Mission: Mission 55: The Measure of a Woman
Location: Hot Springs Sixteen - ASFS Ryazar's Shield
Timeline: 1900Hrs - December 19th, 2391

Talon Yamaguchi had come to Hot Springs Sixteen as it was the one closest to her quarters, she preferred this one as if was often underpopulated, many people of her crew seemed to avoid this one as it wasn't the largest and didn't have a lot of amenities here.

In truth, Talon often came here to swim, to work out and to bathe, mostly she was joined by a handful of Akurians but today, the place was empty, this suited her mood just fine.

Talon was still coming to terms with that fact that she was pregnant, the news was still fresh and she was still processing it as Sammy Yeager, Davijaan's daughter from a previous liaison was busy teaching the children how to swim in another Hot Springs Location. Talon knew that Sammy preferred Hot Springs Fourteen as it was shallower then Sixteen. She could lie down and simply float while doing homework on waterproof PADD's

This left Talon free to approach Davijaan with the news, she was wearing a black one piece singlet and he was wearing a dark red pair of shorts, which left his figure visible, he was also covered in dark red tribal tattoos from the base of his neck all the way down to his feet. Talon knew they were everywhere.

"Talon. You look like you got something you need to share." Yeager regarded her.

Talon nodded her head, not trusting herself to speak as she walked into the water, Yeager followed just behind her as the two ducked behind a nearby outcropping of rocks, so they could be alone before she sat down in the knee deep water, it was now up just over her breasts. Yeager sat down behind her as he gently encircled her body with his own, as he gently drew her into his embrace. "Whats wrong?"

Talon turned her head as she regarded him. "I ... I have some news.." she paused as Yeager regarded her with a measure of trepidation and concern. "Go on..."

"I'm... I'm pregnant Davijaan..." Talon answered softly.

"Oh.." Yeager paused. "I see..." he sighed softly as he gently began massaging her shoulders, through her suit.

"No... I know who the father is...." Talon responded. "You." she added.

Yeager gently held her closer against him. "I... I didn't know."

"Thats alright... Neither did I..." Talon responded softly. "I guess the sex was that good hmm?"

"Well I have no complaints." Yeager responded. "You made any decisions yet?"

"Well.. I'm not going to abort, if thats what you mean... This child deserves a chance at life and I won't deny it that."

"Okay." Yeager responded. "Then we'll take it a day at a time.."

"We?" Talon inquired.

"Yes." Yeager responded. "I want to be involved... Even through I have no right-" he stopped as Talon turned in his embrace before she gently hugged him. "You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that.."

"It'll be alright... You wouldn't have told me if you were not a hundred percent sure this baby was mine." Yeager responded gently with a soft smile. "The least I can do... is care about it.. and you... Besides, your kids like having me around."

"Sam and I get along... She worries about you."

"Because she thinks I'll end up being a widower all my life..." he regarded Talon. "I don't think thats going to happen..."

"No." Talon responded. "But if you want to be involved with this baby then I welcome your assistance." she explained.

"I'll be there.." Yeager responded as he gently held Talon in his arms.
