Timeline: 0900Hrs - July 26th 2391

Rear Admiral Jake Yamaguchi regarded Zara Tane as she was sitting behind her desk. He stood before her desk wearing a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. "Y'know Zara, when I heard about you and Lasky dating, I actually didn't believe it... but I want to know what charges you plan on bringing Torilla... So I can return her to you or if I need another.. Executive Officer.. since you and Telios Wintersnow are not getting along...at all...ever."

"My XO... is Torilla," Zara looked up with red, watery eyes as she spoke very clearly. "Not that beast of a woman... I just don't know the best way to fix it with Tory."

Jake paused as this was not what he had expected. "Do you want to sort things out with Torilla?" he inquired gently. "She's going slowly insane over on the Dreamcrusher as she has nothing to do..." he paused. "Torilla aided and abetted the hallucination incident... she didn't carry out." Jake went over to the replicator and got himself a glass of water. "If.... you want her back... "

"I want her back... but only if she sees what she did was wrong," Zara spoke quietly as she nursed a terrible stress-related migraine. "If I didn't sleep with her, maybe it wouldn't feel so bad."

Jake raised an eyebrow as he placed a PADD before her. "Well... Torilla gave me this... to give to you." he explained. "There are two documents on there, one of them is a letter from Torilla to you and the other is the recent incident on the USS Dusk... which Captain Zuko has placed a small crew to look after her."

The contents of the PADD were as follows.

FM: CMR Torilla Yamaguchi
RE: Recent Events

Hello Zara. I don't think words alone could really convey what I wanted to say so I'll give this my best shot and see how this goes. I hope you would actually read this and not simply hit the delete key as I wanted to share with you a couple of things I had been thinking about recently.

Firstly and foremost, the fact of what I did to you was wrong, regardless of what I said and I did or what I didn't say and didn't do, the end result was still wrong. I violated you, except what I did was worse then what Elizabeth did to you... She felt she was protecting my marriage to my husband... I did it because I wanted something from you, something I honestly had no right to ask of you.

Zara... know that I will always regret what I did and allowed to have happened to you. In closing... I know you are angry with me and rightly so.... but you are still one of the best friends I ever had.

Was the contents of the letter as Jake sipped his drink, while he waited for Zara.

"Why do the women in your family like taking part in mindfucking me?" Zara joked halfheartedly before she sniffed a bit. "I forgive her. No mark on her record... But I will hold her name, the next round CO nominations pop up, as punishment."

"Alright... I'll tell her so she can relax... and stop worrying about it." Jake responded. "Well... in the women of my family's defense.. you've yet to meet Celeste and Rachael has yet to harm you."

"Rachael is the only one with a level head," Zara laughed in kind. "...It's just that I no longer feel safe in my own skin. And I feel far too guilty now, that when I go to drink or smoke to relax, I find I can't."

"Fair enough," Jake responded. "I have no idea of what that feels like.." as he tried to picture it and he couldn't do it before cringing.
