Echos of Winter - Part One

Mission: Mission 50: This Grey Spirit
Location: Various Locations - USS Spirit of Winter
Timeline: 1830Hrs - November 24th. 2391

Gabriel Yamaguchi was sitting next to his wife in a corner booth, the two were having a gentle romantic evening alone with no children, they had managed to convince Autumn Yamaguchi, a woman who shared more then just their family name, she was also kin because she too was a Yamaguchi in blood as well as name. Her girlfriend warmed instantly to the task as Ajal decided she would help Autumn with babysitting.

Savannah have her husband a mischievous look. "You worry too much.."

"Considering my elder sister is crazy. my younger sister is a fighter pilot like Dad used to be... I can't help but worry about then."

"I know... but Elizabeth needs to figure out whats important to her in life.." Savannah smiled. "Like I did when we were at the academy."

"Do you have regrets?" Gabriel asked softly.

"None. You were always an officer and a gentleman with me." Savannah responded with a warm smile. "Your family took me in and gave me something I didn't even know I was lacking.... You still blame yourself for our medical troubles.."

"I do.." Gabriel responded softly. "At times I feel I-"

"Don't Gabe.." Savannah genty shushed him as she gently kissed him. "I have no regrets. I have a husband and children of my own... I know you don't cheat on me... and my children have a loving and attentive father." she smiled. "You have always been too hard on yourself.... you shouldn't do it."

Gabriel nodded his head. "I know that I can never get these issues cured.."

"Actually.." Savannah smiled. "Go see the Akurians... I hear they have stupidly advanced medical technology... I know you still have issues from the time we saw Lieutenant Commander Furban... but I'm sure the Akurians will be nicer on the subject." Savannah smiled.

"Alright... We don't have any with us at the present time.... but I'll look into it."

"Good.... Thats all I ask husband of mine." Savannah smiled as she lifted her hand, indicating to the nearby waitresses and waiters that her table was ready to order, a young woman appeared and both Yamaguchi's placed their meal orders, the young woman vanished as the settled in for their meal.
