Ethan nodded in silence before he answered. "All I had was mom and dad, nobody else," he commented with a sigh. "Now I'm finding out I have you, your husband and various children and there is Jeff along with his children."

"You did not mention T'Nae." Duval pointed out one little detail.

"I have nothing to say about this version of T'Nae.." Jefferson responded bluntly.

"You've not met her," Duval responded softly. "At least met her before you decide."

"No!" Ethan responded bluntly. "Not after what My T'Nae did to me." he glared angrily at the tall female who looked at him, she then sighed softly. "Ethan. I am telling you that T'Nae is not like that... You're not giving her a chance.!"

Ethan regarded her with an extremely angry look on his face "There is nothing to give.. the T'Nae in the old reality I was from was a monster. She was an abusive little bastard who violated me every chance she got. She did things to me I do not like to think about. Unforgivable things.." Ethan rattled off his points in bullet form.

Duval looked at him, having a horrible feeling creep up her spine as she had an idea as to what he was going on about. "Then at least tell me what she did. So I can help you work through it."

Ethan regarded the strange woman before him with a pitiable look. "You wanna know... Fine. I'll tell you." he said gently, in a rather soft tone. "She raped me often. At least once every couple of days, sometimes more and this went on for years. She aborted at least six pregnancies that I knew about, probably more and she also played games with me. Getting inside my head, to the point where she held me as little more than a mindless prisoner inside my own mind."

Duval was horrified as he told her, her eyes went wide with surprise then disgust and horror, all in equal measure. "No wonder you didn't wish to know this T'Nae... You assume she'll be nothing like the one you knew.." she paused. "I should have guessed."

"Well... There were various other crimes she did, but I'm willing to bet at that the two T'Nae's look alike at least," he responded, venom dripping from his tone of voice.

"Well. I can't comment on that one." Duval answered, somewhat baffled by his question about the looks of T'Nae. "She's slim, slender and she takes very good care of her figure."

Ethan paused, this information did not match what he recalled from his T'Nae who had been murdered. "My T'Nae was a fatass. She was just shy of six foot and weighed in at two hundred and fifty pounds."

"Oh wow," Duval responded, without thinking. "Well, this T'Nae is only a hundred and forty," she explained. "I think Jeffery got the better deal of you two."

"Yes. I should agree with that as it seems that way," Ethan responded before he sighed. "I assume he has a family?"

"He has several children. Of those, two are almost forty but he had those with another woman. Olympia Vall-something I think." Duval paused as if she had forgotten the name.

"Olympia Vale," Ethan responded quietly. "I remember her too. Well, my version anyway, she was an Admiral and was part of the Starfleet Security Forces." he smiled. "She's quite the little Nazi."

"Oh.. Well mine is dead, she didn't bother to tell Jeff that he was a father so he inherited two sons who didn't know him." she paused. "Marcus and Anthony were their names. Then he had two girls with T'Nae. T'Lee and T'Kera. She was the one that gave me a ride here." Duval paused. "They just had another set of children not that long ago. Alex and Balin," she explained as she smiled. "A girl and a boy respectively," Duval added with a grin.

"Which one?" Ethan inquired, while the two walked past various sized rocks while they were being trailed by the third person in their crew who could hear everything that both Heather and Jefferson were talking about.

"T'Kera was the one who's here on Deneva. You'd like her. She's a Marine just like her dad, but she makes an effort to get along with most." Duval paused. "She was raised mostly by-" she paused when she realized her error.

"She's a younger version of T'Nae. Lovely." Jefferson growled in response.

Meanwhile further back up the ridgeline. T'Kera was horrified at what she had heard about her mother. "Mom... I think you need to meet this man," she asked aloud softly. "I must make arrangements," she added, more to herself than anyone else considering there wasn't anyone within earshot to hear her.

Duval nodded as she responded. "Mmmhmm," she responded. "Seriously, you need to meet T'Nae as this woman is a real sweetie. She's not the barbarian you left behind.." Duval answered, almost pleading at this point.

"Actually she's dead. Killed by a Romulan named Ra'Vak." Ethan explained evenly. "Good riddance to the bastard too," he added.

"Oh." Duval sighed softly. "Well. I guess that's that then."

"Not really. Considering that a meeting between myself and this universe's T'Nae is now inevitable." Ethan commented with a sigh. "Once you finish telling here where I am and how she may find me... Is that not so?" Ethan peered across at her.

"Yes. But knowing T'Nae... I won't need to tell her anything, she's already out, looking for you." Duval answered quietly. "She wants to meet you, to know who you are... Are you anything like her husband and so on." Duval added.

Ethan sighed softly. "I came here to find peace among these mountain crags." he sighed softly. "The avalanche has already started; it is too late for the pebbles to vote," he commented as he regarded her.

"What does that mean?" Duval inquired, confusion in her eyes.

"This conversation, This two-hour hike is like the sprinkling of small stones that starts an avalanche and sooner or later I will need to deal with T'Nae."
