Mission: Mission 57: The Northern Lights
Location: Various Locations - USS Stalingrad / USS Argonne
Timeline: 1030Hrs - December 29th, 2391

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi was presently taking the day off as she was lying on her girlfriends sofa, just enjoying the silence when she heard the doorbell beep at her.

Celeste was thankfully wearing some clothing this time so she didn't need to worry about greeting her visitor in the nude like she greeted Brianna last night when her girlfriend came home.

She rose to her feet, she was wearing a pair of jeans and a light grey hoodie, she went over to the door and found herself greeting her sibling. "Marie.." Celeste's surprise was complete. "Come in." she recovered somewhat and slowly as she permitted her sister entrance.

"Hey Celeste." Marie Yamaguchi regarded her twin who was not her twin.

Celeste smiled as she gave her sister a gentle hug. Marie gently held her sibling close. "Its good to see you Marie."

"Its good to be seen... I would have figured you'd try a disappearing act about now." Marie responded as she regarded her younger sister.

"Other then the bathroom. I'm not going anywhere." Celeste sighed softly.

"Ahh." Marie responded with a grin as her sibling withdrew into the nearby bathroom to handle affairs while Marie settled onto the sofa. "Mmm... comfy." she mused, while the door opened and in came another woman, one Marie didn't know yet she decided to make this one interesting. "Hey!" she greeted the unknown woman cheerfully as she came over to Hobbs. "So... Hows things with you?" Marie inquired, while posing as Celeste.

Meanwhile in the bathroom, Celeste was finishing her business as she was washing her hands, she could hear voices through the wall and she opted to wait to see what her girlfriend would do while she turned off the tap and then she began toweling her hands dry.

Celeste opened the door and stepped out of the bathroom but she hung back, wanting to see what Brianna would say to Marie.

"You seem to be in a better mood than you have been in a while." Brianna replied. "Is that because you are expecting lots of sex tonight?"

Marie chuckled softly. "I am yes." she responded with a smile as Celeste emerged from the shadows. "She however needs it.. where I don't." Marie indicated Celeste who was approaching.

Brianna sighed. "Really Celeste?. Why can't you have a normal family?"

Marie's smile widened. "Thats because we are normal.. for ourselves."
she explained. "When I go home. I expect my husband to.." she paused as she grinned at Hobbs.

Celeste indicated Marie. "Well she isn't wrong you know... She gets nailed often by her husband."

Marie nodded. "I have the babies to prove it.." she turned to Hobbs. "So I meet the legend at last... I didn't think anyone could tie down Celeste here."

Celeste sighed. "Marie..." she shook her head before she moved off into the kitchen.

Marie watched her younger sister move away. "She's right you know.."
she said to Hobbs.

"Why should I have gotten used to be surprised by your family by now? And yet I still am." Brianna asked Marie.

Marie smiled. "Well... Well that can't be a bad thing... right.. I mean James and Daniel have families and so do I." she regarded the other woman. "Celeste once said to me that she'd never find anyone... so she got used to life being single." she let out a sigh. "I know it was over something that happened when she was an Ensign but she refused to talk to any of us about it.."

"I guess that is the chaotic beauty of life, you never know what it will bring." Brianna replied.

Marie nodded her head. "Yes... the insanity that is my daily grind." she chuckled softly. "With seven children and an overly demanding husband... My schedule is always full.."

"Seven..." Celeste inquired. "I thought you had six."

"The Stalingrad dear." Marie responded. "You know what thats like right?" the slightly shorter woman said to Hobbs.

"Actually, no. I have no idea what that is like." Brianna told Marie, still trying to wrap her head around seven children.

Marie gently touched Hobb's shoulder. "Its very demanding and I am always busy. If my family doesn't need me then I'm in command of my ship. sitting in the center seat." she explained. "I'm the Commander of the Stalingrad. My seventh baby." Marie regarded Hobbs. "Same as Argonne's marine command is yours."

"So, as if commanding a bunch of young and immature marines isn't enough you produced seven offspring." Brianna mused.

"No.. I produced six offspring." Marie responded lightly. "My husband is a Cardassian... you know how they are in terms of kids. Considering he was a refugee and he took my last name as his own... That should tell you something about Horus."

Brianna gently shook her head in confusion. "No, I don't know who Horus is."

Celeste tossed the comment to Hobbs. "Horus is the one nailing my sister to the wall three times a day." she said as a matter of fact. Marie didn't even try to deny it. "What... he likes sex and so do I."

"Oh, he must be very virile man?" Brianna asked.

Marie smiled. "Well lets just say.... I have no complaints." she chuckled softly. "How about you?" she inquired of Hobbs.

"Um... would you be offended if I told you that was none of your business?" Brianna asked with a nervous smile.

"Not at all." Marie responded. "But you'll find that we tend to tell each other everything. There is no topics that are of limits in this family... Like sex." she explained.

Celeste sighed. "Marie... Stop picking on her.."

Brianna giggled. "I never know what to expect with your family, Celeste."

"Yes... well what can I say.... We are an unusual bunch..." Celeste responded with a smile.

"I would call that an understatement." Brianna replied. "I'm almost afraid to be around during a holiday."

Marie and Celeste shared a smile. "We're actually not that bad.." Celeste commented. "Dad will be civil and mom... well she;'s downright hostile to just about everyone."

"I'm not sure I want to understand your definition of hostile." Brianna mused.

Celeste and Marie both shared a look. "She's protective of her kin... She doesn't get along with her own family but she's protective of ours." Marie explained. "She will be fair with you... same as she was with T'Rae. Horus and Bronwyn.." Celeste responded. "She'll want to be sure that you are not a threat to me..." she paused. "Mom is pragmatic and protective of her children.. Anyone who hurts them faces her."

"I will remember that when I'm tempted to yell at you for leaving the bathroom lights on." Brianna half joked while swallowing nervously.

Celeste chuckled softly. "Mom is... well she's an odd one.."

Marie raised an eyebrow. "She just got shafted in various things before she met Dad.... It took Dad several years to straighten her out but she really is a nice lady."

"A nice lady who will rip out my throat if I hurt Celeste?" Brianna asked.

"Celeste fights her own battles... We don't need mom to fight them. She however taught us how to defend ourselves..." Marie explained patiently. "When you meet her, you will understand."

"I'm going to meet her?" Brianna asked with a little concern in her voice. "Is there a date set?"

"No." Celeste responded. "But she will be there at the reception but not the wedding."

"Oh, good. I look for forward to that encounter." Brianna almost whined.

Celeste gently placed her hands on Brianna's shoulders. "Don't worry about it. She knows you're keeping me sane with the little one." she indicated her abdomen where her child was developing slowly.

"Alright, I trust you to protect me from your family." Brianna laughed. "I love you."

Celeste smiled. "I love you too." she responded with a smile. "Don't worry about mom. She's not the one you live with.. she's also not helping me with my son... You are.."

Brianna smiled at Celeste and gently rubbed her belly. "Jackson will grow up strong."
