| Personal History | Heather LaMonica was born in 2364 on the colony world of New Omsk, this was a world that reminds one of the steppes of Asia in more ways then a few. LaMonica herself is descended from a large group of people who left Earth in the early twenty second century to settle a colony. Heather grew up on this colony as it had a Starfleet ROTC base where she enlisted before finishing high school then she went off to the academy. LaMonica had issues settling into life at the academy as she almost resigned several times over issues stemming from culture clashes. However LaMonica was able to push through the workload and while she graduated, she was somewhere about one hundred and forty of two hundred and fifty. Her first assignment was to the USS Vladivostok which was an older Excelsior-class starship where she met her wife, Saia Azuresteel as the two quickly bonded together. Before long the two were married while Heather was reassigned to the USS Leyte Gulf where she served as their Assistant Chief before being promoted to Chief a year or so later. Her subsequent assignments were nothing to really write home about but her posting to the USS Argonne promises to be more promising, she served here well for the better part of eighteen months before she was reassigned to become the Chief Operations officer on the USS Coral Sea, her wife going with her. |
