Mission: Mission 96: Settling Accounts
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 0930Hrs - September 1st, 2392

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi had finished typing out her message to her wife who was over on the USS Argonne, a variation of the Nebula class, equipped for the Marine transport role except she was no conversion job, she had been built specifically for this role.

The message read. "Hey, Bri. Marie is coming over to spend time with us, she's cooking dinner for us so eat light today. She says she'll behave but I'm not sure as I know she's going to pull something that'll make me want to scream at the top of my lungs. Hopefully, it won't be too bad. Love Cel."

Celeste Yamaguchi then tapped 'SEND' before she went back to work with her paperwork in her new office.

Meanwhile elsewhere. Master Chief Petty Officer Victoria Yamaguchi found out where her double lived and so she decided to go root around through her double's underwear drawer so to speak. Enyo walked down the hall like she belonged there as she had a rather wide grin on her face.

She reached her destination which was marked as 'CMDR Yamaguchi-Hobbs C' with the deck number and the room number next to it. The tall woman tapped the door release before she entered, expecting to find nothing but she found signs of children everywhere. "Oh boy," Enyo muttered softly before she moved into Celeste's home.

Charon was home as he was not feeling well, he heard the front door open before he poked his head out of the bedroom. "Mom!" he almost yelled loudly.

Enyo blinked as her head snapped around as she had not been expecting the child to scream at her or as he charged her. Enyo was quite literally paralyzed with terror as the child barreled into her, knocking her onto her back. "Mom, you okay?"

"I'm....I'm fine," Enyo responded, clearly taken aback. "Well...umm what are you doing here?"

Charon regarded her with a measure of confusion. "What... I wasn't well so I remained at home. Everyone else is at school. Well.. except Jackson."

"Oh.. Yes of course," Enyo responded quickly but she missed the door opening behind her.

"You got home quick," Brianna told the woman she thought was Celeste. "I'd thought you'd be buried in work."

"Aww. It wasn't too bad." Enyo paused a moment. "I decided to take a break." she paused. "What are you doing here?" Enyo inquired.

"My paperwork was uncharacteristically small," Bri replied. "I decided to come by and check on Charon." Brianna then went to him.

As she approached his bed she felt his forehead. "Hey Kiddo, you're not faking are you? Oh, you are warm. Have you been drinking enough?"

Charon nodded his furry head. "Yeah mom," he answered quietly as he regarded Enyo before he sniffed in her direction softly. "Mmmm." he narrowed his eyes before turning his attention to Brianna. "I'm being good."

"Let me get you something to drink just to make sure." Brianna moved to the replicator. "Computer: A cold washcloth and...what did want to drink Charon?"

Charon regarded Brianna. "Just cold water. I didn't want anything fancy." the child responded as Enyo gently slipped into the master bedroom. Once behind the door, she sighed. "Shit.." she paused as she looked around the bedroom of her double. "So... Celeste, what sort of a woman are you," she asked herself aloud.

Brianna brought the water and the washcloth over. "Sit up and drink a little please," Bri asked Charon. Brianna then patted the cold washcloth on Charon's forehead and cheeks.

It was then that Brianna noticed that Celeste wasn't fussing over the kid the way she was. Normally, Celeste would be smothering the Charon with attention. She went to the bathroom door. "Celeste Honey, are you okay?"

Enyo paused as she looked around. "Yeah. I'm. I'm just tired." she paused as she winced. 'She'll never go for that one.' she paused as she returned to the bedroom door. 'Let's see if this works.' she paused as she opened the door. "I was just thinking... Is everything alright?" she inquired with a smile.

"Well, we have a sick kid and you're still overworking yourself," Brianna told her. She looked back at Charon to make sure he didn't her. She lowered her voice. "Are you still upset about Ro'cholk?"

Enyo blinked. "I've been thinking about it from time to time.." she paused. "I'm coping. really I am." she paused. "I think I ate something odd though as I've not been feeling well myself all morning." even though she had no idea of what the other woman was talking about.

Brianna pursed her lips. "Alright, get better." Hobbs smiled as she closed the bathroom door. She stepped away from the door as to not be heard by her. "She has finally had a breakdown," Brianna told herself.

"Hobbs to the bridge," She stated in a subdued voice. "We have an issue in Commander Yamaguchi's quarters."

McKnight's voice came back. "This is the bridge. Brianna. What's going on?" he inquired.

"Hello Karass, I think Celeste has finally had too much. She isn't acting rationally." She told him.

"Well, today was supposed to be her last day before she went on a month's leave," McKnight answered. "Do you want me to send a few guys down there.?" he inquired.

"No, but keep a team on standby. Thanks, Karass, Hobbs out." She told him.

Meanwhile. Enyo slowly slipped out of the quarters, past the Caitian child who had caught her and she knew it. Enyo moved down the hallway and back into a crawlspace, within seconds she was gone like she never existed.

Brianna went to the door. "Celeste, how are you doing?" There was no answer. "Are you okay?" Brianna stated in a worried voice but still no answer.

"Computer: Where is Commander Yamaguchi?"

"Commander Yamaguchi is in her office."

"You got back to your salt mine fast," Brianna told herself.
