Mission: Mission 42: A House Divided
Location: Battlecruiser Ryazar's shield
Timeline: 1100Hrs - September 12 2391

Ryuukei felt the slight jolt as the shuttle dropped out of FTL. Walking up to the Cockpit, where Lirvinx was at the controls. "We are here," Lirvinx commented.

Ryuukei looked at the display, which quickly found Ryazar's Shield. The battlecruiser looked almost peaceful lying on the diminutive planetoid's dusty surface. Ryuukei mentioned over the comm, " Alright guys, suit up, we are here."

Siaxx blinked her eyes open as she quickly hauled herself out of bed as she regarded the male Bolian next to her. "Hey... duty calls." as she gently kissed him.

Shorin smiled. "Yeah... we best get ready.."

Siaxx nodded as she began to dress. The massive Male beside her also began to dress.

Meanwhile nearby Elizabeth gently began to gear up as Kameron was able to gear up much faster then she could, finished donning his armor first before turning assist her with hers. "Easy Beth... let me help you."

"Okay.." she responded.

Teval donned his own spacesuit, which promptly reminded him of just how much he hated wearing clothing. At least the suit he had was an akurian model, designed for Akurians, and as a plus, the energy shield system still worked at full capacity. The suit doubled both as a space suit and heavy combat armor. It still took him several minutes to stuff his long fluffy tail into the suit, eventually resorting to wrapping his tail around himself. Hakaya was nearby and likewise having similar trouble, while Arumi, Kakivi, and Weyai all donned theirs with relative ease.

The group then walked out of the room to where the others where waiting, with Hakaya commenting, "This suit really makes me hate clothing even more."

Elizabeth was the one who answered. "Oh I hear ya." she commented. "I never like these things." as Foehammer added. "We ready guys?"

Lirvinx guided the shuttle over to the back of the massive battlecruiser, when he noticed a hole in one of the hangar bay doors, prompting Seyaki to comment," That wasn't there before."

Lirvinx nodded as he scanned the ship," Yeah, that blast is only a few months old." He then activated the intercom," OK guy's, grab your weapons, this ship has had visitors before."

Kameron checked his items as he smiled. "Okay... Time to earn some hazard pay." he commented. "Beth?"

Yamaguchi checked her phaser as well as her rifle. "I'm good." she responded softly.

Teval and Hakaya both retrieved akurian weapons as the group shuffled int the Airlock. Once the inner lock closed behind them, the air was pumped out as lirvinx said over the comm," OK, guys, this bird is too fat to fit in the hangar bay, plus the bay doors have no power anyway, so you guys will have to space jump over to the hangar. Don't worry, I'm bringing the shuttle within 5 meters of the hangar bay. Varkon, Fordring, make sure you guys grab that power cable next to you, we will use that to hook up the ship, and start the power up sequence. Ok. doors opening now."

The outer airlock doors opened and Teval got a good look at the scale of the ship, as the shuttle approached the massive battlecruiser. He saw six of the ships eight massive engine banks, and got a gool look at the VLS launch hatches as the shuttle flew closer to the hangar. "Wow that thing is big."

Arein nodded, "Yep 2,944 meters in length and weighing in at over 131 million metric tons, she is not a small ship."

Fordring nodded. "Got it." he responded as he gently grasped the massive cord that wasn't far from him. "You guys ready?"

"I hate spacewalking." Elizabeth Yamaguchi muttered. "I can do this... I can do this.."

"It'll be okay." Kameron responded as he gently ran a hand over her shoulder. "I'll go out with you. It'll be fine."

Once the shuttle got within distance, Varkon, sideswipe and Abbado where the first three to make the jump, making it with ease thanks to the planetoids very weak gravity. Abaddo and Sideswipe where the first to step0 through the hull breach in the main hangar, phasers at the ready and checking for any potential threats. Kurso Teska, Aerin and Karryn Jumped next, and when Kurso stepped inside, he commented, "This place has been stripped clean, all the scout drones normally in here are gone."

Elizabeth came over with Kameron right beside her. The two Fordrings followed. "Talk to me goose?" Fordring growled. "Where do I plug this cord into?"

Weyai, whom just jumped on to the ship motioned for Fordring to follow, "Follow me, its over here." She then walked over to a connector socket in the wall.

Fordring hauled the cable behind him as he went over to where it was to be plugged in. "Lets do this.."

Varkon meanwhile walked to the back of the hangar bay where the doors where, and noticed several gouges in the armored doors," Someone tried to cut through this. "

Arumi pulled out a tricorder and scanned it, "Yeah, looks like they didn't get through though."

Elizabeth looked around as she slung her rifle onto her back, next to her back as Kameron Yamaguchi likewise secured his weapon.

Once the power supply was connected, Weyai flipped the circuit breakers on the control panel and the control panel for the door came to life. Arumi hit the panel and opened the door. Kurso Teska then stated," O.K. I'm heading to main engineering, "Zuko, Kakivi, Joseph, Katrina, can you all follow me."

The four of them nodded and followed Kurso to engineering while Arumi said, Alringht, a couple of you stay back with the Shuttle, "rest of us, lets get to the command center. Everyone, keep an open comm."

Ryuukei jumped over to the Battlecruiser along with Teval, while Seykai and Lirvinx stayed in the shuttle. Varkon was the first to Volunteer, "I'll stay behind at the shuttle."

Elizabeth shook her head. "I am not spacejumping back... No.. I'll remain here." as Kameron watched his wife's distress but he said nothing.

Siaxx meanwhile was nearby. "Alright.. my guys. with me." as she moved off, Elizabeth and Kameron as well as Galiaan Fordring followed in silence.

It was a long walk to get to where the command center was, given the sheer length of the ship. The internal lifts in the ship werent working so the group was forced to hike the nearly kilometer long distance required to get to the Crew citadel. No one really said much when they reached the armored blast doors that separated the main crew citadel from the rest of the ship. Fortunately there was enough power in the system from their shuttle to open the doors, and that's when Ryuukei saw the first bodies. Lying just on the other side, the preserved remains of an Ankuri, several leokuri and jorkuri and a human layed out on the deck, their bodies preserved by the vacuum of space. Seykai commented over the Comm," Yeah, with the crew dead, I had the ship's atmosphere vented, there was no point in keeping the ship pressurized."

Siaxx wasn't expecting the bodies. "Guys... we got bodies in here..." she turned to the smaller beings in front of her. "You guys got any special customs or funeral rites?"

Ryuukei sighed then answered, "It depends on the culture in question, but in this case, we will just keep it simple. we will collect all the bodies and store them in an un pressurized area of the ship, then bury them once we get to Vega."

Siaxx nodded. "Alright... I'll handle that..." she paused. "I'd like a few people to help... if you guys don't mind."

Elizabeth nodded. "I will assist..." as Kameron nodded. "I'll help.." a couple of other voices did likewise.

Seykai then said over the comm," Ok. some of the robots on the ship still have enough power to run, so i am activating them now, I'll have some help with the bodies, and the rest beginning to work on repairs."

Ryuukei nodded as the group made it to the command center, where the Captain still sat at the command console, having been there for 59 years. Ryuukei looked at the Human female captain, "Captain Seyzaka Azar, I met her not a few weeks before we ended up here."

Ryuukei then looked down, at the floor, where the body of a young Kurokuri laid. "And that's Ikuvi, poor little guy hadn't even reached full adulthood yet, just started his enlistment."

Siaxx sighed softly. "When we get to Vega... they'll be remembered.." she said quietly. "By us.... if by nobody else.." she added softly. "We should carry on..."

Ryuukei nodded and got to work.
