Daisy was waiting out by the turbo lifts for Orthos. It was then that a familiar face appeared as the doors opened.

Despite being eight months pregnant, Daisy grabbed Snee around the neck. "You little twerp! You're going back to prison!"

"Leave me alone you bone headed bitch!" Snee yelled. "I have orders to be here." He told her.

"Oh really?" Daisy stated as she let go of his head. "I'd like to see them."

Snee handed her a PADD. "I'll help you with the big words, Marine," Snee told her in a condescending voice. "I'm here to officially watch the command here."

"I don't believe it," Daisy stated. "How the hell did you get this post?"

"It's called talent Missy," Snee told her with confidence. "I have the ear of people in high places."

Orthos cleared his throat. "Mister Snee. Unhand My wife or I will unhand you." he barked, there was no mistaking the order and demand for what it was. "I ever see you doing that again then I will seriously fuck you up!" he snarled loudly.

"If you didn't notice your bruiser of a wife had her arm around my head. I'm just defending myself." Snee shot back.

"That's amusing. Considering she's right and you should be in jail Mon Amis." he was now in a good mood and his tone was anything but jovial. "Oh I knew all about your assignment here Snee and good people are about to suffer because of you," he responded.

"Only people that are breaking regulations and going against Star Fleet command will suffer. If your loyal you have nothing to worry about." Snee said in a threatening tone.

Orthos laughed. It was not a pleasant laugh, it was rich with irony. "I love people like you, please if you were going to threaten me, you'd have done it already."

"Why are you so hostile to an officer sent by Star Fleet to see what is going on out here and reporting back? Unlike you, I'm just doing the job Star Fleet wants me to do." Snee said in a superior tone.

"Y'see Snee, it goes like this. I remember what you did, I remember you. I remember what you tried to do and I'm glad that I don't have to work with a sniveling little weasel like you. Just Remember that Nye isn't here to save you." as his smile slowly widened.

"I'm working for people much higher up than him. Nye was some crazy officer. I work for politicians now, people with real power." Snee had a very nasty smile on his face.

Orthos sighed. "Then go do your job Lackey and depart. You clearly are very important so off with you then." he paused. "Oh, Daisy. Could you please let the man go before I take offense and." Orthos paused a moment. "Hurt him for his affront to you."

Daisy let him go and Snee fell onto the deck. "I'm not going to forget this." He threatened as he tried to regain his dignity.

Orthos growled. "Neither will I. Now be gone." he hissed in Snee's general direction. "Please?" he turned to his wife. "Did I forget the, please?." he asked Daisy. "I hate it when I do that." he turned back to Snee. "Why are you still here?. Go on, shoo. Run along now already."

Snee pointed at Orthos. "Consider yourself on notice."

Orthos simply laughed at him. "Somewhere there is a life support generator, tirelessly working to produce oxygen. I think you owe it an apology," he commented.

"What?" Snee clearly didn't understand the insult hurled at him.

Orthos turned his head. "Go away Snee." he said quietly but there was no mistaking the implied threat behind the demand. "Now." he added.

Snee just slinked away. He stared at him. He would try and get back at him for this slight.

Orthos slowly smiled as he waved at Snee. "Daisy, didn't you want me to brief you regarding certain things?" he inquired of his wife.

"Oh yes, please," Daisy replied. Snee looked on from afar with loathing.

"Right then. Let's head to your office so I can update you on the supply situation." he regarded his wife with a soft smile. "Y'know I can hear you thinking," he added quietly. "You want his head as a souvenir?"

"No, I don't want to deal with the hazmat paperwork." She replied.

"Fair enough," Orthos responded as he walked beside her, towards her office.

Daisy looked back and saw Snee was still scowling at them. "I think you really pissed him off. Nye isn't here to placate him with an ice cream cone."

Orthos snickered in amusement. "Sounds like something I would be doing for Edward or T'Sara." he clarified. "Besides with Snee. it'll be a waste of ice cream." he paused. "Now I feel like a bowl of ice cream, with french vanilla and lots of white chocolate chunks."

"I could let you treat to get me mind off of what just took place. Why don't we grab Edward and get some ice cream and relax?" Daisy suggested.

Orthos smiled. "Yes. Lets do it." she responded instantly, he didn't even hesitate to think about it.
