Mission: Mission 108: Grains of Sand
Location: Various Locations - USS Infinity
Timeline: 0900Hrs - October 28th, 2393

Lieutenant Michael "Mike" Bourdaa regarded the display as he appeared in the transporter room aboard the ship he had come to call home. He had worked with Commander Kolar for years and he knew he would miss working with the other man, who had taught him much about how this job was done, what to do and what not to do, but most of all. Mike knew he would miss Kolar's wit and good nature. He had come to consider the older Klingon to be something of a father figure to himself and he would miss the older Klingon profoundly, but Kolar had said that Mie was ready for an assignment of this nature and Mike was going to prove Kolar's faith right.

Morae Stormstout stood before him in the transporter room. "Welcome back Lieutenant, was your leave productive?"

"Restfull ma'am. Which was exactly what I wanted more than anything else." Bourdaa answered, a wide grin on his face. "I enjoyed the silence and the sun. It was great."

"Really?" Stormstout answered. "You are a never-ending source of astonishment Lieutenant." the massive female explained.

"I try Commander. Now that I got Commander Kolar's old posting, I feel I have a certain sense of obligation to bring my enlightened perspective to the masses, so to speak." Bourdaa answered with a wide grin, as he watched the Vrykul female before him almost facepalm. "You sound insane when you come out with comments like that," she commented.

"You need to lighten up. I mean you are already looking after Sarah Horner's old job and she had time to sleep with Kayden Nell along with one guy in Engineering and two in science, all of them at least six times in a week for over three years on top of everything else." Bourdaa explained but when he noted the look on her face, it was clear that this was all a revelation to her. "What?" Bourdaa answered. "Sarah liked some variety in her bedmates..."

"I am not sure we should be discussing other people's sexual habits or their preferences," Stormstout answered in a flat tone, for lack of anything better to say on the topic at hand.

"Sure thing, Commander..." Bourdaa answered, a smile playing on his lips.

It was just then that the transporter chief turned to Stormstout. "Commander. I have an officer wanting to beam over from the USS Incheon," he commented. "It's our new Chief Conn Officer."

"Ahh. Go ahead and beam her over." Stormstout commented evenly.

The transporter operator nodded and a moment later the system worked its usual routine as a slender-looking human female appeared, she had a pack on her back and a PADD in her hands. "Permission to come aboard?" she asked.

"Granted Lieutenant, you got your orders?" Stormstout inquired.

"Aye Commander," Larson answered as she handed the PADD in her hands off to the massive woman before her, Larson smiled as she couldn't resist staring at Stormstouts chest, she figured the other woman had an impressive cup size. Larson wondered briefly if the Commander would be interested in a night of sex as she really wanted to see what Commander Stormstout looked like without clothes on but she dismissed the thought when she heard the massive female addressing her. "Look, good Lieutenant. Welcome aboard... I'll take you to the quartermaster office and then you can go freshen up before meeting with the skipper." she said to Larson.

"Sounds good, thank you, sir," Larson answered, a gentle smile on her lips before the three of them left the transporter room.

Stormstout regarded the two other officers before her. "Mike, are there any issues we need to address before I run away, like a little girl.?"

Bourdaa shook his head. "Nothing comes to mind ma'am..." he answered.

Stormstout facepalmed as she sighed. "Seriously... Mike..."

Bourdaa smiled as he regarded the massive female before him. "I'll buy you lunch... To make up for it," he commented. "Usual place?"

"Yes," Stormstout answered. "Go on. off with you... Before I commit homicide."

"Oh, my, how rude," Larson answered, a jovial tone in her voice.

Bourda grinned at the taller woman before he turned and went off to the right as the massive woman turned to Larson. "This way El-Tee..." she commented evenly. "Lieutenant Bourdaa has been assigned to the Infinity for longer then I've been assigned here," she added. "I apologize if the banter offended you."

"Nah. Sorry Commander but you guys gotta work a lot harder than that to offend me." Larson smiled. "I wonder if he's available."

Stormstout smiled, she liked people who had a sense of humor. "You could ask him and he might be... But I know he is presently in a relationship at the present time... and I don't think he likes to juggle with others... But you could ask him and see what he says on the subject."

Larson smiled maliciously. "I look forward to it." she had no idea that Stormstout was already seeing him on the side.

Stormstout regarded the smaller woman. "I see... This way." and with that, she turned and went over to a turbolift. She tapped the call button and settled in to wait for the next turbolift car as the two women waited. The turbolift doors slid open and the two women entered, heading to their final destination.
