The Sorrows of Night - Part Two

Mission: Mission 111: The Sorrows of Night
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0700Hrs - October 24th, 2393

Lt Commander Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar blinked as her alarm clock went off, she sighed as she tried to sit up but she simply couldn't. "Uhh... Fuck, here we go again?" she groaned softly while she made a second effort to haul herself to a sitting position. This one was more successful as she sat up. "Fuck, I hate this endless crap..."

Meanwhile her bedmate, spouse, and father to their children. Lt Commander Kameron "Foehammer" Solusar-Yamaguchi regarded his spouse as he felt rested but he knew that his spouse wasn't. He was concerned and it showed. "Beth... I'm really worried..."

"I know Kam." Elizabeth knew her husband was right, and she had already considered her approach to the issue before them both. "I'll ask Galiaan to give me the once but... But you know she'll do it anyway when she sees me..."

Kameron gently slid an arm around his spouse's shoulder, Elizabeth placed her hand over his as he gently held her against him. "We'll get through this... Do you want me to ask for some time off?. I have a feeling that Doctor Fordring might sideline you."

"I'm actually hoping she does... I'll ask her about it. But you know Galiaan Fordring... Especially when it comes to the matters of babies and children..."

"Indeed I do..." Kameron answered, a gentle smile on his lips. "Leave Robert with me... I'll handle him... You go take care of yourself." and with that, he stood up and went into the bathroom. Elizabeth remained sitting up as she mentally prepared herself for the trials of the morning that were certain to try her patience and her endurance.

Kameron came back a few minutes later. "Bathrooms all your hon," he commented as he knew that Elizabeth liked to shower alone in the mornings, Kam and Elizabeth would often share a shower in the morning but all too often, either one of them or they both would end up being late for their duty assignment.

"Thanks, Kam." and with that, Elizabeth stood up as she groaned softly. "I need more sleep..." she paused as she let out a soft sigh. She then moved into the bathroom as Kameron began donning a fresh uniform before he would go and tend to his one-year-old child who was being watched over by the holonanny, mostly so mom and dad could get some sleep. Elizabeth missed being able to have sex first thing in the morning, she found it was therapeutic but both she and Kam knew it caused issues for both of them.

Elizabeth relieved herself in silence before she stepped into the shower. She turned on the water and proceeded to lather up, before she washed herself down, which was her usual morning routine. She turned off the water, stepped out, and began drying off with a large towel, she moved into the bedroom where she began donning her clothing, she slipped on her usual underwear before her uniform. Elizabeth was a lot larger then the average female, she had also taller and more physically imposing than most. She was still able to wear her normal duty uniform rather than switch to the maternity uniform that most needed.

She slipped on her undershirt followed with a skirt that came to just above her knees, and then her uniform top, she took a moment to make herself comfortable while wearing the uniform as she did not need to feel uncomfortable, she was still able to do her job but she as exhausted, she wasn't dying of her issues. She then reached down and tugged on her boots, one at a time.

Elizabeth was interrupted by a whistle. "You look hot..." Kameron smiled as he admired his wife, while she was bent over, pulling on her boots, she pulled on her second boot before she straightened up before she turned and gave him a wry smile mixed with a glare. "Stop staring at my ass..."

"But you love it..." Kameron answered. "You have such a nice ass too..."

"Don't tease me..." Elizabeth answered with a smile as she came over to her husband. "I don't recall if you've ever bedded me while in uniform."

"There is always a first time... If you're up for it." Kameron grinned at her.

"Mmmm... Tempting... What I'm only tired, not dead..." as Elizabeth yawned. "Mmmm... Sorry."

Kam gently kissed his wife on the lips. "It's alright... Now before you head off to work, come make nice with your child... He misses you." he commented, a wide grin on his lips. Elizabeth mentally checked herself as she looked at herself in the floor-length mirror, asides from the growing bulge about her waist, she looked every inch the consummate Starfleet officer. Kam smiled as he gently hugged his wife. "I'm going to enjoy having you in uniform later," he whispered into her ear.

Elizabeth's eyes went wide, Kam seldom hit on her, especially so blatantly and it was telling that he did so now, but she knew why he did so. She smiled. "Don't make a girl a promise... If you can't keep it."

"Fair enough..." Kam answered with a gentle smile. "Anyway, go see your son, he wants his mommy."

"Okay." and with that, Elizabeth departed from the bedroom, to do exactly that.
