Confrontations - Part One

Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0800Hrs - July 16th, 2393

Staff Warrant Officer Rachael Yamaguchi-Cullen knew she needed to do something about the situation that was brewing, she could no longer afford to put it off as she needed to deal with the dinosaur in the room. The trim athletic female smiled as she walked into the base medical facilities. She went over to the desk as she stood in silence, waiting for her turn to be addressed for her medical issues, wants and needs.

"Can I help you Warrant?" suddenly, the young man behind the desk, asked Rachael Yamaguchi-Cullen, interrupting her thoughts.

"Uhh Yeah, Hi. I'm here because I need to talk to Doctor Tienn Iteela. Its not a medical matter, more its a personal one as I am presently watching her children." the younger female explained, she knew that Tienn Iteela would be harder to track down then a ghost in the machine as Tienn tended to be very subtle in her comings and goings but this was right at the very end of Tienn's workday so Rachael was hoping she could track down the other woman before she left. Otherwise, this would get a lot more complicated than it needed to be.

The man behind the desk sighed. "I'm sorry, warrant, I think you missed her by about five minutes, she's clocked out and gone already."

"No worries." Rachael slowly smiled before she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi-Cullen to Tienn. Iteela, do you want to drop by to see your kids?" she inquired in a gentle tone of voice.

The com system responded with a loud yawn. "I'm sorry Rachael... maybe some other time mm??" Tienn sounded exhausted.

"When Tienn?. You keep blowing me off and they are your kids in the eyes of the law so I can't exactly demand full custody off of you."

There was a loud sigh. "Rachael, can we have that chat ton-." she was interrupted with another loud yawn. "I'm sorry, it's been a really long night."

"You say that just about every morning," Rachael answered but she was rewarded with the com system being disconnected. Tienn had hung up on her, and Rachael saw red on the subject so she asked the computer for Tienn's location the computer answered that the woman was in her quarters. Rachael turned and moved off down the hallway. She reached Tienn's quarters a few minutes later so she tapped the door chime before she settled in for the with, she then tapped the door chime a second time thirty seconds later. "Tienn, answer the fucking door," Yamaguchi-Cullen growled loudly.

Tienn Iteela sighed softly as she answered it a moment later. "Oh, it's you." Tienn sighed softly.

"Yeah, it's me, we need to talk Tienn because I've put this off too long as it is," Yamaguchi-Cullen answered. "Did you think I'd be okay with you hanging up on me? come on, you know better." Yamaguchi-Cullen added.

"Clearly, I am to get no sleep until I deal with you first so. Out with it, what's the issue this time?" Tienn added. "Nebris can't help you?"

"Nebris at least makes an effort. For how much longer. Who can say... I think he wants to start transitioning back to being female Rrr Eff Enn. Between you and me, He has found being male to be a truly miserable existence so he wants to go back to what he had." Yamaguchi-Cullen was in a truly pitiless mood, it was showing too. "Sit down, let me explain this all to you since he can't do it himself. I'll do it for him. Because something about you scares him... Except it's not you, it's your dogs. They scare him witless."

"He never told me," Tienn answered quietly.

"He shouldn't have to. He would not have made you choose between him and them," Yamaguchi-Cullen explained. "He found being a male, a truly miserable existence and he's already booked the medical appointments needed for his operations and gender transitioning, I think they will use some of the Akurians medical technology to assist them in growing new organs for him. So when he's finished transitioning from male to female, he will have new organs waiting for him and within six months, he'll be back to being Lasarra again. Just like Shorin who had that one child with Siaxx."

"Why didn't he tell me any of this?" Tienn answered.

"Because of you Tienn. You have a very bad habit of not listening, what's more, is that you also have the same habit of not caring." Yamaguchi-Cullen hammered her points home, one after another. "You have issues you need to resolve. Stop fucking me around and resolve them already."

"Or what?" Tienn inquired.

"Or I take you to court and demand full custody of these two babies I'm looking after," Yamaguchi-Cullen answered. "Do not fuck with me Tienn... Don't fuck with me the way you did with Elizabeth or Saki. Because I will make you suffer in ways you can not imagine."

"Don't fucking start with me at this hour woman. Fuck I'm too tired for this." Tienn sighed as she yawned for the third time in the last twenty minutes.

"Did you not hear a fucking word I just said?" Yamaguchi-Cullen inquired. "Nebris also does not care about the kids so one of us is going to raise them. either it's you... or it'll be me and frankly, I think they are better with me."

The door opened and out came Jaina, she regarded Yamaguchi-Cullen with her yellow eyes as she growled ever so softly. Yamaguchi-Cullen regarded the third littermate to Grey Wolf and Nymeria. "When did you brush her last?" Yamaguchi-Cullen suddenly asked.

"About two weeks ago... Why?" Tienn inquired, confused with the change of subject.

Yamaguchi-Cullen gave Tienn a look that was neither one of pity or mercy. "Do not let Elizabeth see her, or she will kill you," Yamaguchi-Cullen added with a rather evil grin. "After what you did to her, she is owed payback. To say nothing of what you did to Kameron."

"That was a long time ago." Tien sighed, defeated as she knew she would never live that incident down. She knew Elizabeth had forgiven her but the two had never been able to repair the damage to their friendship. Elizabeth had always kept Tienn at arm's length ever since and she always went ten miles out of her way to always have someone else in the room whenever Tienn was present. While Elizabeth had forgiven, she had not forgotten and neither did she trust Tienn either.

"You beat her half to death. See, let me tell you something woman. I never bought the drugs explanation, I never accepted that you were a victim of this, I always believed that you were malicious and what you did was deliberate. Otherwise, why do you still beg her forgiveness?"

"Get out," Tienn answered a moment later, it was clear that she had run out of things to say and had no more patience for this argument.

"Sure, but first, let me explain to you, just what is happening here." Yamaguchi-Cullen slowly smiled, it was unsettling to Tienn as she knew the other woman was about to say something that was, in her own eyes, incredibly stupid.

"Once I leave here, I'm going to have security open an animal neglect case at you, then I will explain to Elizabeth, the particulars of this case. So she is prepared for your level of insanity that you will no doubt bring her so she has to clean up after you, yet again." Yamaguchi-Cullen regarded her with a smile. "If Kameron hated you before, he is going to fucking love you now."

Tienn sighed. "Go away woman, leave me to my misery." she sighed.

Yamaguchi-Cullen regarded the other woman with a look of neither pity or forgiveness, it was one of cold contempt. "You don't deserve the keys out of this jail Tienn, considering you are your own jailer. But when word of an animal neglect case gets out and I demand custody of your kids, I suspect this will get very very fucking stupid for you."

Tienn knew that the other woman had her. "What do you want?" she sighed. "Fine, keep the kids. I'll have custody transferred to you."

"What makes you think you are in a position to bargain with me?" Yamaguchi-Cullen answered in a flat tone.

"Well, clearly you want something from me, so you can keep the kids," Tienn responded, utterly defeated.

"Tienn. You will not change, you will not sort yourself out and start paying attention to the blatantly obvious." Yamaguchi-Cullen answered quietly. "Why should I take your word that you will. Your twin has nine kids and has a full-time job, in addition to a spouse who is a Klingon. What's she doing right that you are doing wrong?" Yamaguchi-Cullen explained. "I'll tell you what she does right, she knows what she wants to do and how to do it, she then has her spouse help her with the raising of the children they have together, you think you are alone and Nebris is not a man, he's not even a sentient being in your eyes."

"That's not true!" Tienn snapped back at her,

"Then why the fuck, have you allowed this situation to get so out of hand that he is ready to go back to a life he hated, just to get away from you. I'll be surprised if Nebris even gives you the time of day now. He hates your ever living guts woman."

That was then the two dogs approached, barking loudly. Yamaguchi-Cullen turned as one of them ran past her as they moved to Tienn's side, clearly they were protecting their mistress from what they perceived as a threat. "I've made my point. Do something about the fur on these dogs and clean up this hovel before I have you reported... Tienn, make no mistake, this is not over.!" and with that. Yamaguchi-Cullen turned and stormed out of the other woman's quarters.

Tienn sat down on the sofa as she felt her life implode around her. The tall female burst into tears as she felt her life fall apart like smoke in a room.
