Mission: Mission 96: Settling Accounts
Location: Various Locations - USS Argonne
Timeline: 1230Hrs, September 6th, 2392

Master Chief Petty Officer Victoria Yamaguchi who was known to most as 'Enyo' had returned to her quarters and had gone about changing her looks so others would not confuse her for Commander Celeste Yamaguchi, her twin who was native to this reality.

First, however, she decided that she needed to pack so she could depart this ship for places unknown at this point before a gentle smile crossed her lips as she set a new destination for herself. Reaching the hair salon a few minutes later, she went in and explained what she wanted for herself.

"Okay, take a seat and we'll get to you shortly Master Chief." the man responded, a gentle smile on his face.

Victoria Yamaguchi did exactly as she was asked in silence, she took a seat before she closed her eyes and let her mind go blank as she slipped into a meditative trance. What seemed like two minutes later she heard someone address her. "Master Chief?"

"Mmm.?" Yamaguchi answered quietly. "Yes?"

"We're ready for you." as he indicated his chair.

"Ahh." Yamaguchi climbed back to her feet before she went over to the chair before she sat down, he draped the cloak around her shoulders as he smiled. "So what can I do for you?"

"Chop it all off. Leave about an inch of hair but change the color to platinum blonde." Yamaguchi explained with a smile.

"Okay. I can do that do you." and with that, the hairdresser went to work on her hair as Victoria watched in silence, a rather gentle smile on her face, while she watched the hairdresser shorn off her tresses several at a time.

The next forty-five minutes went by as Victoria remained motionless. The hairdresser went about changing her hair in silence. "You look somewhat like Commander Celeste Yamaguchi off the Dreamcrusher."

"That's because she's my long lost twin sister," Victoria answered, it was easier to say that the truth which was that she herself was Celeste Yamaguchi from another reality.

"Oh. Nice!" the man responded as he continued working on her looks.
Eventually, he held up a mirror so she could inspect his work. "Lovely. Thank you." Victoria answered, a wide smile on her lips, she finished her business quickly before she departed the hair salon.

Victoria's next stop was the Operations department to sort out her personal files, her name and the like. All of which took a short amount of time before she went back to her guest quarters, she recycled all of her clothing, keeping two complete sets which she more or less simply tossed into a backpack before she took her leave of these quarters and ten minutes later, she was heading for the hanger bay to head over to the base when someone intercepted her. Lieutenant Heather LaMonica smiled. "Mind if I walk with you Master Chief?"

"As a matter of fact, I do," Victoria responded with a soft sigh.

"Good. I will walk with you anyway." LaMonica answered unexpectedly. "Mind if I ask you where you are running away to?" the blonde inquired in a rather blunt tone of voice as she regarded the exotic beauty next to her. LaMonica found Yamaguchi to be easy on the eyes as she smiled, picturing what Yamaguchi looked like without her clothes on.

Yamaguchi regarded the other woman with a look of annoyance. "Why is it your business.?"

"Everything that happens on this ship is my business Master Chief," LaMonica answered rather bluntly.

Yamaguchi sighed. "What do you want then Lieutenant?" she decided to come out with it and be blunt in her approach. The sooner this got to the point, the sooner Victoria could get rid of this nosey female beside her.

"I am wondering why you are leaving us in such a rush." she paused. "Do I smell bad?. I could have sworn I took a shower this morning." LaMonica commented.

"It's not you. it's-" Victoria responded but was instantly silenced by LaMonica a moment later. "Do not even think of finishing that sentence Master Chief, that's a lie, a rather big one, and we both know it," LaMonica responded in a rather dry tone of voice as she gave the other woman a rather pointed look.

"Okay, so why am I running away?" Victoria responded, not getting quite irritated and annoyed.

"Because you feel out of sorts and you are used to a certain mindset among the officers and crew of these various ships. You aren't used to the fact that we all care. We care about each other, we care about the people we're protecting and we will do whatever it takes for each other."
LaMonica responded. "What am I like in your home reality?"

"I do not know. I have never met or heard of you." Victoria answered evenly. "Which honestly isn't a bad thing. I can only imagine or guess. I would probably be wrong."

LaMonica smiled. "Oh probably. So what are you going to do about it?"

"Do you always ask such things... I mean whats with all the leading questions?" Yamaguchi inquired.

"I never start a conversation unless I know where it's going," LaMonica responded lightly. "So. Yeah. Why are you leaving?" LaMonica answered. "This Starfleet could really use you."

"I want to figure out where I fit in with this new world. This new reality of mine." Victoria answered bluntly. "To heal and forget what it means for me to be human."

"You can do that here and we can help you with your issues," LaMonica answered.

"No. I want some leave time away from here then I report to the training facility and go through the system again. I need to know about the new gear and tech I'll be using." Yamaguchi explained.

"You don't seek life. You seek death." LaMonica answered.

"Yeah, I do," Yamaguchi answered bluntly. "You get used to it after a time. I need time to myself to sort out my issues so I'd appreciate it if you-" Yamaguchi started but LaMonica silenced her by interrupting yet again.

"You need to relax Master Chief and realize that you are among friends, for if you can't tell the difference between your friends and your enemies then you are no help to anyone and you are your own worst enemy," LaMonica explained.

"Now you sound like my sister who is honestly a delusional rage-case at best and a completely insane nymphomaniac at worst. That doesn't help your case much."

"So long as you continue to be so predictable, you will be your own worst enemy," LaMonica commented. "At least you have a chance to do something better than you have been doing. Besides. Like I said, Starfleet could really use you as we have a great need for personnel of your caliber."

"Perhaps Ms. LaMonica. I will at least, consider what you have said while I am on my vacation. Besides, Starfleet hasn't a clue of what to do with me anyway. So they will need time to sort that out and I'll relax on a beach while they do it. Starfleet will be able to contact me when they need me." Yamaguchi slowly smiled. "I updated my paperwork with your guys before I left," she added.

"You are still leaving?"

"I have no place here now. But I will be back soon enough." Yamaguchi paused. "Stop undressing me with your eyes," she added quietly.

LaMonica paused. "I make no promises," she responded.

"Good," Yamaguchi answered before she sighed. "My ride is waiting over at the base."

"Then I will wish you good luck," LaMonica answered. "Let's hope you won't need it." As the two women parted company. One heading back to the bridge while the other headed for the nearest transporter room.

Within an hour. Victoria Yamaguchi was aboard a Fighter Corps transport, bound for Deneva as she wished to see if this really was truly different from the one she had left behind, she suspected she would know soon enough.
