Mission: Mission 94: Shattered Shields and Crack'd Swords
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 12
Timeline: 0800Hrs - July 10th, 2392

Warrant Officer Rachael Yamaguchi-Cullen walked into the Hospital Complex on Starbase 12, she was ten minutes early for her doctor's appointment, Ennis had asked her about it earlier as he had been worried about her, with good cause as Rachael agreed with him.

Yamaguchi-Cullen simply wanted to get some testing done so she could carry on with flying, considering everything she had been through recently so she was leaving nothing to chance.

Yamaguchi-Cullen went over to the small desk at the front of the sickbay. "Hello. I'm here for my nine o'clock appointment."

"Ms. Yamaguchi?" one of the nurses inquired with a smile as the human gave her the once-over.

"Yes, I need to get that name issue sorted out," Yamaguchi-Cullen responded with a smile of her own.

"Lt Commander Bell will see you now, this way." the same human turned and led her through sickbay until she found herself in a small examination room.

Yamaguchi-Cullen took a seat and waited patiently. A few minutes later the door opened and in walked Commander Stephanie Bell. "Hey. Sorry about that. I needed to go to the bathroom."

"It's fine Doctor." Yamaguchi-Cullen smiled at the woman who was about her height. "Okay... so what am I looking at you for?"

"Well... I missed my cycle by a week... and I took a home pregnancy test. I want a second opinion... Well, that's you." Yamaguchi-Cullen explained.

"Fair enough." Stephanie Bell smiled as she opened her medkit. "Okay, now just relax and this will take no time at all." she smiled. "Your reception was a lovely affair. A great excuse to throw a party." Bell already had an excellent idea as to what was going on and why it was going on. "and... Yep... you are indeed pregnant."

"Ahh. I was unsure." Yamaguchi-Cullen answered before she nodded, for lack of anything better to say or do.

Bell regarded the younger female before her. "So this is an Ooops baby?" she inquired, a soft smile on her lips.

Yamaguchi-Cullen looked confused. "Whats an Oops baby?"

"A pregnancy that unplanned. I know exactly what that's like, my youngest. Leah was an oops baby." Bell explained. "I named her for Leah Anderson." Bell smiled softly. "You'd like her."

"I heard about Captain Anderson," Yamaguchi-Cullen responded as she grinned widely. "Thank you, Doctor, you have been a great help to me."

"You're carrying twins, Rachael," Bell explained

"Twins?" Yamaguchi-Cullen inquired with a soft smile. "Oh, I was not expecting such... Besides I hadn't considered it."

"Oh," Bell answered. "Okay, so we will look at proving you with the usual support that you normally would get... Will this be an issue for your work.?"

"Not any more than anything else would.." Yamaguchi-Cullen responded with a shrug. "I'm presently between assignments at the moment since my ship was lost at Goranar." she paused. "My new boss might be annoyed but he'll or she'll get over it."

Bell raised an eyebrow. "Lovely... Well, I will leave you to handle it."
she responded. "Other than your pregnancy, you are in excellent health otherwise."

"Thanks... Well, that was all I wanted to know.." as Yamaguchi-Cullen hopped off of the bed. "Thanks for your time Doctor."

"Thank you Warrant Officer." and with that Yamaguchi-Cullen opened the door and slipped out quietly, her next stop was her husband to deliver the good news. "No.. I need to go and see my Wing Commander first... I'll tell Ennis later when he can appreciate it.." and with that, she went to her next stop.
