Mission: Mission 106: Restitutions and Resolutions
Location: Various Locations - Utgarde IV
Timeline: 0700Hrs - October 24th, 2393

T'Sara McKnight was now wearing a change of civilian clothing as she regarded the remnants of her breakfast, she was due to be released shortly and she had to admit that she hated medical centers with her usual passion, these people were at least semi-competent and were not willing to do anything stupid to her. She wondered how Karass was fitting in in regards to being stranded in this reality. She knew she would get the answer to this question and several others shortly.

Meanwhile outside the Medcenter. Sitting on a park bench near the entrance, Orthos yawned softly, he blinked as he was tired, staying up all night covering for his relief had been draining and exhausting in various ways but at least the man's wife who was pregnant was going to be alright. That by itself had made the nights work worth it. Now he was waiting on Daisy who had said she had wanted to bring the kids with her to see their grandmother. Orthos didn't mind as he wanted his kids to bond with their grandmother.

Orthos turned his head as he spotted a familiar shuttle land in the nearby parking lot, a moment went by before Daisy emerged. Orthos remained motionless as he waited, opting to not make a scene, but fortunately the parking lot as all but empty so their greeting could be almost uninterrupted. He moved over to her and their young children. "Hey, Daisy, how are things?" as he greeted his spouse who was younger than many of his children.

"We're doing very well." Daisy smiled at Orthos as she held the younger T'Sara and had Edward in tow. "Hopefully, your mother is doing well after her ordeal. The kids want to see their grandmother."

Orthos had a rather strange look on his face as he regarded his spouse. "Okay..." he answered, but he was clearly uncomfortable with it. "Let's go see mom then."

Daisy noticed the odd look on Orthos' face. "Is there anything wrong, Orthos?"

"I dunno," Orthos answered quietly. but he knew he needed to at least explain something to his spouse otherwise it would cause more issues. "It's just that... I hate these surprises appearances my mother does..." he paused. "Shall we go see her?"

"Yeah, I'm sure T'Sara will be glad to see you and the kids," Daisy replied as she entered the hospital.

Orthos regarded his spouse as he fell into step beside her. "Let's hope so," he commented quietly. Edward followed his mother in silence while T'Sara seemed to be happy in her mother's arms. "Do you want me to hold her for a while?" he asked.

"Yes, please." Daisy smiled as she handed the baby to Orthos.

Orthos gently accepted T'Sara who was instantly overjoyed to see her father before the two moved over to the front desk. "Morning... We're here to see a Ms. T'Sara McKnight... Is she up and about?"

"Ahh, good morning...I'll have to check with the Doctor... Could I get your names please?" the young woman behind the desk inquired.

"I'm Orthos McKnight and this is my wife, Daisy Rohr-McKnight. T'Sara is my mother." Orthos explained why he was standing here on this interesting morning.

The young woman smiled. "Alright. Let me page the Doctor for you." as she went about it. "He'll be right up." as she said it, the door behind her opened, and out came a young man who wore a lab coat. "Hello... What can I do for you?"

Orthos regarded the man. "I'm here to see T'Sara McKnight."

"Ahh... She's expecting you. If you'd come with me, I can take you to her."

Orthos smiled. "What's going on with her Doctor?"

"Mostly just the usual, a Vulcan experiencing hypothermia but... There were a few issues we couldn't account for."

Orthos raised an eyebrow as he looked at his wife. "What kind of issues?"

"I thought she was alright? Will she be able to come home with us?" Daisy asked.

"It's not that." The Doctor answered evenly. "Just there are some old wounds that looked like that either never healed right or were not really treated... There are also indications that she had been tortured as well."

"Torture?" Orthos asked. He frowned as he mulled it over. "Let's have this chat without the kids present." he paused as Orthos was his mothers next of kin now that his father was dead, he knew that he would need to deal with this and Daisy wasn't next of kin. "I'll take Edward and T'Sara with me and we can go sit in the waiting area..." Daisy commented as she gave Orthos a look.

Orthos knew the look well, while he watched Daisy take the kids into the hall before addressing the doctor. "Let's go sit down in your office..." he commented before the two men did exactly that, a few moments later. "I'm not sure why T'Sara would have been tortured. Did she explain anything to you, Doctor?" Orthos inquired.

"She was oddly evasive." the Doctor answered. "Is your spouse alright?" he indicated Daisy who was retreating to the waiting area with the kids in hand.

"She's fine. Daisy knows I need to tend to this matter, even if I have problems understanding my mother sometimes. Can I see her?" Orthos asked.

"Oh... Of course." the Doctor answered. "Right this way." and with that, he led Orthos to a door. "Shes inside but please be gentle with her, she's just recovered from a terrible ordeal so she might not be the best." and with that, he knocked on the door. "Enter." came a female voice from within.

Orthos slowly entered the room. "Hello, mom. I heard you had something of an ordeal?"

T'Sara regarded her son in silence as she considered what she wanted to say. "Hello..." she answered. "I wasn't expecting the blizzard..." she admitted. "I apologize for the inconvenience."

Orthos raised an eyebrow at T'Sara's words. "You're not an inconvenience. Daisy is out in the hall with the kids. If you're up to it, we'll take you home."

"Sounds good to me," T'Sara answered. "So... How are you doing these days?" she asked, but she sounded uncertain.

"Oh, we are doing well. Edward is making friends at school and T'Sara wants to see her grandma." Orthos commented to his mother.

"Nice." T'Sara stood up, so far she was not about to be abused by anyone which was something she had been expecting. "Shall we go?" she asked of her son. He wasn't sure of this was István or not but for now, she would play it cool.

Daisy was keeping the kids busy. Edward was chomping at the bit to see his grandmother.

"Oh, hello T'Sara. The kids are waiting to see you." Daisy smiled, unaware she as talking to an impostor.

T'Sara blinked, this was an unexpected complication, she had no idea of who this woman was, or who these children were. "They have?" she asked.

Orthos narrowed his eyes, he noticed that something was off. "Let's get outta here..." as he made a mental note to check a few details, he wanted to be sure that he was only being paranoid.

T'Sara smiled. "Yes. I think I've had enough of this place... Shall we go?"

"I'm not sure if we are allowed to depart. I will need to check with the doctor. I'll be back shortly." he commented to T'Sara who nodded.

Orthos turned and departed the small recovery room, he narrowed his eyes as he turned his head. He nodded to Daisy. "I'll be right back..." Before Orthos moved off, heading to find the Doctor he had spoken with earlier. "Doctor... Before we depart, is there any chance we could we go over the other medical inconsistencies you found?" he asked of the other man.

"Of course. Let's discuss them in my office." the man answered, before Orthos was led back into the Doctors officer, the two men sat down as Orthos regarded him. "Go on with what you were saying?"

"Your mother's medical records are inconsistent with what I have found..." the man picked up a PADD and offered it to Orthos. "That's a full list... But, I have no idea if you have any medical training..." The Doctor commented evenly.

"Mostly the usual Starfleet medical courses, also a course with female pregnancies, their issues and the like, I also had one with prenatal care and neonatal care... Considering the number of children I've had, it seemed logical I might need extra medical knowledge." Orthos explained. "It was because my first spouse had some medical concerns with our first child... I decided to expand my knowledge on the subject for her benefit, I assist Daisy with these issues as well." he explained at length.

"Fair enough, if only more did that, it would save us Doctors and medics a lot of stress..." the Doctor answered with a nod of his head. "I see no reason why she can't leave... So I'll permit her to leave with you but I must emphasis that she rest, she's a Vulcan woman who nearly froze to death... She needs more or less to spend time in a warm environment..."

"Thats already being taken care of, Thank you Doctor." and with that, he returned to Daisy. "We can take her home now.

Edward cheered as T'Sara smiled, she had little idea of what was going on but she was off to see grandma.
