Mission: Mission 96: Settling Accounts
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 1130Hrs - September 1st, 2392

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi did not know that her ships security had already been compromised or what had transpired earlier back at her quarters, had she known she would have either gone bananas or would have gone to see Lieutenant Duval who was acting as the ships Chief of Security and done something about it.

Meanwhile down at airlock five. Captain Marie Yamaguchi greeted the master at arms. "Permission to come aboard Senior Chief?"

"Let me give you the once over ma'am. Can't be too careful after all." the man responded as he opened his tricorder and gave Marie a quick check. "You're clean. I'm sorry about the security procedures ma'am. Welcome aboard."

"No worries Senior Chief. You need not apologize for doing your job." Yamaguchi responded, a wide smile on her face. "Thanks for being upfront about it. My own guys are a rather devious bunch and they don't tell me when they are going to poke and prod me and my crewmates."

"It's never wise to antagonize the skipper. Thanks, Captain."

"No worries." and with that, she turned to find herself face to face with Celeste's wife. "Hello, Bri." she addressed the other woman. "I did promise to behave myself... You look disgruntled. Maybe I can cheer you up." as she gave Hobbs a rather wide grin.

Hobbs looked skeptical. "Really, how do you plan to do that Captain?"

"Marie. please." Yamaguchi answered. "No titles between family," she added a moment later. "Hows your kids doing?"

"Alright...Marie." Brianna replied, although still not comfortable being that familiar with her. "Charon has been a little under the weather but besides that, they are doing great."

Marie blinked as she moved down the hallway with the taller woman beside her. "Little guy ate something?" she inquired with a gentle smile. "No worries. I'll see what not to feed Caitian children and then I'll adjust my plans for you guys accordingly." she smiled. "My plan for cheering you up is I liberate your wife from the slave pits she loves so much and I remove her from this ship. Call it... Kidnapping." as Marie's smile widened. "I hope Celeste will be reasonable... But I am prepared in case she isn't."

"Celeste knows she's overworking herself. She'll be reasonable." Bri replied.

"I hope so." Marie sighed softly. "There are enough issues between us. I don't wish to add any more problems." the older woman sighed softly. "I'm already in trouble with her for that prank I pulled on you."

Brianna smiled at Marie. "That was hardly a prank. Besides, Celeste needs a little levity now and then."

"Oh god, no doubt." Marie agreed with a zesty grin. "She needs to work on her sense of humor... But her heart is in the right place." Yamaguchi responded.

"That's why I fell in love with her." She replied. "She has been through too much."

Marie nodded. "I know. I'm worried about her." she let out a soft sigh. "I should be planetside with my own children but Horus has things in hand with them." as she grinned. "Besides. My sister needs some tender loving care... and as for dinner. What are you and the kits allergic to so I don't have a medical emergency on my hands. That will ruin dinner .. and my mood."

"The kits haven't had a whole lot of experience with different food types so as far as I know allergies shouldn't be a problem," Brianna replied. "I'm sure whatever you cook, we will devour."

Marie grinned. "I'll make something that'll be gentle for the kits.. and good for you guys." as she smiled at Brianna. "So.. want lots of meat or vegetables?"

Brianna thought for a moment. "Meat. The kits could use more protein."

Marie's grin now threatened to split her face. "Outstanding. Italian it is then," she commented. "Lots of meat for the kits and a good pasta dish for you guys. Sound good?"

"Yes, it does actually," Brianna replied. "I'm sure Celeste will be delighted."

"She loves Italian food. It's why she has to spend time in the gym." Marie paused. "She needs to develop her sense of humor. I know she has one but it needs work."

"Give it time Marie. She has a lot of issues to sort through." She told her.

"I know... James and Daniel are worried too, as is mom and dad." Marie paused. "Celeste is a lot stronger then she looks, she feels fragile but she has a strength that is inspiring to me, especially with what she's endured." the older Yamaguchi fell silent a moment. "I've never been through what she's faced and endured. She's still going and she's still facing her demons, head on... Her strength is an inspiration."

Brianna nodded. "Too bad Celeste never sees this side of you."

"I know," Marie responded. "That, however, can be cured. Dinner will help me with this." she paused. "Do you guys have any food stockpiled or do I need to go do it the hard way.. from the starbase?" she paused. "Knowing Celeste as I do. I'll need food from the base. That's fine."
