"Yep." Rachael answered. "I'll take Sarah along too... Daniel can remain in daycare." the larger woman answered, before Saki cheered, expressing her joy at the statement.

Rachael nocked an arrow before she launched it into the target. "I'm worried about you spending time with Zara.," Rachael admitted. "I know you can't remember what happened.."

"Yeah... One moment I remember something loud going crunch... Next thing I know.. I'm in Roanoke's sickbay... What did happen?" Saki inquired. "I can't remember anything... I've tried." the small child complained, her breathe was like a small cloud of vapor.

Rachael regarded Saki. "What happened... Was you almost died." Rachael let out a soft sigh, clearly, she didn't like thinking about what happened that day.

"What?" Saki paused. "How come I don't remember it?" the small child inquired while she looked confused.

"That's because... You slipped on the cold and wet surface of the tank, the escape the turret before more falling debris came down on top of you, your footwear wasn't up to the task and you slipped, falling over and cracking your head on the armor before ending up in the river... " Rachael explained the sequence of events. "I read Lt Commander Hakaya Vakar's report on the matter but... Next time you are spending time with Zara... Ask her about it. She will tell you." Rachael responded.

Saki nodded her head. "I'll do that... Wait, you're letting me spend time with Zara again?" the small child inquired, hesitantly.

"Now I'm not against you two spending time together but I wanted to lay down a few ground rules with you before I tell her that... You two are not to leave the ship, other than that... you can spend time helping her with her activities but you are to behave Saki... This investigation into my competence to be your mother was because you said something stupid and someone caught you at it." Rachael responded. "I mean it Saki... I will be monitoring your activities.."

"Yes mom," Saki responded. "No more nice girl." the small child growled.

"That works too," Rachael responded with a smile. "You don't need to say anything to anyone you don't know.. But just don't be rude either, simply ignore them... Anyone gives you grief... Go see myself or Zara. Failing that then see your dad or anyone who shares our name.."

Saki nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, mom. I will do that."

"Alright... So long as you abide by these rules then I can let Zara know of the terms and conditions." Rachael responded, happy with this outcome. "When we go home... I draft my transfer request, to go work in another engine room and then I'll hand it in tomorrow before I go off to collect you from school then... It's the beach for us!" Rachael explained with a smile before she loosed off another arrow into her target while Saki's arrow missed and embedded itself into the ice wall next to the target.

Saki's disaffection was clear. "Dammit. missed!." the small child growled softly.

"Try again sweetie..." Rachael gently encouraged Saki, with a soft smile on her lips, she watched as Saki nocked an arrow before launching it into the target, a soft 'thud' could be heard as the arrow landed. "Could be better." the small child admitted.

"That's why we're here..." Rachael suddenly grinned. "To blow off steam and to shoot arrows...."

"It's not fair mom.," Saki complained. "I do everything right.. and I'm still in trouble... I'm tired of it all... I can't do it anymore."

"I know sweetie," Rachael responded while she drew another arrow while Saki fired two arrows into her target which now resembled more a pincushion rather then a flat target. "I could always go drive ships for a living rather then Starfighters..." Rachael regarded Saki. "I can easily train up to my previous levels of skills... and I can show you how my world used to work when I was younger."

Saki regarded her mother. "Sure mom, that sounds great."
