Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0830Hrs - June 24th, 2393

Fleet Captain Siaxx-Dvald-Vaxx moved down the hallway towards her next destination as the small Bolian female considered exactly what it was she wished to say to Celeste on the subject before the two women, she was going to serve as Celeste's exec and now she was facing the possibility that she would not be able to serve in that role for very long before being needed to be replaced by someone else due to her impending pregnancy.

Dvald-Vaxx tapped her combadge. "Dvald-Vaxx to Vaxx, Chen you got a moment?" she inquired of her spouse.

Meanwhile. Chen Vaxx was seated in his office with Commander Keyan Fardreamer, the human smiled as Vaxx paused. "Umm Siaxx I'm kinda in the middle of something."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were busy. I just wanted to update you was all."

Fardreamer smiled, he had a good idea of what the Master Chief's spouse was wanting to tell him. "Its okay Siaxx, the Master Chief was meeting me. Commander Fardreamer, we were discussing ways to address our various issues." Fardreamer explained with a smile.

"Oh, I apologize Commander." came the disembodied voice of Chen's wife.

"It's alright, do you want me to give you two a moment Siaxx?" Fardreamer commented, he knew full well he could have pressed ahead with the meeting but he also made it his goal to get to know the men and women who worked with him, as he saw everyone as parts of a machine and unless he took care of them, the machine didn't work right and he had to make the system work, but this didn't mean he needed to be an ass about things.

"No. Chen. I saw the Doctor and I came off the medication as we discussed. In two days we resume our march towards glory."

Chen clearly knew what his wife was talking about even if Fardreamer didn't. Fardreamer smiled as this was really none of his business but he was happy to help others with their issues and concerns, this was part of what he saw as his job and his efforts often made for happy people, if they were happy, then he was happy and his approach was very liberal. He didn't care who knew it, so long as the staff with him did their work then he saw fit to not run them like slaves to the machine.

Chen smiled. "Excellent news Siaxx. I will have my way with you later and I will make you howl my name as I do so." Chen was clearly not being subtle but then, he did not need to be subtle on the topic. Fardreamer was figuring things out for himself and it showed too.

"Outstanding. I look forward to you having your way with me." came the unexpected response from the female Bolian.

Chen sat back in his chair, a wide smile on his lips. "I will see you later tonight Siaxx, leave the kids with a babysitter and I will make it worth the wait," he commented

Fardreamer smiled but he was able to avoid laughing or snickering as Siaxx finished the call and disconnected. Chen smiled at Fardreamer. "Thanks for letting me take that call skipper."

"No worries Chen. I assume you and Siaxx are wanting to have another child?" Fardreamer's smile was starting to hurt at this point so he breathed out before he frowned, then he smiled again. "Well then. Let me be the first to congratulate you on this endeavor."

"Thanks, Keyan," Chen answered. "Hows things between you and your lady?" he inquired.

"Yulaan and I, well we're taking things slowly as we get to know each other as I do not want to rush into anything and neither does she. We have concerns that the unification will have me treating sex like its a drug and neither of us need that concern so we're taking things slow."

"Good, building a basis for a relationship is really important, It took a year for me and Siaxx when we were dating before we figured out that we had a future together and another year before our first child came along and we made things official between us, we'd been living together for over two years and all she and I had achieved together was because we had our own spaces for each other and for our family."

"Nice. Sounds like you two really figured things out." Fardreamer answered evenly.

"We had and still have our issues and concerns but then what working married couple doesn't. Take Kameron and Elizabeth for example." Chen sighed softly. "Siaxx and I babysat for those two for months, their son Robert, was easily the most demanding child I've ever encountered. I didn't figure out why but Siaxx did and she took to him the way a real mother would, she was always holding him and mothering him and the running gag now is that Siaxx is more his mother then Elizabeth is and it was Elizabeth who started that joke, one night over dinner while her son was asleep in the next room, sleeping next to our youngest. Heraar. When Siaxx figured out that Robert was colicky, she was able to take steps to help the little guy deal with it."

"Nice. We should all be so fortunate to have you and Siaxx around, Chen." Fardreamer smiled at the older Bolian male before him.

Meanwhile. Siaxx Dvald-Vaxx reached her destination as she regarded the yeoman who had been assigned to look after Yamaguchi-Hobbs's paperwork. "Can I help you, Captain?" he asked politely of the small Bolian female before him. He deliberately kept his eyes on hers so as not to mentally undress her.

"Uhh yeah, Hi." Dvald-Vax sighed as she had mentally bluescreened. "Can I see Celeste? it is not urgent but it's of a personal nature and she should be informed my situation might be changing over the next few months."

"Let me check." the young man rose to his feet and went into the office, the door slid closed behind him as Siaxx settled in to wait as he took her request to Yamaguchi-Hobbs. The yeoman returned a few moments later. "The Captain will see you now."

"Thanks," Dvald-Vax commented before she went into the office, she began to sashay her hips from side to side as she did so, putting on something of a show for the yeoman's eyes only as she turned her head, she gave him a rather sultry grin as she blew him a kiss.

The yeoman smiled as he enjoyed the show. Dvald-Vaxx smiled as she went over to the door before she proceeded to request admittance, she got it a moment later before she moved into Celeste's office.

Yamaguchi-Hobbs regarded the smaller Bolian female with a curious look in her eye. "Siaxx, what's up?"

Dvald-Vaxx's good humor and cheerfulness dissipated like a fog in the morning sun. "Celeste, I wanted to let you know that my situation will be changing over the next few months. Chen and I were discussing matters between us and I felt you had a right to know."

Yamaguchi-Hobbs paused, this was something she had not seen coming. "Oh no, Siaxx what's going on between you and Chen... Did he decide he wanted to leave you or something?"

"What?" Dvald-Vaxx paused before she shook her head. "No. That's not it at all. Chen and I are planning to have another baby."

"Oh." Yamaguchi-Hobbs's bad mood suddenly evaporated. "Siaxx, I had no idea... Congratulations... But I can see your issue.. and I appreciate the fact that you could come to me on it." the taller female rose to her feet before she came around her desk, moving to stand beside the small Bolian.

"Then you know why I come to you." Dvald-Vaxx regarded her with a certain sadness in her eyes as she watched her friend come over to her.

"I do," Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered. "You are not a large female Siaxx and you're going to have issues and concerns. Fortunately, I can find someone to assist you with matters. I will ask around after I assume command of the base and your situation becomes more clear over time."

"Thank you, Celeste. For caring." the small Bolian explained.

"Thank you Siaxx, for letting me know." the human female gently hugged the small Bolian female. "Keep me informed will ya.?"

"Willdo, anyway that's all I wanted of you," Dvald-Vaxx explained, a smile on her lips.

"No worries, drop by any time." Yamaguchi-Hobbs grinned down at her friend.

"I will." and with that, Dvald-Vaxx turned and departed in silence.
