Timeline: 1900Hrs - April 14th, 2393

Commander Siaxx Dvald-Vaxx had crashed out and gone to bed as Ma'haat was presently sitting at the kitchen table, he was presently drawing something on the large sheet of paper before him, he was also not alone as a young human girl was seated across from him. "So, Ma'haat, hows your mom doing?"

"She's just tired Saki. Having kids'll do it." Ma'haat regarded Saki Cullen-Yamaguchi who was the co-granddaughter of his mother as she had picked up a co-daughter who was not even Bolian, it was all very confusing to his young mind so he didn't even try to argue it with her or his mother, or anyone else for that matter.

Chen Vaxx came over with a large oversized metal plate in his hands. "Here you go, you two. Dinner is served. Pizza."

Saki cheered instantly. "Yay!" she responded gently, she did not wish to anger Siaxx by waking her up. Ma'haat smiled up at his father. "Thanks, Dad." as Chen placed the large plate upon the table. "Your brother is out at a friend's place and Heraxx is asleep, how long that remains like that. I cannot say so keep the noise down okay?"

Saki nodded. "Yes Chen," she answered formally. Ma'haat nodded. "Sure dad."

Vaxx nodded. "I'm going to go and check on your mom. Have fun." and with that, the massive Bolian male withdrew in silence.

Saki watched him leave before she lifted a slice. "Mmm." she grinned before she took a bite. "Oh wow, your dad is a heck of a chef."

"He loves cooking," Ma'haat answered evenly right as the doorbell beeped at them both. Ma'haat glanced around, nobody else save him and Saki was present so he had to go and get the door. He padded over to the door where he found himself greeting a human female he did not know. "Hello. Can I assist you?" Ma'haat inquired.

"You must be Ma'haat," Phoenix smiled warmly. "I'm Jillian."

Ma'haat looked up at her, while he gave her an odd look as Saki came over. "Wait. It's you." Saki commented, in a confused tone of voice. "Does mom know you are present?" the now ten-year-old almost demanded in an annoyed tone.

"She does. I just visited her," Phoenix smiled. "How are you doing, Saki?"

"I am doing alright. I have no complaints." the ten-year-old responded as the now fully grown Shonax the cat hopped up into her lap. Shonax regarded Phoenix before he meowed loudly at her.

Saki regarded Phoenix, a frown marring her looks. "I mean you up and disappeared. No word Phoenix, nothing at all. You vanished like a fart in a windstorm."

Ma'haat regarded Saki. "Mom's sleeping." he reminded his friend.

"Oh, right," Saki answered quietly as she handed the cat off to Phoenix. "Could you hold him a moment, please?. I need a drink." and with that, the human female moved off towards the kitchen. Ma'haat regarded Phoenix. "Mom spoke of you. She said very little."

"Same about you," Phoenix smiled, sitting on the couch with the kid. "What are you into these days? You've grown a lot from the last pic I was sent."

Ma'haat regarded Phoenix. "Well. I prefer track and field. It helps me keep up with Saki. She is a long distance marathoner when she's not doing her martial arts classes." the nine-year-old boy explained while the cat curled up in Phoenix's lap, he yawned loudly before he began kneading on her thighs with his claws.

"No kitty. Not good." Ma'haat reached for the cat.

"You running on a team, or just holodeck programs?" Phoenix asked, genuinely interested in the lad.

Shonax found himself leaving his favorite lap, he turned his head and hissed loudly. Ma'haat sighed, looking annoyed. "Down cat." he placed the cat onto the sofa. Shonax instantly went back to Phoenix and began kneading her lap again.

Phoenix just shook her head, humored with Shonax, and started to pet him on his back. "Do you compete against others on the track team?"

Ma'haat regarded the cat. The young boy was very clearly displeased. "I do. Yes." he answered. "Cat. Stop that."

Saki came back over, she sat down next to Ma'haat, she regarded Shonax. She pursed her lips before she blew the cat a kiss. "Shonax." she commented as she gently petted the cat, who instantly began purring at her.

Saki gently plucked the cat from where he was sitting so he was now sitting on Saki's lap, he settled instantly. "I'm used to pain," Saki commented in a simple voice. "What?"

Ma'haat regarded Phoenix with a simple look when suddenly the sound of an infant crying suddenly rent the air. "That would be Heraxx," he commented in a nonchalant tone of voice.

Saki sighed. "There goes kitty." as Shonax fled under the kitchen table.

"Shonax always acted like this?" Phoenix asked in confusion.

Ma'haat regarded the cat with a sigh. "He hates it when the baby cries." as the bedroom door opened and out walked a large Bolian male with the offender in question. "Come on Heraxx. Let's let your mother get some sleep." he tried to soothe the infant but it wasn't working out that well.

Shonax let out a loud wailing cry at the same time, clearly, kitty did not like this at all when suddenly the infant stopped crying.

Vaxx paused. "Well, that was unexpected." he mused aloud. "Ma'haat, whats going on.?

"We have guests dad." the child answered. "This is.." he paused while Saki answered. "This is Phoenix. She's your wife's wife.." she paused. "Wait, that sounded odd."

Ma'haat gently rubbed his bald head. "I am confused about how that works.."

"We normally use some sort of prosthetic ta fill the role of a dude," Phoenix supplied dryly.

Saki facepalmed. "No No NO!" she commented. "No sex talk."

Ma'haat regarded Phoenix, a look of confusion on his face. "No. I mean how you are my mother wife when she is already got a husband," he commented.

"Oh! That!!" Phoenix let out a small giggle. "Well... Bolians have many husbands and wives. I fated her, it was only natural we marry."

Ma'haat looked unamused. "I know all that. Mom didn't talk about you much."

Saki interjected. "That's because there really isn't a lot to tell," she commented evenly. "Your mom has been dealing with a lot and Phoenix was off, learning to... was it fly some new bird or something?"

"Yup. New age in space fighter warfare... Big bombers. New ones should be arrivin' to Roanoke soon." Phoenix sounded really excited. "And of course, I had to attend advanced bomber tactics school in order to teach our bomber crews to be better at their jobs."

"So sitting on your ass is more or less all you do. I see." Ma'haat answered in a light tone of voice.

Saki regarded the young Bolian child who sounded less than happy. "Whats the matter?"

"The demands of infants and cats." Ma'haat answered lightly.

"I love cats too, but I also like dogs," Phoenix admitted to the boy.

Ma'haat sighed softly. "Shonax and I are still getting to know each other."

"It could be worse." Saki commented. "The last tribble outbreak. I had to try and keep the tribbles away for the kitty, a waste of effort considering he thought I was playing with him. So there I was with a tribble in my hands, and Phoneix here thought I was tempting the cat with prey." there was something dark, something menacing in her tone.

Ma'haat caught onto it quickly. "You didn't like tribbles...?"

"I hate the vile little shits." Saki answered in a hostile tone. "I wanted to catch them all and cook em, squish em and feed them to that crew of losers and idiots." Saki responded back.

For one, Ma'haat found that he had nothing to say, except. "Wow. So Mom was right then."

"Your mom sugarcoated that ships crew. She was nice. I won't be." Saki answered.

"Things should be better this time. Command's issued a new CO. Engineering Corps says the CO is really good with fighter carriers an' did some major overhauls with the bomber project," Phoenix said happily. "Means less idiots comin' to tha ship this time."

Saki shared a look with the Bolian child. "That can't be good... right?"

Ma'haat simply shrugged. "Mom told us some real horror stories, I mean how did that ship even operate?" he inquired

Saki shrugged. "It worked on weeb bullshit rather then political power."

"Seems a lot of tha good folks on tha ship cared... an' still do." Phoenix was purposefully trying to keep positive about the situation.

Saki raised an eyebrow as she regarded Phoenix. "You have changed." she paused as she looked at Phoenix. "You used to enjoy being angry."
Saki narrowed her eyes at Phoenix as Shonax the cat hopped onto the small girl's lap.

The bedroom door opened and out came Siaxx, she was busy pulling down the T-Shirt she was wearing, it was clearly one of Chen's and on her, it looked more like a nightie. The small Bolian female yawned loudly. "Mmmm." she paused. "Well. I didn't expect to see you again," she said to Phoenix.

Ma'haat watched his mother approach as he hopped to his feet, clearly intending to give Siaxx his seat, she smiled at her son. "Thank you sweetie, do you guys still want to eat dinner?"

Saki raised an eyebrow. "I think, we can wait awhile. Ma'haat, Didn't you say you had something to show me?" the ten year old inquired.

Ma'haat didn't pck up the hint. Siaxx sighed softly as Saki smiled. "Come on Ma'haat, I'll show you my martial arts routine. I promise not to kick you or punch you."

Saki then gently hauled the Bolian child after her. "Lets give them some privacy... Shall we"?

Ma'haat simply shrugged. "Okay... I ummm... I guess."
