available for things, should they require it..."

"I'll let them know," Yamaguchi answered. She left out that the rest of her super gigantic massive behemoth family was also present and they were already assisting with matters on an as-needed basis. "The rest of my kin are assisting as well. But I hope my two will appreciate it."

"Have you met Rob yet?" Lasky commented quietly. He was aware of the relationship issues between Celeste Yamaguchi-Hobbs and Robert Connor and he was wondering if Victoria's presence could resolve them.

"No," Yamaguchi admitted. "Not yet. I mean I know he exists and... While I have been wanting to meet him... Things keep getting in the way..." Yamaguchi slowly smiled. "I wonder what sort of a man he will be... Will he be restrained?. Or will he want tp pin me and have his way with me?" she inquired. "Considering what happened between him and Celeste. She was unprepared for what happened between them... I wonder what he will be like with me..." as she suddenly smiled. "Well, I've not had a good shag for a long time. I am hoping he will be demanding on me..."

"Well... With a little luck and good fortune. You'll get to find out soon enough." Lasky answered with a gentle smile on his lips. "Do you have any questions before I send you on your way?"

"Only my rules of engagement. How much force am I permitted to use?" Yamaguchi asked softly.

From anyone else. This question might have sounded absurd but the woman before Lasky was not the average woman. "Use your own discretion but try to go unseen... If you have to fight to get to your objective then only use what you need to disable people... Try not to kill them... But if you can't avoid it then... I'll understand. I won't like it but I will understand." she paused a moment. "I assume I have leave to select whom I will?" Yamaguchi asked gently.

Lasky paused a moment before he nodded his head. "You do. You are free to select whom you will for this assignment. But make sure they are aware that they are to speak of this assignment to nobody."

"Yessir. I'd best get going then." Yamaguchi answered with a gentle smile.

"Yeah Victoria. I wish you luck on your mission... But do me one favour?"

"Of course sir?" Yamaguchi turned to regard Lasky as she knew he was about to say something profound.

Lasky regarded her with a smile. "I cannot tell what you and other men think of this life; but, for my single self, I had as lief not be as live to be in awe of such a thing as I myself." he commented." Victoria.... I'll ask that you come back alive..."

Yamaguchi nodded as she smiled. "That I will do. Starfleet kept the faith with me and they gave me what I most wanted in this life and the next... My children back... The least I can do is not die on them now." her smile widened. "Sound trumpets! let our bloody colours wave!
And either victory or else a grave." she added.

"Excellent, then I will keep you no longer," Lasky answered. "Off with you then." and with that, the meeting was concluded.
