Mission:
Mission 49: The Stars Look Down
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 1000Hrs - November 6th, 2391
It was early morning and Senior Staff Sergeant B'onaq was disgusted once again with her former mate's actions. Word of the end result was now common knowledge so she wore her duty uniform rather then her Klingon armor which she felt served no logical uses anyway and she went in search of her quarry.
B'onaq reached her destination after twenty minutes of prowling the halls of the USS Dreamcrusher, she peered at the nameplate on the door before she tapped the door chime.
Within. Celeste Yamaguchi rose to her feet as she had taken the day off, not like there was anything to do really as she knew that Brianna was nearby. She answered the door to find herself face to face with a Klingon woman who peered up at her, a pensive look on her face. "Can I assist you?"
"I am B'onaq." the Klingon announced herself. "I have come to avenge my mate's dishonor."
"You'd better come in." Celeste responded evenly. "I assume you were told only part of the tale..." she indicated the replicator. "Help yourself."
B'onaq regarded Celeste with a measure of suspicion. "You were the one who brought the dishonor to my husband."
"A bold statement... from someone in your position." Celeste responded.
"It was your husband that followed us to the night club." Brianna told B'onaq. "We tried to avoid him and told him to leave us alone."
B'onaq turned to the second human woman. "Then... perhaps I'd best have the story from the beginning."
Celeste went over to the replicator and got herself a glass of ice cold water. "Bri... I'll let you tell the first part..."
"Which part is that?" Brianna asked. "How he physically attacked me on the Argonne or the night club?"
B'onaq raised an eyebrow. "I would hear both parts... My husband has been dishonored.. and he has brought shame to me but he never told me why he did what he did... worst of all if that I must hear it from other sources." the Klingon explained. "Do not misunderstand me.... if he were alive, I would kill him myself for this travesty."
Celeste drained the glass of liquid and then she recycled it. "This talk of warfare is making me thirsty."
B'onaq smiled as she chuckled in amusement. "Y'know... I like you Doctor.. "
"Thats because I know how to deal with the average Klingon, say the wrong thing and they take offense... ready to fight right then and there. The fact that you came to us indicates you are at least a cut above the average."
"I'm not sure if thats a compliment... or an insult." B'onaq admitted.
Celeste replicated herself another glass of water. "Why be choosy... decide that its both. I mean it'll save us so much time."
B'onaq regarded the taller woman with a smile on her face. "As you wish." she turned to Hobbs. "What did my PaH'taK of a husband do to you?"
"First off, he allied himself with a thoroughly dishonorable man named Colonel Nye." Briann explained to B'onaq. "Nye would have Ro'cholk intimidate and abuse other Star Fleet personnel. All contrary to the orders and wishes of Nye's commander and Ro'cholk knew this. Nye gave Ro'cholk an excuse to act in this manner."
"He physically beat me once on board the Argonne." Hobbs continued. "And of course after he sexually assaulted Celeste he tried to kill me and almost succeeded. He did kill several other Star Fleet personnel. A few of them for no reason."
B'onaq stood in silence as she listened rather intently as she shook her head. "His dishonor is complete.." she responded softly. "He shames me and my children with this... atrocity.."
"This is the Federation." Hobbs told B'onaq. "You or your children are not responsible for his actions."
B'onaq opened her mouth then she closed it again. She regarded Hobbs with a soft look before she tried again. "You are too kind... I am not sure I could be so forgiving were our positions reversed." the Klingon admitted.
"Punishing you our your children will not undo what Ro'cholk did. Besides, I doubt he asked for your advice before he acted." Brianna replied.
B'onaq nodded her head. "Its times like these I am glad I am not in the empire." she answered. "we would not be having this chat."
"No but maybe Ro'cholk may not have been so reckless had he been in the Empire?"
"It matters not." R'onaq responded. "He has dishonored me and my children will not be made to pay for his crimes.." she responded quietly. "But then...As you say... We are not in the empire and I am not wearing the armor... as worthless as it is."
Celeste raised an eyebrow. "I was..... not expecting you to say that."
B'onaq turned to the taller woman. "Let me guess.." she answred with an impish smile. "You were expecting me to say that the Klingons are the kings and queens of the universe and all others should kneel before us or suffer for it.?"
"Something along those lines... yes."
B'onaq shrugged. "Well if anyone asks, tell them you beat some sense into me."
"I doubt I'd last against you."
"We wear the same uniform Commander." B'onaq reminded her. "If anyone presses the issue, tell them you had your way with me."
Celeste raised an eyebrow, she had been expecting to hate this woman standing before her but she had not been expecting someone who was more then just a mindless idiot wanting toto die a good death and little else. "Had my way with you?"
"Yes." B'onaq responded. "As in you took me to your bed and had your way with me."
"I'm not sure you understand what that entails." Hobbs told B'onaq.
Celeste raised an eyebrow. "You are not my type... But if you insist.."
B'onaq raised an eyebrow as she regarded the taller woman. "You are serious..?"
"Good thing Klingons have a high threshold for pain." Hobbs stated out loud.
Celeste grinned. "Oh yes... You did offer."
B'onaq nodded her head. "I don't often meet humans who can handle Klingons.." she paused. "I should make mention that I prefer the company of men....Sorry Commander."
Celeste raised an eyebrow. "That is... unfortunate.."
B'onaq nodded. "We are getting off of the original subject." she paused. "Did you list off all of my.... former mate's crimes?" she inquired.
"He did rape me and he impregnated me." Celeste responded bluntly.
"Along with killing six Star Fleet officers, death was the best way out for him." Hobbs added.
B'onaq gently pulled out her dak'tag knife before she turned it over in her hands. "Then this... is for you." as she offered it to Celeste. "It is the symbol of my mates honor... since he has none, I do not wish to keep it."
Celeste regarded the blade. "Very well.." before she gently plucked it from the smaller Klingon woman's hands. "I hold you blameless for your mates misdeeds.. You can't be held responsible for these atrocities that he committed alone..."
"Nor your children." Brianna added. "We consider the matter closed."
B'onaq nodded. "In the empire, they call you weak and worthless..." she explained. "But they are ignorant and foolish.." she paused. "The Empire would do well to avoid invoking the wrath of the Federation."
B'onaq paused. "It is well that he id dead... I would kill him myself for this.." she let out a soft sigh. "I must take my leave of you... I have duty soon and I must prepare."
