How to council an Akurian

Mission: Mission 81: They Shall Have Wars and Pay for their resumption
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1000Hrs - April 10th, 2392

Ryuukei was lounging about with Cyrin, Niva, Kasana and Hakaya. Ryuukei looked over at Hakaya, "So how's the pregnancy."

Hakaya shrugged. "This one actually seems a little easier."

Ryuukei nodded when he noticed Elizabeth coming into the room.

The barkeep regarded Elizabeth Yamaguchi from a distance, a gentle smile on his lips. "Elizabeth.. What can I get you?"

"Just a glass of water please Barkeep. I'm just stopping in because I wanna make a request of these guys." she indicated the Akurians as she spoke.

"One glass of water... You don't mind my saying but thats a little bland..."

"I know.. But I'm on watch and I don't take chances.." she shrugged. "Sorry barkeep."

"Your diligence does you credit. You're going to make a hell of a Chief Medical Officer someday..." The bartender smiled.

Elizabeth received her drink before she smiled at Hakaya. "Hey guys... Hows things..?" she asked everyone present. "What about you Hakaya... Hows this ships newest mom-to-be?" she inquired, a wide warm smile at the small female before her.

Hakaya gave a small acknowledging purr then replied. "Eh, this one is a little easier than the last one."

Elizabeth smiled warmly down at the small being. "That's good to know. So how many will this one make for you?"

Hakaya looked down at her bump, "well this litter is five, so overall that will make seven."

"Nice." Elizabeth responded. "Do you still have issues being petted?" she inquired of Hakaya. "That reputation you have is still around... Its going away slowly though... Rachael loves you guys.... Oh you should hear her speak of you."

Hakaya sighed while Ryuukei explained. "Hakaya has never had issues being petted, its being surprise grabbed that was always the problem." Ryuukei then leaned over and rubbed Hakaya's cheek, and she gave an acknowledging purr.

"Figures... The rumor mill says that Hayaka is this walking horror of a person... I still recall what Rachael did to the last person who said that to her." the tall woman winced. "She smashed his nose flat with one punch...in my presence no less.." she explained with a sigh. "I think people... just need to learn to shut up.... anyway.." she sighed before she turned to Ryuukei. "I need a little help.... see I've hit a snag in my research... Into Akurian sexual positions.. its in case I end up counseling an Akurian because as you know, I'm a certified counselor and I need to be prepared for all eventualities including sex, especially among those of us who are not human.. which honestly is the majority."

Ryuukei paused, not knowing at all what to say to this question. After taking a moment he tried to answer. "Well, I can tell you this much, due to differences in anatomy, our positions aren't the same as most humanoids. Unfortunately I am not all that familiar with how humans do it so I cant make the best comparison. Plus while most Bevokris order species have similar anatomy, there are differences in positioning when dealing with different species of different sizes. Are you looking for something like a book on the matter."

"Sure... if you have one.." she paused. "I'll also need a translation matrix." she added. "I can't speak or read your language... Rachael however can... so I'll see if I can borrow her to help with this.."

Ryuukei nodded. "Well, I didn't bring a computer with me so we would need to go to one of our ships to look through the database, but if you like I can describe to you what I know. Though I am sure the bartender would appreciate us not doing any demonstrations in public. I know most humanoids are a little more prudish than a Bevokris in regards to sex."

Elizabeth chuckled softly. "Most are rather prudish... I personally am not but that was because I was raised with a blending of both Human and Halanan." the tall woman smiled. "Besides.. my siblings were raised with that mindset too... the Unals.. I think they were raised as full Halanan.."

Hakaya got very cuddly with Ryuukei, then commented," You know, I wouldn't mind giving them a demonstration."

Ryuukei without thinking about it rubbed Hakaya on the rear, saying," Yeah but definitely not here, don't need to give our brother any more headaches."

Hakaya purred and replied. "Ah don't worry too much about it, besides, we should just invite him along anyway, our quarters are open and available."

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "Thats one way of getting it done." she responded. "Anyway I believe in being prepared for all eventualities if I'm helping someone with counseling, this includes sex in all forms."

Ryuukei decided to start off with the basics. "Well it is worth noting, most Bevokris in general are rarely monogamous. So the whole marriage thing that you humanoids do simply doesn't exist in most Bevokris cultures. Likewise Bevokris are also very rarely strictly heterosexual or homosexual. The vast majority have no problems having sex with someone of the opposite gender one day, then the same gender the next day. Those that strictly prefer one gender or the other are kinda rare. Now this doesn't mean a Bevokris is likely to get it on with complete stranger, its usually limited to friends and good associates. So don't expect to deal with a marriage crisis or a problem with sexual identity out of a bevokris. Now there are a few species and cultures that do have something similar to a marriage custom, but I know of a book I can provide you that will give you information in that detail. But I warn you, its going to be a big book, because there are over 90 separate species in the Bevokris order alone."

Elizabeth nodded. "Thats fine... Like I said.. I'll get Rachael to help me with reading Akurian and translating it." the tall female responded. "That woman needs something to do when she's not looking after her children."

Hakaya had her Tail curled around Ryuukei while he added. "Oh yeah and its also worth noting, that at least for an Akurian, if they let you pet them, you can pretty much pet them anywhere and they wont mind, for example rubbing our butts is not considered a sexual advance generally speaking."

Elizabeth held her silence a moment. "Okay.." she responded hesitantly. "Alright... So should I expect a package soon?" she inquired of Ryuukei.

Hakaya then remembered something,"Oh wait, right I think I have something you can use right here." She picked up her padd and pulled up the book. "Yep, I have it right here, its a lot of reading though."

Ryuukei was about to ask why Hakaya would have such a thing, but then he remembered her artistic talent, and her tastes. Ryuukei decided not to mention that Hakaya had her tail lifted up high in the air and was unintentionally mooning half the green dragon, or giving them a show, depending on their interpretation. A few people where starting to notice.

Elizabeth was noticing the people all looking and noticing. "Hakaya... Your tail." she said quietly. "You're giving people a show." she added before she receved the PADD. "I'll give this the once over between counseling sessions.."

hakaya went over and resumed cuddling with Ryuukei. "So, I don't care, I have a pretty butt, why would I be shy about it."

Elizabeth opened her mouth to say something but she stopped. "Well.. What can I say?" she inquired. "So... This will help me with my request.."

Ryuukei nodded, then something else just occurred to him. "Wait a minute, are you planning on trying out some of that for yourself."

Elizabeth chuckled softly. "What if I am... I can ask my husband to assist me with it." as a rather sinister smile appeared on the tall womans face. "Nothing like trying new ways to have sex to keep a relationship fresh.."

Ryuukei sighed and mentioned. "Well I wish you luck, but unless I am forgetting something about Humanoid anatomy, most Bevokris sex positions are simply impossible for a human to perform, because male anatomy points in a different direction when erect compared to a human. The well known doggie position for example. Normally for you humans the female is the one in that position, but for our species, only the male can be in that position."

Elizabeth chuckled softly. "Don't worry about it... Kameron and I will make it work... We're always trying something new." she had a wide smile on her face. "The next one is Bolian Water wrestling... That promises to be.... Interesting."

Ryuukei raised an eyebrow but then mentioned. "Well I'm not sure how you could figure it out but there is Tovor style too."

"I will keep it in mind as I abuse my husband." Elizabeth responded with a smile. "Besides.. We tend to get very creative... but a word to the wise... avoid Andorian." she paused. "It gets confusing."

Hakaya looked at the padd in Elizabeth's hand then commented. "Well I think I need to teach Ryuukei here a few more techniques." She then gently nibbled his ear.

"Alright then." The tall female responded with a soft chuckle. "I will leave you to the teaching... and once I get the translated version of this text... the reading of the information contained within."

Ryuukei didn't really have anything else to say on the matter, partially thanks to Hakaya being very distracting.
