The Many Levels of Stupidity

Mission: Mission 34: Between Two Fires
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1300Hrs - June 25th, 2391

Lieutenant JG Lieutenant JG Jiao Anderson was sitting, working her at her desk as she was checking over the ships pile of holodeck programs, she wasn't accessing the files but she was cleaning up the computer system.

"El Tee.." a voice said as Ensign Garry Smithson came over as he placed a PADD into her hands. "The Exec wants the entire communications system cleaned out and dealt with."

"Lovely." Jiao Anderson responded. "When?" she found herself in a really happy mood whenever Smithson was around, trouble was, she knew exactly why that was.

"Two weeks from now."

Anderson sighed softly. "You ever feel like you're working at the Tower of London?" she inquired with a soft chuckle.

"No... I find my work really fulfilling actually." Smithson admitted. "Like the protestant reformation is still continuing actually."

Jiao raised an eyebrow. "What are you... the eighth Henry?" as she found it great fun to toy with Smithson as he could easily keep yo with her. "At least the Spanish inquisition ended centuries ago."

"Well at least I don't cut the heads off of my wives like that fat bastard." Smithson smiled at the much older woman, it was not a secret that he liked Jiao as he flowered under her attention.

"Your also not married.." Anderson smiled.

"For now, my dear Jiao, only for now." Smithson baited her.

"Why... you like a pretty woman?" Jiao smiled as she leaned forward before batting her eyes at him, it was part of the game they played, either he chased her or she chased him.. "Like Catherine Howard?"

"I prefer my women to have brains in their heads rather then simple looks...." he responded to her bait with a smile "I thought Anne Bolynn was the most dangerous of them all."

Jiao raised an eyebrow. "So... you like fiery women who don't lack passion.?"

"I do... better then someone who's dull and boring." Smithson responded as he placed a large glass onto her table before Jiao handed him a second PADD. "Would you mind handling that for me please and thanks."

"Sure El Tee. Consider this handled." and with that he turned and departed as the door opened, on came the department klutz who collided with Smithson, she dropped her half dozen PADD's onto him along with a hot cup of coffee which she manged to burn him with. "What the hell!"

"Get outta mah way." Crewman Recruit Crewman Recruit Kosidiota Munphuck growled at him.

"Munphuck.." Anderson growled as she came over. "Clean this mess up." she demanded as Smithson picked himself up, he picked up his own PADD but he left the others on the ground.

"Get Mah PADD's." Munphuck demanded of Smithson who had been burnt by the coffee.

"Silence!" Smithson growled at her. "You dare speak to me like that!"

"I'll speak to you how I please... ugly ass.."

"Watch your mouth crewman." Jiao Anderson growled. "Go on Ensign. Go tend to your injuries."

"Thank you." Smithson walked out the door as he almost went right through Munphuck as he shoved her asside. Anderson watched in silence as a smile graced her face. "You might want to watch yourself...Because if I were you... I would stay out his way..."

"Whatever... He's an asshole."

"Watch it crewman.... or I will have you arrested for conduct unbecoming." Anderson smiled. "Please... try me." as she held out her hand. "PADD's... Now." she suddenly snapped.

Munphuck went down and only now started cleaning up the mess that she had created, she picked up the PADDs before she fumbled, her eyes went wide as she dropped them again.

Anderson closed her eyes a moment as she repressed her emotion to scream at the top of her lungs, before she made the decision to start the chapter paperwork on the idiot in front of her.

She opened her eyes. "Stop fucking around and give me those PADDs..." before Munphuck handed her the PADDs as Anderson took them off of her. "Take this to Ensign James O'Haloran in the starboard computer core, you will find him at the bottom level... you got ten minutes before I want you back here for another assignment."

"I won't make it." Munphuck whined.

"Stop arguing with me and go... you still got ten minutes... most will take only five. Now go." Anderson watched as the women before her fled out the door before Jiao Anderson went back to her work, she found herself liking Garry Smithson except there was a fifteen year age gap between them. a sigh escaped Jiao's lips before she could stop herself.

She wanted him but the age gap would seriously complicate matters but that wouldn't stop her from being friends with him.
