Mission: Mission 72: T'Would Ring the Bells of Heaven
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0900Hrs - April 6th, 2392

The Runabout came in for a landing in the USS Roanoke's tower pad, it was only here long enough to land, offload these two dozen people, then turn and be gone. "Okay guys, this is your pilot speaking.. listen up... I got two minutes to land, offload all you guys and leave because I'm interfering with flight ops on this here Carrier... So make sure you got all your luggage ready to go with you, there isn't no lost luggage terminal at this here starport. Last time I was on the deck ninety seconds and I had more cargo then."

The Runabout landed with a thump, as the pilot popped open both port and starboard hatches. "Go guys go!"

Ouros was second out the door, she had a large pack on her back and a second in her hand, she was also wearing civilian clothing. "Hey Elizabeth. What are you doing here!" someone called in her general direction except she didn't realize this person was talking directly to her.

The pilot came into step beside her. Ouros regarded him as she didn't know who the man was who was next to her. "Beth... didn't you-"

"I am not Elizabeth Yamaguchi. I am her twin sister." Ouros responded evenly. "Oh.. I'm sorry. I didn't know Elizabeth had a twin.."

"Its.. complicated."

"How so... You both look alike."

"Yes." Ouros responded in a dry tone of voice. "We are related after all."

"Right..Umm.. Okay then." he sighed. "I'll just umm.. leave you to it." as Yamaguchi walked on right out of the hanger, she turned left and went down the hall towards her next destination which at this time was the quartermasters office.

A few minutes went by as Yamaguchi entered her destination. "Hello." she greeted the person behind the desk who was what she assumed to be a young Ensign, he opened his mouth. "Good Morning Ms Yamaguchi. What can I do for you?"

"I'm .. here to pick up m,y room assignment.." Ouros Yamaguchi paused, clearly she wasn't expecting this.

The man nodded as he produced a PADD. "Here you go. Welcome aboard." as he regarded her with a smile. "I heard you were coming today and I took a moment to read your file... so I can match the right room to the right person."

"Ahh.." Yamaguchi smiled. "Thank you Ensign.."

The man nodded as Ouros took her leave, her next stop was to go check out her new home and settle in before reporting for duty.

Ouros reached her new location a few minutes later, she tapped the door panel twice before entering her authorization code. The door slid open and the tall woman went in. Ouros found herself with a female science officer she didn't know. "Hello."

"Hey... Your Urruros.. right... Wait did I pronounce that right?" Warrant Officer 2nd Class Shael Jaest responded. "Oh.. where are my manners... Shael Jaest.." the small Bajoran smiled.

"Close enough," Ouros answered. "It's started with an elongated Ooohh sound rather then the short You sound." the taller woman smiled down at the shorter Bajoran female. "Probably the same place as my own manners... Ouros Yamaguchi..." she paused "So... we share a room?"

"If you want?. I wasn't sure so I left the second bedroom alone just in case you wished it. I know some want their space but I'm not too fussed either way."

"Well I don't mind sharing a room... I mean whats the worst that could happen... You bring home a guy and you end up in bed together... I mean I'd probably want to join in rather then go hide." Ouros explained. "I tend to be rather unusual for one of my species.."

"Nice... I hate prudes..." The Bajoran responded. "So.. you prefer men?"

"I'm not fussed actually... Men or women." Ouros responded. "Its never wise to bed one's roommate... Causes all kinds of issues."

"Aye.. It does." Shael responded, a wide grin on her face. "It doesn't mean I can't want to try it... I've never actually been with a woman before."

"Well, I tell you what... Let's spend the next few weeks getting to know each other first... and we can discuss it as we go... alright?"

"Sounds good." Shael responded. "I assume you've been with a woman before?"

"Actually... No." Ouros answered. "Just men who were rather worthless in bed.." the tall woman sighed softly. "Anyway... I'm going to move my stuff in here... If we're going to spend time together... We might as well share the one room and use the other bedroom for.. whatever we need to use it for... "

"No... leave a bed in there, one of us might end up on a different shift to the other person." Shael answered, a wide smile on her face. "It'll be great. you'll see.."

"Indeed it will," Ouros answered, with a smile on her own face as she followed the small Bajoran female into the bedroom, duffel over her shoulder.
