Posted on Fri Sep 10th, 2021 @ 1:33pm by Aiden Torel & Brigadier General Krann, Son of Magh'tor

Mission: Mission 110: Blue on Blue
Location: Various Locations - USS Queen Mary
Timeline: 0530Hrs - October 25th, 2393

Commander James Munroe knew his skipper and the majority of his crew were guilty of treason, he was likewise tainted and cursed with the efforts of said events, his ship's name was tainted and would be used as a cautionary word for treason, he had been recording a log of these events under a command lockout, and when the time was right, he would reveal all that he had heard and known, all of which he had placed into his log. Recent events had only made him more disillusioned with Starfleet then ever before.

'Admiral Michael Briggs was worse than a criminal, he was a traitor.' Monroe thought to himself as he checked the display before him, he had been on duty all night and it was really tired, but he needed to ensure the repairs proceeded properly. Captain Torel needed this ship in tip-top shape for the next stage of his plans and this had been impressed upon Monroe during yesterday's meeting.

Monroe had not slept well since Torel had gone rogue from the Federation or with what had happened with the Klingon Colony, who's people were being kept in four cargo bays as prisoners, their rights denied and their plight of freedom was ignored. What Monroe did not know or hear was that the nearby Jeffress tube hatch slowly came off of the wall as a slender-looking Klingon female emerged. She glanced around quickly before she placed the cover back onto the wall.

Otrollo noticed that nobody was present, as Monrose rose to his feet and went around the corner, he then crashed into this young woman, he didn't know who this woman was and he was taken completely surprised when she suddenly lashed out at him, she caught him before he fell. "Be silent, be still... and I won't hurt you."

Monroe was tired and he decided to do as he was told. "What do you want?" as she gently took off his combadge and slid it into one of her pockets. "Where is your office?" Otrollo demanded. "Back that way," he answered and she proceeded to haul him into his office, before locking the door behind her.

Monroe found himself sitting in a chair as this Klingon beauty went to work, securing the space for her own needs. "You know escape is futile... Right?"

"Perhaps." the Klingon answered softly. "Now. I have questions I wish to pose and... I would rather not make this harder then it needs to be." the Klingon female explained.

Monroe said nothing as he regarded her, more with curiosity the with malice. "Ask your questions... I cannot promise I will answer," he commented.

"Honesty, how refreshing," Otrollo commented in a light tone of voice. "I bet your Captain likes it."

"No, actually Captain Torel is a fool, a liar and a coward..." he paused. "Get on with your questions girl... Torture me and get it over with."

Otrollo raised an eyebrow. "It's simple... How do I shut down the slipspace drive..."

"Slipstream drive..." Monroe corrected her. "Well, it comes in two answers... The part that's easy to restore and the other one that's more or less permanent," he answered evenly.

The fact that he gave up so much information, so easily spoke much to Otrollo as she gently ran her fingers gently across the back of his neck. She could see that this was a deeply angry man who was being forced to act dishonorably. Maybe she could use it. "Okay, the temporary one."

"Over by the warp core. There is a console, you need to take it offline, or damage it, its the slipstream control system. It's all routed through there." Munroe explained. "What's your name.?" he asked suddenly. "If I am to speak with my captor. I would prefer that I address her by name.. I am James Monroe."

"Otrollo." the Klingon woman answered. "I want to know how to disable this ship so my people can become free again... Our homeworld was glassed... Was it not?"

"Yes... Your world was glassed..." Monroe answered quietly, shame eating at him and he expected the Klingon woman to hurt him for this affront, he would have done that had their positions been reversed. Otrollo sighed. "Then we shall take this ship... I require your help..."

"Are you deluded, girl?" Monroe asked gently. "Nobody else on this ship gives a shit about who you are or what you want from me... or anyone else..."

Otrollo regarded the human before her as if he had not spoken. "Have you heard nothing of what I had said... My people will be free..."

"Look. I appreciate that, Klingon honor and all of that jazz... But I am but one man... I cannot resolve the issue before you." Monroe answered softly. "I can... However, resolve the other issue for you," he commented in a light tone.

"I have not done anything to you to compel your act of treachery," Otrollo answered, as she regarded him with a look of mistrust. "I am not sure of what to make of this detail."

"Is it hard to believe that I wish vengeance upon my own commander for his act of treachery... He has disgraced the name of this ship and her crew for the rest of time... I will have vengeance for this..." Monroe answered softly. "You can either believe me...or not, the choice is yours... But there is no way out of here... except that door..." he indicated the small section of blue carpet. "and under that carpet, see to it you are not caught, girl. I would not like to deliver the news of your passing to your house-head... Who I can assume is chasing us at this very moment."

"Perhaps," Otrollo answered. "Were it so easy James Munroe... For me to trust you... It requires more then you giving me the keys to the house, so to speak."

Monroe knew of what she spoke. "Behind my desk... The bottom drawer, is a tricorder and phaser, take them... Both are fully charged and will serve you well."

Otrollo went behind the desk and quickly retrieved the items in silence, she then produced his combadge and handed it back to him. "I do not need others thinking that I was present... I am wondering if this was a mistake." she pulled the carpet aside and then she pulled the cover off of the tube. She then slid her lithe form into it and then she pulled the cover back over the top. Within moments she was gone as if she had never been here.
