Mission: Mission 72: T'Would Ring the Bells of Heaven
Location: Various Locations - USS Courageous
Timeline: 0830Hrs - April 9th, 2392

Lieutenant Hae Min Lee went into sickbay, wearing her standard duty uniform rather then the maternity uniform she had been wearing for months, a smile appeared at she regarded the other woman. "Hey Calliope." she greeted her crewmate and friend. "You wanted some advice on having babies?" she inquired.

Lieutenant Pravdin smiled as she nodded. "Yes.. I do." as she shifted to the shorter womans slim abdomen which before had been large and round not even two weeks beforehand. "You got some time to go over things..?"

"I'm going to restock the second sickbay up in the tower pad... Could you come give me a hand or two?"

"Of course." Pravdin responded. "I'll let Doctor Haig know where we'll be." and with that Pravdin went over to the Doctors office. "Doctor Haig... Mind if I bug you a moment?"

Haig smiled as she set down the PADD in her hands. "Sure Calliope.. What can I pester you.. I mean bug you, err I mean hit on you.. or bother you for?"

Pravdin smiled, she found Haig a true pleasure to work with despite the fact that some didn't like dealing with Haig, her bedside manner needed polish, she was too harsh with some and she was also not subtle or gentle. In short some said this woman had no filter and wasn't able to do the job she had. Pravdin however disagreed with that.

"Well.. I'm going to go up to the tower sickbay and take Hae Min Lee with me. I want to go over a few things with her about children..."

"Fair enough... I assume you want information about having children?" Haig responded.

"I do yes... John and I are discussing it and I want to ensure that I'm prepared for that sort of abuse." Pravdin smiled gently at the shorter woman. "Thank you Rachel."

Haig regarded the other woman as she produced a PADD. "I anticipated your request... so I took the time to write this up for you. Its my experiences in having children... Most of those are my personal logs edited for your viewing pleasure."

Pravdin paused as she gently accepted the PADD. "Thank you Rachel." she paused. "I appreciate that.." as she opened her medkit and slipped the PADD into the kit out of sight, before closing the kit a second time. "Thank you Doctor."

Haig nodded. "Anything else.?"

"No Doctor... Thanks for this." Pravdin responded before Haig dismissed the younger woman.

Hae Min Lee smiled as the other woman came over to her. "Shall we go?"

"Yeah. Lets get out of here." and with that the two women departed sickbay. Ten minutes later they entered the tower sickbay which was just off of the flight deck. Pravdin went over to the large supply cabinet to check the supplies. "We're good here... What do you need from me over where you are Lee?"

Hae Min Lee regarded the shelves before her. "So.. What did you need to know?"

"I want to know more about having a child... The sex part however I'm good about... John abuses me on a nightly basis." she then smiled.

Hae Min Lee chuckled. "Sounds like Rachael with me.."

Pravdin smiled. "So... What should I expect?"

"Well.. It changes things like your hormones." Lee smiled. "Your skeleton becomes armored and your body becomes a fortress for the baby growing inside you." she explained as she came over to Pravdin with a smile on her lips. "You just need to change your activities and tone down the abusive sex with your husband as he too needs to change his outlook on this too."

Pravdin listened as the asian female before her explained herself as Hae Min Lee gently placed her hand on Pravdin's shoulder. "You'll have fun and enjoy yourself while doing this... But you will have issues and problems along the way.." as the two discussed the issue before them both.
