Posted on Thu Mar 12th, 2020 @ 3:26am by Lieutenant Commander Tanya Stevenson & Lieutenant Morg "Morgan" Wolfsong & Lieutenant Commander Ouros Yamaguchi

Mission: Mission 86: A Hero Falls
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 2000Hrs - May 17th, 2392

Lieutenant JG Morg Wolfsong sighed softly as he blinked his eyes, he was tired and to make matters worse, he was working second shift which he really didn't mind, he was also working long hours, another something he didn't mind as he walked into the front desk area, he was assisting the Doctors as he was still working on his residency which meant he was the gopher or the FNG. Whichever term worked best for him.

Lt Commander Tanya Stevenson was tired. "Hey, Morg. You okay?"

"Another long day in paradise. Doctor." Wolfsong answered an easy smile on his face which stood in contrast to his looks which identified him as a full-blooded Klingon. "I'm ready for my next appointment."

"Want an easy one?" the nurse behind the front desk inquired with a good-natured smile. Morg knew she was giving him a chance to stat pad his record with an easy assignment. "No. I'll take whatever you have," Wolfsong answered with a smile on his youthful face.

"I have Lieutenant Ouros Yamaguchi, she wants to make sure she has no issues or problems with her-" she paused. "-previous medical issue.." as the nurse frowned. "She doesn't say what medical issue that is.. You wanna deal with her?"

"Consider the issue addressed and handled," Wolfsong answered, a good-natured grin on his face. "I love a challenge, every once in a while. Tonight is my lucky night. I'm three for three." Morg chuckled softly.

Stevenson smiled. "You did a heck of a job with the shellfish incident." she found working with Morg Wolfsong to be great for her personal morale.

"Just fortunate Doctor. I had two outstanding nurses helping me." Wolfsong answered her, a wide grin on her face. "I love my job."

"And modest too." the nurse commented. "Where did you find him?" she inquired of Stevenson.

"The USS Incheon dropped him and a dozen others off for us," Stevenson explained. "So.. Morg, she's right over there. Good luck with her." she indicated Ouros who was in the waiting area.

Wolfsong noticed the tall, massive female reading a holozine, something about recent events which mostly was depressingly bad, stuff about the Klingons fight with the Gorn. "Lieutenant Yamaguchi?" he addressed her. "The Doctor will see you now," he added, a grin on his face.

Ouros regarded him as she placed the holozine down on the table where she had lifted it from earlier. "You?" she inquired.

"Yes. I will see you now." Morg confirmed her statement.

"As you wish." and with that, the tall female rose to her feet before she followed him through the sickbay facility and into a private examination room in the back, it was decorated in blues and greens. It had several charts on the walls with only one chart that looked like it had no place here. It was twenty rules from the art of war.

"What can I help you with?. Lieutenant." Wolfsong inquired.

"I require a full physical as I wish to make sure I have no medical issues, ailments or problems," Yamaguchi explained quickly.

"I gather there was an issue in the past.?" Wolfsong explained. "I can put you through a full physical but things might go smoother if you tell me what the previous injury was. It's not listed on your records."

"I know." Yamaguchi sighed softly. "It's embarrassing." the tall female added a moment later.

"Only if you permit it to be," Wolfsong answered her in a gentle tone. "Nobody else will know what is said between these four walls Lieutenant, I take my oath most seriously." Wolfsong regarded her.

"Yes... Well." Yamaguchi paused, clearly wondering how to find the words. "Ummm..." she then huffed a sigh a moment later.

"Did someone do something that they shouldn't have done?" Wolfsong inquired. "I think I can guess." he paused as he let out a sigh. "Make yourself comfortable. I'm going to start with a baseline series of scans so I can see what I'm working with."

"As you wish," Yamaguchi answered lightly.

Wolfsong proceeded with his half dozen scans, he started at her head and worked his way down across her body, her chest, abdomen, legs, and feet. "From what I can tell, other than elevated stress levels. You have no major issues.." he paused. "I need more information on what's bothering you before I can proceed."

"I've not been feeling well. I got some bad news today." Yamaguchi explained. "Since then. I've generally been feeling sick. Almost like I can't keep anything down."

"Okay. Let me give you the once over." Wolfsong had a feeling that she wasn't being completely honest with him but that was her choice and it was quiet in Dreamcrushers sickbay so he had the time to help work out her issues. "Lieutenant. Tell me something?" Wolfsong regarded her before he spoke. "Have you been sexually assaulted in the past?"

"Yes," Yamaguchi answered before she nodded yes.

"Ahh. Why didn't you just say so?" Wolfsong regarded her, she was almost the same mass as he was and an inch or so taller than he was, he was also willing to bet that she could outfight him too.

"Because it shames me. It's embarrassing that someone with my size can fall victim to rape." Yamaguchi explained.

"I understand," Wolfsong responded quietly. "As I said. What's said in here, remains in here." he regarded her. "I am your Doctor... Well, once I complete my residence that is." Wolfsong added.

"The Doctor thought that I would make a suitable examination test for you.?" Yamaguchi inquired.

"Everything is about teaching me as much as I can learn. I'm doing on the job training and every case is a new experience, something new to see and to learn. It also lets me help others who need my help." Wolfsong explained. "I was offered the choice and I selected my patient. You."

"Oh." Yamaguchi suddenly felt foolish all of a sudden. "Sorry," she added a moment later.

"It's fine Lieutenant." he paused. "Whats your name?" Wolfsong asked a moment later.

"Uurows" she added a moment later "With an Oh, not a You." Yamaguchi took care to explain how to pronounce her name. "It's Halanan for Elizabeth. I am an exact duplicate of Elizabeth Yamaguchi. She makes life so easy and she has it all."

"She isn't you," Wolfsong responded with a smile. "You, Ouros Yamaguchi as your own unique claim to fame, you are perfect in all your flaws. You are special in your own way. Never let anyone else tell you otherwise. Also, you have no complications due to the sexual assault you sustained." he added quietly. "I will update your medical records as needed. However, I will need your permission to do so."

"My permission?" Yamaguchi inquired. "Oh, the sexual assault."

"Yes. Mind if I share my thoughts Ouros. I ask because you may not like what I have to say on the matter. I will offend you." Wolfsong commented in a quiet tone of voice.

"Speak your mind Doctor," Ouros responded. "If you cannot say what you mean then you can never mean what you say, the details are everything."

Wolfsong regarded her. "In my experience, victims of sexual assault tend to start living in a prison of their own making as they tend to not get revenge or restitution from their attacker, the state claims it in their name instead." he regarded her. "I am convinced that you are living in such a facility. Being unable to claim revenge. He wronged you and you can't take back what he took from you."

Yamaguchi paused as she let out a sigh. "I didn't expect you to say anything like that.."

"I look Klingon but that doesn't mean I consider myself to be a Klingon," Wolfsong responded. "I was adopted by Captain Daniel Wolfsong and his wife. I consider them dad and mom respectively. They both live and work on Watchman Station so I can easily contact them at any time."

"I am sorry.." Yamaguchi paused. "Whats your name?"

"Morg," he answered. "Or Morgan, whichever you prefer," Wolfsong added a moment later. "I answer to both."

"Morg." Yamaguchi paused. "You have given me much to consider."

"Just doing what I can Ouros, to help those who need me." he paused. "Do you feel like talking about it?" he added.

"Hmm??" Yamaguchi was taken aback by what he had said. "What.. Sorry," she added a moment later.

"The bad news you got... Do you want a moment to vent?" Wolfsong inquired.

"Oh." Yamaguchi paused. "My aunt Torilla was killed in action today. My siblings are all devastated." she paused. "I should explain that I am a refugee from another reality. My mother, my aunt and both siblings are here with me." Ouros explained. "That's why you have two Elizabeth Yamaguchi's here in this reality."

"Ahh," Wolfsong responded. "That explains what you meant by the other Elizabeth."

"Yes. Torilla Yamaguchi is my mother as much as the woman who carried me and gave birth to me. She's now listed as Plataea Yamaguchi." she paused. "She, however, is alive and well. Unlike Torilla. But Torilla's children are my siblings as the father to my siblings and Torilla's children are the same man. Jake Yamaguchi."

"That must make for a complex situation," Wolfsong commented.

"It does," Yamaguchi answered. "We're still getting to know each other but for me, it's been a blessing. I can't imagine my life anywhere else."

"That's good to know Ouros." he paused. "Mind a little advice?. If I may be so bold?"

Yamaguchi slowly smiled. Wolfsong decided that she looked really attractive and sexy when she smiled. "Remember her for who and what she was to you, don't remember her because you feel you must or that you feel obligated to do so. Remember Torilla for who and what she was."

Yamaguchi nodded. "I will." she paused. "You have given me a great deal to think about. Thank you, Morg."

"Alright. So. I'm going to give you a clean bill of health. Is there anything else I can help you with?" Wolfsong inquired of her.

"Are you... Doing anything after work.?" Yamaguchi inquired in a hesitant tone of voice. "I'm not sure if it'll get you into trouble, however."

"Let me worry about the trouble." Wolfsong responded. "and no. I'm not doing anything after work. I get out sometime about Oh six hundred hours."

"Excellent. Feel like dropping by the lounge for breakfast?" she paused a moment. "Say, about oh eight hundred?" Yamaguchi inquired, in a hopeful tone of voice.

He surprised himself with his response. "Sure. I'd love to." and with that, he rose to his feet. "Come on Ouros. I'll walk you out." and with that, he opened the door, she stepped out followed by him, she departed the sickbay complex in a far better mood than she entered.

Stevenson regarded the tall female as she departed. She raised an eyebrow. "Wow. What did you say to her?"

"I helped Ouros free herself from a prison of her own making Doctor. I can't say anything more I am afraid." Wolfsong explained. "Doctor-Patient confidentiality."

"Fair enough. So she has her issues cured?"

"Not at all. What's this sickbays policy on dating people?" Wolfsong inquired, he regarded Stevenson as he asked.

"You can't treat someone you are seeing. You'll need to hand her off to someone else. Even if she requests you." Stevenson responded, a gentle smile on her lips. "Why?. Did she ask you out?" the older Asian female inquired.

"She did, for breakfast in the lounge," Wolfsong explained.

"Impressive." Stevenson smiled. "If she's anything like Elizabeth then I think, your life just became a lot more complicated." the Asian looking woman smiled.

"As I said. I helped her to escape a prison of her own making.. and I'm hoping she can move on with life." Wolfsong responded. "For now, I am content to be her friend, if she'll let me."

"Ahh. One of those... Should I cite her for counseling.?" Stevenson responded before she asked her question.

"Yes. Stick me down for that assignment. Counseling Ouros Yamaguchi, for as long as needed." he explained.

"Moonlighting as a Counselor too. Very nice." Stevenson chuckled softly. "Consider it arranged, once I talk to Commander Kingston, that is," she added. "I think you'll go far Morg if your demand for work doesn't kill you first."

"Thank you, Doctor. I'm ready for my next job." Wolfsong responded, a smile on his face. "Work waits for nobody after all."
