Confrontations - Part Two

Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0900Hrs - July 16th, 2393

Captain Nebris Yamaguchi was sitting in his office, he was looking at paperwork as he needed to get a lot done today when suddenly the doorbell rang. "It's open!" Nebris called, expecting to see one of his pilots but it was his estranged girlfriend who entered. "What did you say to her?" Tienn demanded off of him, by way of saying hello.

Nebris regarded her as he gently placed his PADD down on his desk. "I assume you mean Rachael. I told her that she could keep T'Ree and Hobbie if she wished to raise them."

"You didn't even consult me first!?" the Bajoran female got angry. "Dammit, what the-" Tienn snarled before Nebris blew up at her.

"Godammit!" Nebris roared at her. "I've listened and you have shouted and complained about lots of things but enough, Its time for you to stop complaining about others and listen for a change..." as he shot out of his chair. "I am tired of dealing with you. Your dogs hate me and the rest of your family has made it clear that they do not like me in the least and part of that is my fault but some of it is also your fault too." Nebris snapped at her.

"Well in their defense, you aren't exactly the greatest guy out there." as soon as Tienn said it, it was the worst possible thing she could have said.

Nebris regarded her as the glass on his table suddenly imploded. "Dammit, Tienn. Why the fuck are you in this room, right now?"

"Because it's clear our relationship is history," Tienn answered. "You gave Rachael the custody of the kids.."

"Is that what all of this insanity is about?" Nebris demanded. "Because I couldn't measure up to be what you wanted from someone... Hello, newsflash, until this time last year I was a woman and I was happy to remain being a woman," he responded loudly. "Then I suddenly find that now I have to live with being a man in a reality I didn't understand with rules that are confusing and with people who are two-faced and egotistical." he suddenly ran out of steam as he fought to calm himself. "I hated my reality of origin but at least I knew what I was doing... At least I knew who and what I was.."

Tienn looked worn out and defeated, now she was also angry. "Why didn't you tell me any of this?"

"I did," Nebris answered. "I did tell you Tienn, you just didn't listen," Nebris answered. "Tienn, our relationship." Nebris winced as he gave her a sardonic look. "That is if we wish to call it that, has long since died. There is no way of resolving our issues from where I stand at this point... Unless I missed something?" he regarded her as he spoke. There was something about her that had enthralled him, he was truly happy to be with her and around her as she brought out something in him that he didn't know he had before now.

"No," Tienn answered quietly. "It's over... Our relationship is over." Tienn answered with an air of finality.

Nebris sighed softly, he didn't want to know about the children but he knew he had to ask, he expected her to throw it all back in his face and get really angry before storming off. "What of the kids?" as he braced himself for the inevitable. "Do you want them?, because you'll never let me keep them and I can't keep them anyway... I have too many issues to resolve."

"I gave them to Rachael. Permanently... Hopefully, she won't have me publicly castrated. For my other fuckups." Tienn answered softly. "Its what you wanted right?" Tienn asked him in a surly tone of voice.

"No." Nebris regarded her. "Tienn... seriously... You never bothered to ask me what I wanted... " as he looked at her. "I wanted you, me and the kids, as a family.,. I wanted a family, I wanted to take you to bed and fuck you within an inch of your life, ever night. I wanted to go surfing with you on Casperia Prime. I wanted many things." Nebris sighed as he ran out of steam. "I did NOT want this!" as he slapped his hands onto his desk, the bang of the impact bounced around the room and made Tienn jump.

Tienn sighed softly for the umpteenth time this morning. "I'm sorry Nebris, for everything that's gone wrong.." she didn't see any way to repair what had been destroyed in the fighting and feuding between herself and Nebris, their relationship had started quickly and had blazed quickly, had fallen apart just as quickly and she couldn't see what had gone wrong.

"So am I. Tienn," Nebris answered in a quiet tone of voice.

Tienn sighed softly. "When do you start your transition period?" she was referring to him going back to being female.

"Tomorrow," Nebris answered. "Why do you ask?"

"I'm just curious." Tienn sighed softly. "Is there anything else for us to discuss?" the tall female asked.

"No. I already moved out of your place and the kids have been tended to." Yamaguchi paused as he sighed. "No, there is... Nothing left to talk about..." he added in a soft tone of voice. "I am sorry it ended like this Tienn."

"Yeah.." she sighed softly as Tienn turned and departed in silence, there was nothing left to really talk about. Nebris sighed as he picked up the PADD he had been working on and he quickly went over it, only to find that he simply couldn't do it. "Fuck.." he sighed softly.
