| Personal History | Stephanie was in Canada on Earth, where she grew up with both her parents. At an early age, Stephanie dreamed of exploring the universe and after graduating high school had the opportunity to attend the University of New York to study medicine, this was where she earned her four degrees. Her first assignment was assigned to study Cardassian medicine and illnesses as part of a Federation research effort. In 2372, Stephanie was assigned to the USS Legend, a Galaxy Class starship as a civilian nurse, assigned to explore the newly discovered Gamma Quadrant. She soon began a relationship with Xavier Bell the Chief Science Officer. It was only a matter of time until they got married in 2373. As the Dominion War began, Stephanie and the other civilians on board were sent back to Earth. While staying with her parents, she gave birth to the first son Xavier Jr. After spending a year away from her husband they reunited after the war. A year later along came her second child which they both named Tony. When Xavier was assigned to the USS Genesis as the Executive Officer to help rebuild Cardassia after its near destruction, she was assigned to the medical department. In 2376, Stephanie gave birth to their first daughter Cecily. Two years later her family was once again reassigned when Xavier was promoted to Captain and given his own command aboard the USS Hera. In 2379, after spending five years on one ship. Stephanie and the children were dropped off DS9 with the other civilians on board. The USS Hera was supposed to be facing the Borg along with the Second Fleet but was ordered to patrol instead. Xavier disobeyed a direct order from Starfleet Command and attended the battle instead. Afterward, her husband was stripped of his command and rank. During his court-martial on DS9, she gave birth to their second daughter Leah, named in honor of Leah Deepshadow, a close family friend. Being supportive of her husband, when Xavier was assigned to the USS Victory as the Executive Officer. Stephanie gathered up the children and was ready to go where needed. She managed to find a job on board working in sickbay as a nurse. It was here that she was offered an opportunity to join Starfleet, so rather than file the coursework, she did her schooling aboard the USS Victory, then the Endeavour and lastly the USS Tecumseh. She served on the Tecumseh for the better part of three years before the ship the finally decommissioned and scrapped. she was reassigned to the USS Merlin, an older Akira class ship that had been refitted for the destroyer role. Stephanie served here for the better part of a year and a half before she was offered the chance to go over to the USS Tranquility as their Assistant Chief Medical Officer, soon after she earned her promotion to Commander. |
