Mission: Mission 50: This Grey Spirit
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1000Hrs - November 20th, 2391

Commander Andrew Whiteshadow decided to go and get something to drink, he carried the five PADDs with him, in transit to the Green Dragon however he decided to lock the PADD's with his command authorization so if something went wrong, nobody could unlock it.

Whiteshadow smiled as the doors parted at his approach like the red sea parting to allow the Israelite's safe passage from the desert.

Duval was drying a glass with a dish rag as he spotted the Commander approaching him. "What can I get for you.?"

"Can I get a glass of orange punch and a bowl of Idanian spice pudding, both extra large."

"Yeah, willdo."

Whiteshadow settled in to wait for his food, moments later his snack arrived as he deposited several coins on the table before him. "Thanks."

Whiteshadow ate and drank his snack quickly before he departed the lounge with his five PADD's. Minutes later he was up in his office as he tapped the display.

"Whiteshadow to Operations, I need a secure com link to JAG Headquaters in Santiago, Chile. On Earth."

"We're on it sir." came the response from one of the Operations people that he didn't know.

A few minutes later he found himself face to face with Commander Harmon Rabb. "Andrew.. Whats up?"

"Oh not a lot... other then this case that I have to drop in your laps.... I have five officers who are displayed from another universe." Whiteshadow explained briefly about the details of the case.

Rabb sighed. "Okay, we have no regs about it.. Do you have any paperwork for these guys?"

"Actually... I do." and with that he slid the first PADD across his desk before he hooked it to up his monitor, he then tapped a few buttons on the PADD and then he tapped another few buttons. "I'm sending you the files now."

Rabb nodded. "I'm receiving them now."

Whiteshadow nodded before he quickly unloaded all five of these files. "All five are being sent your way... Happy processing my request.."

"Lovely... We'll get on with this... What are you're five people doing now?"

"One of them if on Starbase 12 working with their Intel guys." Whiteshadow explained. "The rest are part of the battlegroup that I serve with... for now anyway.... I hear that two of them are goign to want to go to Deneva for training."

"Okay... Thats fine.. so long as we can keep an eye on them." Rabb explained. "I need to go brief the Admiral and we'll get the ball rolling on this... but this could take quite awhile."

"Fair enough..."

"Right.. Rabb out." and with that Commander Rabb who was sitting in his own office at JAG HQ on Earth sighed softy. "Shit!" he muttered as he transferred the five files to a PADD, he rose to his feet and went out the door. "Harriet. Is the Admiral available?"

"He will be shortly sir. I'll call you when he is... whats going on?"

"I have a situation with five persons are stranded in this universe from another reality, they are all starfleet officers... at least in their native reality."

"What!?" Harriet Sims inquired. "I don't think we have regulations to cover that.."

"We don't. Its never happened before." Rabb explained as Sims sighed. "Crap.."

"Yeah... They have no way to get home... and they are stranded here."

Harriet nodded as she tapped the display. "Let me go check with the Admiral. I'll just be a minute." and with that the smaller woman rose to her feet and went into the Admirals office without knocking, she looked at him. "Sir. you available?"

"Sure, Harriet. Whats up?"

"Commander Rabb needs to see you, he has a situation come up.. of universal displacement."

"Universal..." Chegwidden frowned as he said it. "Sure send him in."

Harriet nodded. "Yessir.". She turned and went back out to Rabb. He'll see you now."

"Thanks." and with that Rabb went into Chegwidden's office. "Harriet tells me you're bored and you got something exciting for us to deal with."

"Yeah. I do." Rabb handed Chegwidden the PADD. "On there is the service jackets of five officers, none from this universe...They all apparently want to remain in Starfleet but we have no legal codes for this."

Chegwidden nodded his head. "These are all members of the same family, asides from the Gorn... a Warrant Officer 5th Grade Toshnarr."
Chegwidden quickly reveiwed the case. "Alright.." he tapped the displauy before him. "Chegwidden to Turner?"

"Turner here. Yessir?"

"I need you in my office, bring your A game Sturgis."

"Willdo. on my way." and not even ten seconds later the door opened and in walked Commander Sturgis Turner. "You wanted me sir?"

"I'm going to assign you the case of the decade." and with that he handed Turner the PADD. "Sort out this unholy mess... I'm letting you handle it. No rush... do it right and make sure all the bases are covered, you're dealing with officers who are displaced from another universe, they all want to remain in Starfleet..... We don't have the regulations for alternate realities, other timelines and alternate universes..." Chegwidden explained. "You will deal with it.."

"Yessir."Turner smiled. "I still have two cases to prepare for however."

"Not anymore, assign them to Lt Commander Roberts and Lieutenant Keith Heatherly respectively, as of now, this is your only assignment until you tell me once and for all.... that its finished. I have the utmost faith in you Sturgis. Any questions?"

"Just one... Why me?"

"Because.... I figured you were due for a big break... besides, you did a hell of a job with the Mazuko court marshal because you buried him under a mountain of evidence. You also tolerate no crap from anyone..... Not even Admirals....Thats why you got this.... I need my best to ensure these five get a fair chance.. Thats you."

Turner looked at Rabb. "How come you didn't get this?"

Rabb nodded. "I got four cases to deal with... You had the lightest workload... and Loran is dealing with the Lindsey investigation... Besides.. You're perfect for this."

"Right then... both of you.... out. I got work to do."

"Yessir." and with that both Turner and Rabb departed Chegwiddens office to attend to their various issues and problems.
