| Personal History | B'onaq was born on Kronos in 2356 and she was expected to grow up to be a warrior, same with every single other Klingon who has and will ever live so she devoted herself to the marital studies. This all came to a crashing halt when her family decided to support House Duras in its attempt to take over the Empire in late 2368 so she and her family were forced to pack up and flee to the Federation. She was forced to reevaluate her entire world view to accommodate the softness of the Federation but she had that attitude broken as well when she picked a fight with four Humans and they beat her up for her trouble, Oh she landed three of them in the medcenter but the forth was the one who took her down from behind. She ended up growing up developing a respect of humans but it was when she met Ro'Cholk that she realized that she was still a Klingon and the two began dating. She enlisted in Starfleet at about the same time he joined as she entered the Marine Corps and was sent to Starfleet Basic Training for six months on Mars. She enlisted as a pilot wanting to escape operations and be challenged by something he isn’t all that familiar with. B'onaq wasn’t a star recruit at basic, but did pick up most things with ease; phaser rifles, phasers, running, climbing, EVA and zero-G movement came naturally to him. She had no real trouble learning starships operations such as; communications, LCARS operation, and scanners as she had spent time on her family's ships prior to joining Starfleet. Out of all the classes, it was Starfleet Hand to Hand combat where she really shined. Following completion of basic training, she was sent to Starfleet Security School for six weeks to undergo department specialization training. Security School wasn’t too difficult, a few courses on rules and regulations, more Hand to Hand combat classes, instruction on driving the Argo Buggy and the use of its Type-IV Phaser Canon. Completing these she was assigned to his first ship, the USS Veracruz. The Veracruz is an interesting assignment and she learns plenty, especially on dealing with people, something she’d struggled with in the past. The Security Chief of the Veracruz although believes in B'onaq and pushes her harder than ever to excel, even thought B'onaq herself thought the work was too easy. She fought the Borg, the Cardassians and just about every single enemy the Federation would know from the 2370's onward, on other fronts however she was now firmly mated to Ro'cholk who was a Marine Officer and she would go on to have three children with him, two boys and a girl. B'onaq went on to fight the Dominion War, first shot to last in an almost never-ending series of battles which would permit her to restore her family name several times over. When peace was restored, she ended up on patrol duties most of the time but she was offered the chance to go to Hazard School and then on to Force Recon School, both back to back on Mars, she accepted and found herself becoming a Search and Rescue Operator. This was a job she thoroughly enjoyed and she stuck in a request to serve alongside her mate but before the request was approached, she found out he had assaulted and raped a Starfleet officer then he had been killed but not before he had killed ten others in a rather brutal contest. She still came across to the Tranquility but now she must deal with this matter that has arisen. It would take her some time to process the matter but soon, she was called upon to handle another issue that had arisen. She was reassigned to the USS Relentless as their Chief of Intel. She went over without comment or protest. |
