Mission: Mission 57: The Northern Lights
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 0800Hrs - January 13th - 2392

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi was seated behind her desk as she regarded the small hologram floating before her, it was of her soon to be infant son. "Okay..." she mused aloud as she pointed to it with a stylus the taller woman held in her right hand. "I think I need to do a little therapy for you. Bucky." she addressed the hologram softly.

Celeste then sipped her glass of water as she frowned, which she seemed to do a lot most days now while she adjusted to serving as a baby carrier for a child she was confused about.

She noticed Zuko entering sickbay. "Morning skipper... what can I help you with?"

Zuko shrugged. "I don't know, some random unknown force from beyond my control compelled me to come to sickbay, and now here I am."

Yamaguchi regarded him. "Ahh... " she mused aloud. "My control of the force is improving.... Well now that you are here.... What can I do... for you?" as she regarded him with a toothy smile.

"Well I am just coming to see how you are doing," Zuko admitted," I know you are having a rough time with what the Klingon guy did to you. I cant be bothered to remember that turdpile's name."

Celeste smiled as she regarded him. "I'm alright.." she responded. "Really... Its been a pain adjusting to being pregnant with the little one but... at times I'm not sure of what to do with it." she sighed softly.

Zuko shrugged," Eh, well I have never been a parent so I cant exactly give parenting advice, sorry."

"Don't worry about it, its fine... I have three siblings and five cousins. I have plenty of advice... Both wanted and.. unwanted." Yamaguchi responded. "I can always pawn this child off to one of them if I needed to... and I know any one of my relatives would take him in." she paused. "Its the Klingoness he has... that is what bothers me."

Zuko remained silent, unsure of what to say on the matter. His feline ears picked up Celeste's stomach growling, prompting him to ask, " So want to join me and Selgae for breakfast in the lounge."

"Sure.." Yamaguchi paused. "Is Selgae going to want to make out with you or something?"

Zuko shrugged as he brushed off his tail. "That is a distinct possibility. Unfortunately I am kinda unfamiliar with how Caitian relationships work, so I am not sure."

Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow. "Caitian females tend to be the dominant ones in the relationship. She won't be subtle on the matter, especially if she's in season." she explained the particulars. "It really depends on her I guess... I've not had her in for a checkup in a while... I could do that..."

Zuko gave Celeste a look. "I don't think that is really necessary."

Celeste shrugged. "If you say so." she responded. "When is breakfast?"
she smiled. "Food is good."

Zuko opened the door to the lounge and saw Selgae was already present, getting her breakfast. So he went and grabbed himself a plate, and without paying attention he touched tails with Selgae.

Selgae smiled as she regarded Zuko. "Morning Skipper... The steaks are good... Celeste.. you joining us?"

"I am. Zuko here was kind enough to drag me out of my office, kicking and screaming." Yamaguchi responded lightly as she got herself a large bowel of cereal and a drink of orange punch, sweetened to taste.

Celeste and Selgae went over to a nearby table as they waited for Zuko to join them.

Zuko sat down at the table only moments after Selgae and Celeste, commenting, " Yeah, I figured Celeste needed a little time out of the office."

Selgae grinned at the other woman. "Ahh... Nice to know.." she responded. "Its good to see you out and about Celeste. I have been worried about you."

"Why is that?"

"Because you have been angry a lot recently." Selgae responded. "I can understand why.." as she smiled at the other woman. "But you have people here who care, we worry about you."

Yamaguchi ate a spoonful of her cereal as she listened to the younger woman.

Zuko then added. "And Celeste, do remember we are your friends, if you need anything, please ask."

"I will... thank you, the both of you." Celeste responded with a smile.
