Location: Various Locations - USS Tranquility
Timeline: 1815Hrs - November 28th. 2391

Rachael Yamaguchi was cooking dinner as Sarah was talking to her, when she felt a sudden surge of emotion, she turned her head. "Saki?" she asked softly.

Sarah blinked at her stepmother. "What?"

"Something is wrong. Its Saki."

"What happened.?"

Rachael turned her attention back to Sarah as she had to blink tears out of her eyes. "I don't know..." as she placed the dish in her hands onto the table. "Could you look after things here while I go get her?"

"Yeah. I got this mom." Sarah responded with concern in her tone.

Rachael smiled as she snatched her uniform jacket off of the sofa before she went over to the door, before she tugged on her boots that made her feet hurt, before she went out the door.

Rachael was moving down the hall as the hail came in. "Transporter Room Two to Yamaguchi?" the officer in question addressed her by her callsign rather then by name.

Rachael Yamaguchi sighed softly as she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi. Go?"

"Your daughter is apparently wanting to beam over here, could you come collect her?"

The female pilot nodded her head despite the fact that she was less then twenty years. "I'm already on my way." and with that said, she rounded the corner, then she stopped at the second door which opened before her. "Energize Chief."

"Wow, that was fast.." he nodded. Yessir."

Saki appeared before her as she rushed into her mothers arms. "Mommy!"

"Come on sweetie, lets take you home.." Yamaguchi gently gave her daughter a hug. "Tell me what happened?. Did Zara do something stupid?"

"No... I went looking... for my biological father.." Saki got out between sobs as the two of them went down the hallway. "I found him... he's here ... in the battle.. group.." she added, between sniffles. "He... was unkind.."

"Paul Harrison is a child sweetie.." Yamaguchi closed her eyes as she recalled him in her memories, she saw him in her minds eye when the two of them had sex that one time years ago from Rachael's perspective. "It was... long ago." she responded as she gently rubbed Saki's shoulder. "It'll be okay sweetie... "

"I am going to hurt him.." Saki growled in anger.

"No... You're not... Let your grandmother handle it." Yamaguchi then smiled. "I'll mention it to her the next time Mom and I talk okay?"

Saki nodded her head in a jerky fashion but she didn't say anything other then "Kay."

"Now.. Lets go home... the kitties and Sarah miss you. Dad's working late tonight so.. you two get me all to yourselves."

"Good.. Dad is much nicer then that .... bastard!"

Yamaguchi blinked, she has never heard of Saki swearing with this level of rage in her voice. "Saki... I will need to get the recording from that conversation..."

"Oh... I wanted to surprise you..." the small child produced an isolinear rod which she then handed to her mother. "Here... its.. what was said."

Yamaguchi gently plucked the chip from her daughter's hand, while she let out a soft sigh. "I'll watch this after you've gone to bed... So you won't need to go through it again k?"

Saki nodded as the two reached home, her mother walked into their quarters first followed by Saki.

Rachael went over to the sofa where she sat down, Saki climbed into her mothers arms as Rachael gently held her daughter against her. "It'll be okay.."

Saki didn't say anything as she cried into her mom's shoulder.

Rachael gently soothed her daughter with gentle words. "It'll be alright."

"What Happened?" Sarah inquired.

"Saki tried looking for her biological father who told her bluntly that she was pranking him then he threatened her and then hung up on her."

"Oh Wow," Sarah responded. "That's umm.... yeah."

Saki looked up at her mother. "I umm.."

"Don't worry about it. Go on, hang out with the kitties... Let them know you love them while I watch this kay?"

"Yeah mom." and with that Saki hopped off of her mother's lap and the sofa onto the floor before she went away quietly. Rachael then slunk off to the workstation that Ennis kept for paperwork reasons. She slid the chip home and watched the video play with trepidation which slowly escalated into full on horror and disgust. Rachael tapped the display as the display ended. "Computer, open a channel to Torilla Yamaguchi on the Courageous."

"Negative. The USS Courageous is not inside hailing range." the computer responded as Rachael recalled that the Courageous was missing at present, she suddenly felt very alone as she didn't have her mothers assistance or guidance anymore, while the thought went through her mind, a wave of goosebumps went up her back.
